For those who don't know, the Nyakuza metro secret boss is a reference to the game Yakuza Kiwami, wich has a character called Majima, who wears that exact eyepatch the cat does and usually calls the main character "Kiryu-chan".
After watching the Moustache Girl part something just clicked. In the whole game there is only (i think) 56 time pieces and only 40 of those are confirmed to be from hat kid. So either theres a lot lot more time pieces even on the planet or Mustsache Girl has dimension hopped to get what looks like hundreds in her throne room.
I mean, before it was retconned, Mafia Boss mentioned Time Pieces falling down once before a hundred (or a thousand I forget) years ago Perhaps the extra pieces are much older, from way back when they fell Or since it’s retconned, that’s not it, I personally believe it was only retconned because Mafia Boss isn’t that old and only arrived in the town rather recently (at least, not 100 years ago), but let me know what you think!
@@SleepyKatChaos i see. I admit i dont remember seeing that dialogue but i haven't played recently. But even then, surely there wouldn't have been THAT many timepieces in the world right? It seems like timepieces can have an effect on the environment if i remember some of the missions. And if they were around that long, surely there wouldn't be so many people fighting over them . The amount of time pieces in Moustache Girl's throne room feels comically too much. Thats probably the point but i like to try and figure out nonsensical logic haha. Thanks for your input, gave me more to chew on mentally. Appreciate it
@@TheDarkEnigma Even if you played it nowadays I’m pretty sure it’s changed I only remember because I was watching really old AHIT videos and noticed the change during his speech before his boss battle It went from “Time Pieces that I’ve seen before and understand” to “Strange Hourglasses that are mine because they’re in my territory” basically
the bosses are GREAT! although the normal bosses are kind of easy once you play it a couple of times (after you beat the game), the death wish versions offer more challenge.
23:37 its such a shame that they nerfed Ultra Snatcher because in my opinion he offered a perfect final showdown combining all the previous bosses' attacks into his own which was removed in the nerfed one like the mafia boss's sparks that used to appear along with snatcher's shockwaves, thankfully on pc there exists a mod by Teratorn on the workshop that restores all of the pre-nerf bosses as separate death wishes and even has a separate death wish for Ultra Snatcher once you complete pre-nerf seal the deal to battle against him without having to go through seal the deal
Agreed with the top 2 for sure! Battle of Award and the Snatcher boss. I'd also argue the death wish boss "killing two birds" is a really great twist on that fight. Having to battle both of the characters from that fight at once, and having a time limit since no one is there to diffuse your bomb.
i play a hat in time on the switch and for some seal the deal bosses (mainly snatcher) there are some moments when there are so many attacks loading on screen my switch straight up lags and doesn’t load the attack until it’s there. definitely adds to the difficulty !
2 games that do 3D bosses correct is this game and kirby and the forrgotten land. i would much rather fight snatcher, leongar, conducter and dj grooves, or morpho knight over a 3D mario boss
