I fought Diablos for the first time, I kept fainting, and failing over and over. My friends offered me help but I didn’t want them to fight my battle for me. It had become personal. I found out Diablos is weak to ice, so I created a frost bow. I made a ton of traps and flash pods. I went back, it took me almost the entire time allotted for the quest but Diablos and I danced back and forth exchanging blows. This music allowed me to stay focused, and keep my eyes on his movements. I can’t honestly say it felt so good to watch diablos fall, and know that I did that and overcame the challenge on my own.

That female Kestodon almost looks like a baby Barroth learning from her daddy.
I feel really bad for Barroths after the beta, It was the monster I chose to try all the weapons out on and see the changes after I did all the quests and killed the Rath and Diablos. But I must have killed it around 20 times, It got really sad since there walking animation has the head down, I felt like I'd killed a family of them and they were just getting progressively sadder as they couldn't find brothers/sisters/children.
DemolisherBPB I think lore wise you only hunt a monster once and if you do the hunt again you just reliving that moment again... So it make sense that people freaking out about one monster and not the other 20 of the same monster that you hunt afterwards..So it's fine you just killed the same barroth just on different timeline(?)...
If grinding actually happened these things would go extinct so quickly. x')
Actually it's us that would be extinct if the the monsters from monster hunter actually existed considering we have the technology of the humans in the game.
There's no way that people still fighting using blades would be able to outdo, say, a chopper. Heck just an AC130.

This is one of the best and most badass themes for barroth and for large desert monsters I’ve ever heard! And dual blades make this guy an absolute joke!
Surprisingly,dual blades is one of the worst weapons to fight him coz of the weapons bouncing,hm
Hammers make Barroth look like one of the ants of the wildpsire waste.

Battling in the wildspire wastes is my favorite pastime, whittling down rathians and barroths and jyuratodus for that sweet loot, dont get me wrong, I am a new player, HR 6, im still learning how to use my favorite weapon the charge blade 😂 the reason i play this game

I kind of hate myself for avoiding the beta but this has been one of my most anticipated games in all my life, I don't want to spoil the full release experience in the slightest.

Not really. Even though it looks very polished and good years and years of betas and early access have just ruined the appeal of the incomplete product for me. I can wait, it's not that long now.
It's called beta but it really was just a demo and MH always had demo releases shortly before the actual release, only difference is this time we had more monsters available to fight and access to a preview of the character creation/ gear selection. That said it's the first to actually have a time limit.
This theme kind of reminds me of some frontier themes now that I listen to it closely.
Does the Barroth's design remind anybody else a little bit of Pelagia from Shadow of the Colossus? The whole teeth-looking thing on the top of his head?
This is my favorite area theme in the game, even over the Guiding Lands (second place, tho). It's just so... spicy.

Better yet, hired to live stream all key village quests or key hub quests with only one weapon type selected and reset each save data to start with only one weapon type chosen....
DemonicLeo maining every weapon does not sound possible since no one usually mains 14 because when you say main you are reffering to 1 thing

hunting gigantic monsters with a bow while listening to this is just so ... RIGHT !!!!
Don't know if you know or not, but if you tap the charge button on bow (R2 or R1, I have it set for R1 but the default is R2) in succession, youll go through the charge levels. One tap would be level one charge, the next one would go to the next charge, so on so forth. Basically making power shot useless now.

you can also use that charge to fire a more powerful dragon piercer (just watch the kickback of it)

Heh, literally just got done with this fight. Perfect timing.
I hate this thing more than any other monster in this locale simply because of it's habits. He typically goes to that watering hole where you meet the first Rathian to "muddy up" and he won't leave that spot sometimes, and moving around there is difficult. And even chasing him is a pain because of the obstacles you have to cross to pursue him when he can just jump over them. Me being primarily a melee hunter (more specifically Glaive, Great sword and SnS.) I have a very hard time trying to get him pinned down. Maybe it's time i adjusted to marksmanship?
So like have pinned him down now?
One of my tips for his water and muck habbit is to equip yourself with aquatic expert en muck resistance.
I wouldn't stick with elemental weapons as he changes them thanks to the mud. So you are better of with para or poison.
Just attack the legs and tails and try to mount him often if you use glaive or SnS.
With great sword... it is not my kind of weaponn. I should start trying it tho. The new tackle makes the weapon alot more interesting.

yeah but after beatin all the current content and the current mentality of the europian community (desperate search of raid members, ACT complaints instead of investing some effort to help peeps with their performance) i feel a bit bummed out with ff ^^, and its been a while since played MH game back on the psp though.
