I have my longer coming in the mail on Thursday!!! Super excited! For .2 layer height they came out really clean! I thought it was .15 layer height. Super excited to start printing!
honestly, I love mine we have a friend who is building a farm from them because they are printing so well he already had 4 lol
I just bought it! I had not seen your video before my purchase, but I totally agree with your conclusions. Among other possible improvements, the Ender technical team should include a touch screen in their design and please a filament end detector! Thank you for your honest opinion.
Have the Diggro Alpha-3 Pro version which is the same printer rebadged.. Main reason I went with this one was the nice touchscreen interface.. Turns out it's a very good printer!
i have to say i love this machine, so much so ive bought two more
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint awesome.. I did print another nozzle cooling fan shroud found on Thingiverse www.thingiverse.com/thing:4242796 and like it much more.. Also a filament guide but I keep my roll up top...
Time to compare this with Voxlab Aquila. Similar price and statistics but very keen to see what Voxlab(Flashforge) has come up with.
Hi what was the thing hanging from the top of the printer holding the black tubing? Also Maybe tone down the music on the timelapse. Great video and info
its a ID badge holder, its retractable so goes up when the printer does
Sovol SV01 has the best print quality and it's direct drive, I wish this printer has direct drive and auto level I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Hi, I'm new at your channel, doubt :o) What you've used to hold the cables (something black)?
I use a retractable ID badge holder I put them on all of my machines
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint I liked the idea, going to do the same, thank you!!
As a beginner, i wish your reviews were more in depth, like how is the leveling, auto, semi, bl sensor, none, do the belts have tenssioners, etc, especially when compared to the "original" ones.
its a good point, we need to start writing scripts so we actually cover off all the points we need to and our reviews are abit more consistent, for context this machine is an assisted bed level, and there is a belt tensioner on X but Y comes pre tensioned, the print quality is far and above better than the quality I ever had on my ender 3
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint If you want my opinion on where reviewers go wrong is that they just show out of the box prints. If I am choosing between 2 printers I want to compare the best prints not the worst.
@@petercallison5765 so this print is not out of the box, this is after about 1 month of owning the machine and printing that hand that was for an actual project and you can see the quality, we have to show how the printer does as standard because that's how you would receive it, we could modify everything to linear rails but that wouldn't be the machine you would be buying so it offers little context
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint Yes clearly you do a better job than most reviewers. I would not expect linear rails etc.. just a good print profile. Many other reviewers produce a poor print and just say Oh that just needs this or that tweaked but don't actually do it. Just as a point of interest I sell 3D printers and do a lot of test prints and would say at this point my best prints have come the outdated Flashforge Adventurer 3. I guess due to a very light bed and the enclosure.
I just bought one for my son for Christmas. We got it put together and when I try to print one of the sample items it gets to the temperature and it says it is putting filament. it says restart your printer homing error. This is our first 3d printer so we are lost. I formated the card and put the files back on. Can you please help us he is disappointed
Hi Tonya, there is a group on facebook that may be able to help you a bit more than supporting you through these comments, fo insert filament you would need to check your filament runout sensor is plugged in and the same for making sure all the endstop are plugged into the right connectors

What filament are you using to make this alien hand?
that is an own brand filament from a Uk company called 3DFilaprint
@@jamesrooke3665 thanks! Have you used another filaments with this 3d printer?
@@wilsonjunior1558 ive used Azure, Filamentum, Print-Me, Prusament, Esun, Sunlu, filamentive, respool, amazon basic, in PLA, ASA-x, ABS-X, PLA+ and PETG along with some PETT
that is not an alien hand. It's a copy of Polish sculptor and painter

@@19gooral69 Ummm it is an alien hand from an alien model, which has a big alien head on it
I strongly advise against buying this printer. I purchased it in the fall of 2020 and it was out of order 7 days after purchase.
The support service on the manufacturer's website is silent and does not answer questions. The seller is also silent. The quality of this product is poor. Buy a different model.
we have 2 and know people with 4 others and so far no issues, that being said we havent had to contact support for anything, im sorry you didnt enjoy the machine because its becoming one of my favourites
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint I am sincerely glad for you and all your friends. But practice is the criterion of truth. This is not a matter of personal bias. It's hard to be happy with a device that spontaneously shuts down every 10 minutes.
How would you react to a car that stalls on the highway 6 times an hour?
But most of all, the manufacturer's silence is surprising.
However, obviously you are a biased person, since you advertise this model.
@@kozsc1 we are not biased we bought this printer with our own money we were not gifted it in order to produce a good review. but if a printer prints well we will endorse it along with all the others we know that work fine
@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint I willingly believe you, but I bought this printer and filament with my own money. I am a teacher and this year I expected to teach students 3D modeling. Based on my not-so-big salary and after looking at many "unbeatable" reviews, I settled on this model. The result was an inoperative device, a lack of manufacturer support, and a disrupted learning process. There are no complaints about you, the comment was posted in order to warn other users against buying this model.
It's good to know Longer isn't particularly great in the service department, but honestly that's to be expected with any budget (even some mention mid-range priced) 3D printers sadly. My Tevo Tarantula did the same thing, which turned out to be a faulty PSU, which I just replaced myself over trying to deal with Tevo.
If you spend less then $1k and it breaks, you're on your own, even Ender (which is a much larger brand) has had issues.
69th like... Nice.
