I work in a museum, and we have a super cool prison exhibit (it's a whole, completely different building, and fun fact: the building indeed used to be a prison in the 18th-19th century. so prisoners were held, killed/hanged there) and I will so do everything in my power to convince my boss to use this as a sound effect. Amidst the endless indistinct far background night chatter of the guards, can I just about hear the huffin and puffin of some near fellow inmates do gymnastics overcoming boredom unable to sleep due to cold, adding to the noice of vermin crawling in and outa my cell seekin' to scavenge the crumbs I dropped off that dry loaf of bread the guard threw at me at noon. It will be bright soon and I have just managed to get a few mins of sleep- or few hours- I don't know- you will have no sense of time with no clock phone or watch or a television in which the news presenters make you aware of it. Now I must try not to doze off will soon be five pm time for labor camp.

Alcatraz Prison needs more roles in Animated kids shows animated kids movies and Videogames like Sonic Spyro and others. Especially Prison Island having a bigger role in The Sonic Series.
This ambience is great for what will happen in my campaign! At first the party wake up in prison and there will be loud ambience in the background of people shouting and rioting, then they'll be taken out for free labour on quests. Before they leave they'll hear the "main villain" of my campaign say "Send Floor 6 to the pits" as some foreshadowing for whats to come. When they come back there entire floor will be cleared and empty, even friendly npc #12039 will be gone!

i turned this on, took out the stuffed animals i bought from the thrift store(a small cute easter bunny with a little bow, and a fluffy pink elephant with a rose sewn on top) then i got out my fake blood, put it on some needles and a knife. i then turned on my red lights and opened my old birdcage. i tortured them and locked them away to rot. :)))) cool ambience, 10/10! loved it!

I play People Playground (some sandbox game) and usually do medieval/fantasy stuff. I built a dungeon and tortured ( video game) people in it. This helps build up the roleplaying ish atmosphere. ^ ^

@@NostalgicMem0ries I use both, and also use sounds I bought (huge sound effects libraries). Then I use Cubase to arrange and mix everything. Mixing is the biggest part.
