@@warped1589 3:27 was the biggest foreshadow. He’s driving like a dickhead. Lanesplitting has its place, but to be doing that in a crowded place like this where cars aren’t looking for bikes, aren’t expecting a bike to be cutting them off from their left turn, low visibility as it is, and so forth, it’s just asking for something to happen. And when the actual crash happened, he rammed into the back of that car. Slow moving traffic that is stop and go, and he’s going considerably faster. Always ride like you’re invisible, and ALWAYS have an escape route in mind for when something goes wrong.
@warped1589 looks like he accelerated, then saw the cab, he either locked his front break in a panick, or squeezed the clutch and stomped on the back break thus making the bike slide since the bike tire lost grip and power or a combination of all, either way ride safe and not like this guy 😅 😅😅

What purpose have the first 3 minutes?
He was riding crazy with zero gear which is a recipe for disaster. He kinda seemed drunk or high too when you talked to him at the lights. The irony then when he told you to "be safe out here". Kinda felt bad for him when he went down but then again there was not much that he did right so it is hard to have a lot of sympathy for him.
Agreed he seemed like he was not sober
He did nothing right what do u mean lmao. Especially weaving like like in first gear on a bobber style tire is like a damn slip n slide. No gear to protect either. Wrong
@@yungchainsm0ker298 What the fuck do you mean??
Or brain damage from that past injury to his forehead.
zanax is my guess
I'm just glad this fellow rider is okay and hopefully this will be a lesson learned in the future riding. Also if you ever notice it, it's always another rider that comes out and help another rider in need. The rest just ignore and pass the guy. Enjoy the ride guys and stay safe out there!
😊
Two of the biggest knuckle heads so self fulfilling it's not funny. Not a by or leave for all the scoothing in and out of traffic as if "no rules" apply to me.
@@gaelicd8328 yeah both were doing some scary maneuvers, at least to me a new rider, but the Harley guy was definitely more dangerous, and lane splitting laws usually don't mean swerving so much but at least the camera guy didn't do anything as dangerous as the Harley, it just looked more like driving in India
They're not ignoring him, they're honking their horn's 😅
@@RaisinBarXZ550 Dude, spending time in Indian traffic made me nervous about riding a bike. I planned to learn how to ride a bike and get my own, but I almost didn't learn how to ride a bike after returning from India for 3.5 months, because it was SO sketchy. I didn't see a single crash, though. lol
I'm glad I learned and now ride, though.
Did he actually crash into that yellow van or did the forks just twist and buckle under breaking?
i think he was too late in trying to avoid that taxi, over braked and over steered. asked too much of the front tyre which promptly lost traction and then yeh he hit the taxi (you can see the cab driver taking photos of the damage at the end).
I dont think forks will ever buckle like that just under the force of steering, even from falling over. they gotta hit something that doesnt budge much.
Man riding around there like that is wild! Im glade he’s alright though man.
When you’re too embarrassed to say your dying and need an ambulance
For real. I feel for him
Fummy asf🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dude isnt even wearing a helmet, the fact that he was able to walk away is a blessing. Hope he learned his lesson.
Side note: whenever I come across bikers like this I let them get ahead of me or I pull over, I dont want them riding into the back of me trying to show off.
He definitely did
Exactly what I was thinking when he pulled out in front of him. I fully expected that to be what the video was about.
Fortunately he was wearing a hat...
Yeah. Also don’t wanna contribute to his impulsively trying to show off more
its not even obliged in some regions just sayin
Those tools are for breaking and entering unless he's a locksmith or installs door locksets.
All the cars he cut off are passing him honking and laughing at him. Classic 😂
"Oh you cut your arm a little bit"
"yeah I'm good" then proceeds to pull down his sleeve to hide the cut lol
I did notice that
The lack of gear combined with the completely ignorant and foolish riding style is the perfect recipe for something like this to happen. Thankfully he was able to just get up and walk away with very minor injury/injuries. It blows my mind as a rider myself how people feel so comfortable and confident doing this. Hopefully lesson learned.
Alright i need a ver detailed description of what this dude did wrong. New rider and it's looking to me like he crashed for no real reason which is terrifying.
@@warped1589
3:27 was the biggest foreshadow.
@@warped1589 Pay attention to what is ahead of you. If there are a bunch of stopped cars 100 feet ahead of you don't accelerate super fast then slam on the brake. Approach at an appropriate speed.

