We call it "Kelbidrome."
This song fits the Coral Highlands perfectly. I always perceived this area as some kind of "holy"/"clean" sanctum of sorts, and for me, this track just screams "GO AWEE HUNTA FOR THIS IS UNTOUCHED, HEAVENLY SOIL". With the legiana, alpha predator of the Highlands, and the kirin, a goddamn unicorn as "protectors" of this fighting ground, both being very elegant creatures, I can only say that these two monsters and their roles further enforce my conceptual understanding of this musical piece!
Not to mention Legiana turf war with Odogaron with the heavenly divine vibe of the coral highlands reminds me of a scene of a divine, all powerful angel casting a vile carrion devouring demon to where it came from to prevent the beast staining the holy land with its evil
Fighting Kirin to this just hypes me up to levels I can't even describe
I still wish he had his original theme
He never had a theme, he just borrows the tower theme in 4U
Alex Davis I wouldn’t mind delegating that theme to him though. It’s a damn good thing, pretty fitting too in my opinion. Plus it kinda makes me sad that he’s an elder dragon with no theme :(
1:34 legit the best part, fits with an imposing monster like Fulgur Anjanath or Legiana far too well.....

If I could have a miniature pet version of any of the monsters in MHW, it would definitely be Legiana. By far my fave aesthetically. When it jumps into a fight I'm in, I dung pod it away if it's losing so it doesn't get hurt.
You should take a look at Monster Hunter Stories 2 then, you can own a Legiana in that game

Don't think your Legiana fight was terrible or bad. Watching "pro's" or more experienced players can be cool but watching people learn from the fights and apply new strategies for the next encounter is just as appealing. This song is very hype for me and I didn't pay much attention to it when I was first learning World. Recently I went after Legiana Master Rank to get materials for upgrades. I kept getting knocked around but the music motivated me to keep moving and finish the fight. I'm still learning this fantastic game that, when I first play it, I never thought I'd enjoy as much as I still do! This theme and the fight have helped make Legiana another favorite monster!

How anxiety-inducing this theme is is shocking. Which makes me believe that this theme was meant solely for Kirin, considering how absolutely chaotic the fight is with trying to dodge the lightning and everything.

I mainly used it up until rotten vale. The rathian fight is when I switched to using ranged weapons like the heavy bowgun.

It's such a good weaon.
I'm sturggling a bit with getting the buffs on some monsters as well as sharness, but it's such a blast.
Almost got Teostra on my first try with it after having ditched it for most of the game in favor of the Great Sword and the Hammer.
Wrecked Nergigante with it, and it's amazing for battles with Winged Wyverns like Rathalos. Who da boss of the skies now?! ME!

This and Wildspire Waste are probably my favorite large monster soundtracks.
Those 2 are in my top 3. The no.1 spot for me is the Rotten Vale battle theme.

First time fighting Legiana, I spent like half an hour finding her, and when I finally did, I managed to kill her with only seconds remaining. Most stressed I've ever been in a Monster Hunter game
for some reason the first 10 seconds felt kind of sad for me when i first heard it, idk why.

Its amazing to me that the person playing doesn't opt to just smack vigor wasps and heal themself that way.
When you're in the zone during the fight, you might just forget the vigorwasps are even there.

Imo, this is one of the worst area themes in the series.
I don’t think it fits the highlands at all.
I don’t like the Primal Forest’s theme in 4U, but at least it fits the area.
Couldn't fit the area better. Has a very foreign feeling to it, like you're the one on the losing side. Which makes sense, seeing as this is a completely foreign region.
