I did not want to have to post this video, but my channel is about my life on 2 wheels, so here we go. Here is a link to a gofundme for help with the medical bills: gofund.me/b5afb13e Anything is appreciated! 🙏🙏🙏
I think you should post your recovery in my opinion. I think it can help others and keep you going. I know where you're coming from. I have lost everything that I own and family all around the same time. But I made it 😌. So can you. Life is about learning lessons and teaching them to others. Good luck.
I am so sorry my friend, and I hope your recovery is fast and well. I hope you recover your incredible bike or replace by a new one!! My most sincere prayers are with you.
Sorry about the crash. Glad you're ok. Thanks for posting the video and glad you spoke about the importance of gear. Can't wait to hear about future bike plans.
My channel is about my life on 2 wheels. The good and the bad. If I can get through to anyone through my experiences and help someone maybe wear some gear or be a better safer rider, that’s what keeps me going!
Glad your OK Man! I just recently became a subscriber and have been watching your R1 build videos. I just picked up a 22 R1 and your videos have been super helpful.. but anyways, speedy recovery my friend!
Dang man glad you're ok. You're absolutely correct wear your gear. The injuries you suffered is very common i went down years back i suffered the same except i broke 3 ribs but collar bone was toast as well. Hopefully you get back on asap super important for your mind set. I was back on in a month. Heal up dude
Thank you man! Wear your gear haha, I feel like such a dad but I feel obligated to share my story and hopefully get through to someoen about the importance of gear. In terms of the injuries, its part of the sport. Im alreayd looking for a replacement bike.
@@MotoViceOfficial dam it was a total loss? Yea you gotta get back on i did, same injuries broken collar bone and cracked 3 ribs was riding within a month. As long as you can put pressure on the shoulder.
I fill like a pos but your a true professional, I’m asking all of these questions and your answering them all while going through this speed bump in life. I’m glad your ok as we never know what’s around the next corner in life. Can’t wait to see what you next. If you get another R1 I know a great RUclips channel you can watch for ideas and help with installations😉 Check out Spark exhausts sold by Moto-D on your next build. I truly love mine!! Again glad you’re ok and thanks for the help on my R1 build this spring.
It happens to all of us. Chin up guy. Pause, assess, plan, then put to action your recovery and bike replacement. I bet you are feeling way better already. Time heals these kind of incidents.
So sorry to hear this but unfortunately us that ride on the street know the risk and Definitely always wear full gear. Thank god you were wearing full gear. Last weekend I lost a close friend on a motorcycle accident. Rip my brother jose. Wish you fast recovery and definitely get another sexy R1!!
I'm so sorry to hear about your lose, I really hope that it was not by a car. My thoughts are with you my friend, and Rest In Peace Jose. As you said, we all know the dangers of this sport, we just need to mitigate the risk as much as possible.
Buy another r1! Best bang for buck and best sound, we live and learn from our crashes. Get back on a bike as soon as you can and build confidence back up. Also do track training days. It would be cool if we could go to Yamaha champ school . Or sport bike track time .
Yeah we will see what insurance says and take it from there. This is all a learning opportunity, not going to keep me off of 2 wheels. I hit as many track days as my work allows. We should hit one since I’m back on my feet!

Crash recovery is painful, gear will protect you against road rash, but not broken bones. The best way to prevent a crash is to control the throttle.
100% agree!
Bro, That sucks. I am so sorry to hear that. I hope you are recovering well and I hope insurance works in your favor.
Appreciate the kind words man!

Please be careful, our son died when he was 17 so painful .... don't do the same to your parents.
Thank you amd I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Thats terrible.
i wear my tech air 5 99% of the time and you barely notice its on. get well soon my guy!
I won’t ride without a tech air moving forward. That’s for sure!!!
Why did the crash happen in the first place? Was speed a factor?
Speed, decreasing radius and lost my vision.
Alive!!!
Yes I am!
