- Starting off the new series aimed to help the poor, lost souls that decided to take on the Death Wish, somewhat recent A Hat in Time addition.
This video is about single worst (in my opinion) Death Wish to complete fully, and also a boss fight - Mafia Boss EX. Our earliest encounter has found a bunch of new tricks (and hella lot sandbags) to keep you on toes with encore. Time to analyze every move and possibility to beat him.

The only problem I had with him was Mega charge, as you pointed out in the video. I had to use Ice Hat to survive the second half of them.
Even the Mega Charge at the regular Mafia Boss fight is scary for me

Personally, I would use Projectile Badge instead of Nobonk, since it helps with not missing an attack due to it going across the entire stage.
Edit: Oh wait you mentioned that in the other stuff.
Yeah, Projectile Badge can be helpful. I don't use it because it breaks regular swing attacks a bit, but anyone else is welcome to use that
4:12 While Time Stop wouldn't help with dodging an attack, it could be viable for trying to hit the Mafia Boss before you miss the cue to attack, for example if you are far from him after a super charge/spin attack
I don't know tho, I haven't played the death wishes yet (console rip) so if there is a flaw that I'm missing with that idea, it would be nice to know about it

my issue with this guy is that in phase 2 when he drops the sandbags with 3 mafia charging
How do you dodge it when the bags are dropping in the 1/1 pattern? like the 3/3 give you three times the space to dodge, and i found it impossible to dodge otherwise
also, i swear that he always does an extra bounce during spin attack that is just an instant kill
You have to dive by distance of 3 sandbags (so you come bag-space-bag-space) and cancel the dive once in safe position. A bit trickier but still works
I had a lot of trouble with this specific attack as well, especially because the boss itself just loved to jump to the exact same spot as I was trying to dodge them creating an extra obstacle. Turns out you can actually just double jump over all of them if you time it right, which is ezsier said than done.

Ngl this is really friggin HELPFUL! Most tutorials aren't like this one, Thanks tho! Here's a tip:If you don't mind a small little cheat, Like- The creators ADDED it into the game, Turn on Assist Mode, With that you'll be able to regain health after waiting a moment, You should use that to your advantage when the mafia ball forms, You can hide in the left (And maybe right) corner and recover health, Then go out and smack em in the face!

i find a glich where you can hug the the walls at the sides and don't take any damage if you jump while he is spinning exept the charge attacks you can avoid everything,
So, is the guide series over? I was kind of waiting for the next death wishes but whatever, it's not like I have any choice...
Dunno, I honestly cannot contribute enough tips to the table without saying "git gud" and the series didn't catch that much attention as well
Maybe some levels would get the guides closer to january (certainly not all)

I got all stamped for this boss about a month ago, I had 150 deaths total all because the one hit hero badge :P

@@CrabBar Mine was over 8 hours of trying and 386 deaths before I finally got that one hit hero run. Now I can do it basically first try every time haha.
My problem is that the hit boxes are way bigger then they look

Think I noticed a pattern with the sandbags. The pattern is 2 slightly in front of where you are facing, then one directly above you.
Interesting. I can't claim nor deny that right now but may be the truth. Watching other footages could help

I might still remember this advice for then, although no-hit might be hard to pull off (for me even no-hit Mustache Girl was quite challenging, so this might be even tougher)

Defeating Deathwish Mafia Boss is really easy, If Hat Kid didnt use drugs that made her think she is getting attacked by some freaky boomerangs but actually just beating up an old man.

I actually found time stop hat good in this fight, (I stopped it manually so i knew when it would stop)
projectile is op I used it once it got me to the second phase at the start
my mans hat did 60 percent of the damage to me
Yeah this is cool and all, but the real thing we all want to see is hazard badge ultra snatcher no hit with only a copper shortsword. Come on CrabBar, that would be the quality content that all viewers need. Upload that and in a week you'll pass pewdiepie.

Edit: Haha! Finally beat him without peace and tranquility. It was starting to feel insulting watching that stamp be golden instead of fully colored.
I did it normally for the first time, but just couldn't with one-hit cus of mega charge or mafia ball's crappy hitboxes. So I used a modded insta-kill badge... Im sorry ok?

Currently doing these in order of difficulty (kinda), so bruisin is likely to be one of the next

I get it's meant to be challenging yeah, I was able to beat it after my 50th try or something.
However, that one hit badge challenge ? That is complete bullshit. In a fight as RNG as this, the "don't get hit at all lmao git gud" challenge is a disaster, even worse than that 65 seconds challenge. Making me hate the game which I actually really like.

Definitely gave up. Not patient enough for that. It's funny because i beat dj Grooves with the one hit badge, but i guess it's because he was more predictable.

Try the lowest quality. My PC is trash but on low graphics it runs with almost no lag.

Metro is currently the least optimised chapter, maybe that will change in years

3 minutes in hyperzone is fairly simple with brewing, and no hat abilities should be a given after snatcher ex fight