What model is that Harley? Does it come like that from the factory or was it customized?
Sportster 883 is what it looks like. That is definitely customized. The clips-on were swapped from the handlebars, among other things.
Hey was so happy to talk to another rider, seems like a newer rider that made a mistake. Glad he's alright and I'm sure he learned a lesson hopefully he didn't give up riding.
Yeah wasn't a smart thing to do but I still respect him and he probably respects the road and the bike more now as well.
This!
Slurred speech, I think he was drinking
I agree dumping my bike gave me a different perspective on things. Not like I don’t go fast still but I am more cautious and aware.

I love it 🤘💀🤘
Under the influence , as you get that from 2+ Lines in a conversation 😂😂
@@andrewramirez6206 Dude sounded a bit slow if he wasn't intoxicated anyway
@@andrewramirez6206 The rider had difficulty with speech. He was slurring some of his words. In the video provided it did not appear that the individual's head struck anything. The rider had difficulty with simple problem solving when attempting to move the bike. Based on my training and experience I would recommend that the rider be arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving and transported to the hospital by EMS for medical evaluation and a blood draw. I would then take out a warrant for medical records in addition to a search warrant for blood in order to do a full toxicology screening. I would then base charges on the results of that and or admission of guilt. Is this better?
I love hearing people tell others how to "drive" motorcycles. You clearly have lots of experience on them LMAO
That guy riding like a hooligan proves he doesn't want to be "motorbike" rider! Just a mad cow without helmet.
He was like an NPC when they start riding a main characters vehicle.
Enough said to the poor guy! , we all made mistakes, don’t we?, I’m glad the guy is ok to ride again having learned his lesson 👍🏻
Well said your right we have all done it
Sorry that was not a mistake. That was utter foolishness. No gloves, no boots, no helmet. Weaving in and out of traffic at high speed. That was plain stupidity. He's lucky to be alive.
@@danield831 Agreed. He should have learned in the motorcycle course not to apply the front brake full force with the wheel turned, let alone in an evasive situation like the one he encountered.
What was the lesson? It’s funny but then not. Crazy!
@@KHAMLOTK When faced with an emergency situation where hard braking is necessary; straighten the handlebar and apply BOTH brakes at the same time, coming to a controlled stop. Braking in a curve is never a good idea but is often necessary. Always use the back brake if braking is necessary in a curve. In this case he shouldn’t have been riding like a maniac but if he wanted to save his bike he should have performed an emergency brake and quickly maneuvered out of traffic.
No helmet, no gloves and I believe no socks and only slip on sneakers? Glad you’re okay bro.
Yeah no kiddin! I like to put on a couple layers, a big jacket, some boots, gloves, and a helmet for starters!
Wonder if that cop smacked him with a fine nyc is sticker
I just caught this no socks your the best you catch everything
Well he is the worst kind of Harley Davidson driver
No eye protection either. Can't see anything if you go over 30 without out them or at least a windshield.
You've got to have some serious stones to lane split like that!
"That guy's an idiot, rockin it with no helmut..." Said the guy IN THE "BUS ONLY" LANE. He really bought it at Bloomingdales today!
"I hadda lay err down" he literally panicked and locked the breaks when all he had to do was swerve to the right, he also was target fixated.
Yup, the bike goes where the eyes go. He was fixated on that van, and that's exactely where he went.
Ya I think the van was pretty much fully stopped just rolling w no brake lights he must’ve been focused on it trying to see if it was moving forward or not. Definitely intoxicated
Cuz he’s a dipstick
It looks like maybe the car was gonna go right then came back into the lane it was in so maybe that confused him but still your right. Wasn't identifying escape routes got target fixated etc etc

The harley is self aware, all the tools have been dropped and ready for maintenance.
Your first comments "That guy is a maniac, rocking it with no helmet " quite correct, it was like you saw it coming. You where very helpful and polite once it happened. True biker.
"Maniac" he said as he caught up to them by driving the same way lol
The guy has a head like a chewed pencil, I'm surprised he wasn't wearing one.... but everything about him seemed to imply that he's an idiot.
If I stopped beside that guy at the lights and saw his scars on his head I would not be riding fast beside him, I would let him go on...both riders were trying to impress each other as we all do but in this case I think it is clear to see this guy has already had serious head injuries.... ruclips.net/video/GuWeFHtkjS4/видео.html .
