according to marvel's wiki, this Miguel has no organic webbing, and he never got rid of his addiction for Rapture. this Miguel uses a lazer-neon-webbing to compensate for his lack of organic webbing. look it up.
His accelerated vision and Power of Electricity (Spiderman Shattered Dimensions) are basically what made me fall in love with this OP version of Spidey
I just wonder, if he can paralyze people with his fangs, why didn't he bite Miles when they were on top of the train? Does his venom have some side effects that can harm the person or something? Because otherwise, it feels a bit like a plot hole. His goal was to capture Miles, after all. Or did he not do it because Gwen and Peter were right there he doesn't want anyone to know about his fangs?
@@joesmithels3337 i noticed that too, but when comparing his ATSV design to the white suit design and the classic design, it looks like a perfect fusion of the two and its really cool to me
What is in the next movie We’ll see another version of Miguel, but with the organic wedding in more comic accurate abilities. What if he made a choice in his life that heavily altered his powers due to the morality of it. What is traveling to another dimension and pretending to be someone else traumatize him to the point that he can no longer use his full powers just like. Sort of like how Tobey Peter had PTSD, and that took away his powers. That is why he has to resort to laser webs and so much Nanotech.
Peter was depressed, and torn between wanting to be in love or take up the responsibility of having the great power that he had, especially considering uncle Ben's words at all times. That's why Tobey Maguire's spiderman powers kept going in and out.
I don't know if everyone noticed this but they showed that 2099 doesn't have spidersense when he is fighting vulture because he didn't notice vulture going to hit him when talking to gwen
Because in comics Miguel is not bitten by radio active spider, he made himself in spiderman in lab than his power activated because he has genetics from his parents i guess?!
I noticed it and chalked it down as just fot plot convenience. Kinda like when I thought Tobey not sensing venom was also a inconsistency but then finding out later it makes sense.
@@marccalveras5112 I'm guessing more consistent since organic web can be affected by the person like having blocks or not being as strong for various reasons
@@389OpiEnot to mention the uncertainty that his body might switch mutations or just cut off his web ability altogether unexpectedly like Toby's did, always have the option when you need it
I love Miguel O hará one of my favorite Spider-Men tbh but can’t he make a super advanced artificial version of “spider senses” and program it into his suit I understand his vision, sense of smell, and I think even hearing is enhanced but wouldn’t hurt to have those spidey senses tho
One of my favorite moments from the comics was the first time he used his venom bite. Miguel starts freaking out that he poisoned someone to death instead of just putting them to sleep.
THANKS for this!!! Just finished the Omnibus a few days ago!!! Note: I don't think the Thor in there was the real one, though. So we don't know about his worthiness :)
I really hope that with this movie and beyond that we get more Spiderman 2099 content he was always such a cool character in every medium I've seen him in much like Batman Beyond as well. Futuristic Scifi superheroes are great.
I wonder if they will do an epic moment where they are animated and they enter through a portal to the MCU and turn into real actors. Thus revealing their IRL actors instead of announcing them. Honestly I'd leave the third movie on some kind of cliffhanger for that to happen like them needing to go to MCU
I love how Miguel is addicted to a drug too(Not his choice he was drugged by Alchemax 2099) I assume Rapture is what was in his syringe that he used halfway through the movie
Why didn’t Miguel get a comic panel origin like all the other spider people? He just get a pan over like “I’m this universes one and only Spider-Man…at least I was”
Hey Whitney, what's the story w/ his spider injection? he gives himself a shot and it looks like nano spiders attached to his blood cells. does this give him his spider powers? does it suppress a hunger like Blades serum? anything like this shot in the comics? thanks
He’s not a vampire so I wouldn’t buy the hunger thing. If I were to guess it might be that this Miguel is addicted to Rapture like his comic counterpart before getting his powers.
Please do an explanation about Ben Reilly aka The Scarlet Spider he was easily one of the best in the film and such a cool character overrall he really differentiates from Peter parker despite being a clone.
i had a question like in across and into the spider verse people from other realities glitch what about tobey andrew and the villians from their respective universes never glicthed in no way home since they have confirmed these to be in relation with ATSV
First thing first you are cute .Anyway you give good info about spiderman 2099 and you have a good way telling the story about spiderman and also a cute way of describing about spiderman and his special features
Can't say for certain - people have theories about the substance, but it wasn't explained in the movie and it has no basis in the comics. Miguel never had to inject himself with anything in the comics, and the rapture he was drugged with was ingested, not injected.

Miguel might be the one doing the intro next movie. Sets up the tone and all.
Yes!!! I’d love that! He really didn’t do his intro in this one, so that would be perfect. I personally loved him and I want more of him.
Maybe he'll say something like "let's start at the beginning, correctly this time" cause he wants everything to go correctly with the canon events
I hope so
I actually hope Prowler Miles does the intro since we left off on him. Miguel was definitely my favorite character tho he was so cool.
He should! I'll come back in a year to check if you're right because this would be such a good intro
I loved how intense and even feral Miguel was in the movie! He's easily my favorite spiderperson
Oscar Issac was perfect for Miguel! Hope he plays him in a live action adaptation some day
I get it, but imagine if me met Moon Knight 😂
@@krisztianunpronounceable I was about to say this
He is like 4 ft in height tho
Oscar Issac wasn't perfect, but he was good. Diego Luna would of been better.

Miguel O'Hara is the Mexican Bruce Wayne of the Spiderverse
pretty much and done very dirty too by his own work place.
Totally
Honestly this may not be true but I think Miguel’s webs ARE organic but are enhanced by his suit, since it can change form and regenerate
I think that too bc in the comics its normal webbing, then again I haven't read any of the modern comics regarding 2099.
I was hoping the video would point this out but why are his webs colored red? And it appears to be glowing too, is it some kind of nanotech?
according to marvel's wiki, this Miguel has no organic webbing, and he never got rid of his addiction for Rapture.

@@ThePlastikChair thats strange bc in the original 92 comic run he does and it looks organic.
@@berniekatzroy yea ik, but miguel in ATSV isn't from the real earth-928, he's from earth 928B.
Before Miles Morales, there was Miguel O'hara as the successor to Peter Parker. I love them both, but Miguel has that special place in my heart.
So happy we got a Mexican spiderman Miguel O'Hara !!!!
Factssss
Oscar crushed it and can't wait to see his arc in Beyond The Spider-Verse.
Miguel is easily the best Spider-Man to date
Spider-Punk is if best
Lol bruh he's on the list but he's not even top five in this franchise let alone of all Spider-Men to date 😂
He will turn out to be a villain. 😂
But I completely agree that he is a great character - which is more to the point.
@@MicahMane what are ur top 5

Miguel was scarier than the spot in the movie 😂
Agreed 💯
I really wish I got to see him use his fangs it would have been both cool and creepy
I was a little disappointed when I didn’t see him use them :’)
Maybe in the next movie!

His accelerated vision and Power of Electricity (Spiderman Shattered Dimensions) are basically what made me fall in love with this OP version of Spidey

At the end of the second series he gets brought back to life by Strange just in time to ring in 2100
Oscar Isaac deserve to play the real life role as Miguel o’hara 😭🔥

Did you see how in the end credits for into the spider verse Miguel’s suit was more comic accurate and he was wearing a prototype of the teleporter
My favorite scene in atsv is when Miguel slams miles
2099 Thor is a robot not the actual Thor
