- Iron Banner is back with a new high impact strand auto rifle, the Lethal Abundance. In this video I want to go over some big interactions with how you can use it. "Lethal" is a really good name for it. It is great in PvP, but honestly, I am WAY more excited about it for PvE. Abundance is a borderline must have at this time to me. Go get one.

The ornaments got me hooked and I never pvp. Did trials this last week to unlock two whole sets bc those trials armor sets are unique and rare but look like silver cost level armor.
Another neat roll is actually Discord/Onslaught. Once you proc discord, you have a bullet hose reminiscent of a long range, strand Huckleberry.
Huckleberry is my favorite gun in the game😊 I know it gets outshined by pretty much everything else but it was my first exotic weapon and it actually slapped at the time

Slice is literally all I need. I do not care what it gets paired with. This AR is the only thing I will spend engrams on and is actually getting me to play PvP for the first time in over a year. It feels amazing, too. Add it to my Sixth Coyote Threaded Specter build and I will be in heaven.

@@failfurby oh just poking some fun at the sixth coyote threaded+ specter, double hatchling grenade build cropping up in pvp. It's the height of tossing as much random bullshit at an enemy as humanly possible and hoping for the best. Annoying as hell to deal with, but really funny to look at
@@nelsongodoy5101 that sounds stupid, especially when whirling maelstrom deals way more damage and can be way more annoying to deal with due to its strong tracking
@@failfurby in Crucible it moves too slow to be meaningful, the threaded specter absorbs damage like a tiny you-shaped barricade, detonates dealing a hefty chunk of damage and leaves threadling you have to backpedal from. It's hard to attack into a threaded specter and if you didn't see it coming you're low enough to kill with minimal gunfire, or a threadling grenade if you take cover.
I lucked out and got Hammer-Forged or Polygonal / Ricochet or Alloy Magazine / Slice / Onslaught / Stability MW on one of my first rolls. Immediate masterwork and lock. It's been really fun to play with so far. I had been viewing it as just the PVE roll, but you're absolutely right that Slice should cook in the Crucible as well.
First I want to say thank you because I have yet to get a slice hatchling roll and you are the first person to verify if the hatchlings can carry the effect. Been hoping for a slice onslaught roll, but I have been mainly getting target lock or collective action on my rolls. I kept an enlightened action target lock roll with 95 range for pve and a keep away onslaught roll with 85-95 range depending on whether I use fluted barrel or extended barrel for pvp. The onslaught roll is the only onslaught roll I have gotten so far, but it felt a lot better than target lock when I used it in iron banner. Still plenty of rolls to chase for it and the other auto rifles.
For strand hunter for PVE using Radiant Dance Machines. Use a slice onslaught or hatchling roll. The strand artifact perks. Use the aspect widows silk for either x2 threadling grenades or shackle grenades. Using Whirling Maelstrom. Radiant dance machines will keep slice perpetually up and be able to debuff targets, and the dodges will keep proccing reaper for orbs. May need multiple reaper mods for even more orb generation and siphon mods as well. The debuffed kills will create tangles that you can use to create whirling maelstroms. It's definitely sounds like a fun build.

I got the slice + onslaught combo yesterday and took it for a couple of runs in Clash. Guy, it cooks. It cooks so hard. First game, over 25 kills with it. Second game, over 18 (mercy).
That Fade (away) Barrage up towards C point was crissssssp. Also, gun looks dope! Great vid as usual.
I got a - polygonal rifling/armor piercing rounds/slice/onslaught with range masterwork quite early on. Love the thing!!!

Landed Slice/Onslaught yesterday, it is absolutely amazing. Wasn't going to do any more Banner this week, but now that they switched it to regular Control I'll definitely be diving back in.

Right after I watched this video I went straight to the tower and focused between 10-14 engrams and got slice onslaught at some poiint. It was ao nice knowing what to look for ahead of time.

Gotten two rolls to drop that I’m super excited to try. One is the Keep Away, TTT and the other is Discord/Hatching for Add Clear paired with Mindspun Invocation and Thread of Ascent.
There’s something about the way some of these new strand weapons can slot in that makes me excited.
i have slice/onslaught with light mag and small bore...took many engrams to get...solid gun.onslaught on these slower rifles is dam good and i do like the sights on this gun and even though mine does not have the greatest stability..something about the gun just lends it to track targets very well..great addition to the game.
I got a god roll randomly, I got slice and onslaught with high cal or accurized. With a stability MW super excited for it!
Best feeling auto rifle ive ever used. Its wild. Tried a few rolls. Ive been trying for slice and onslaught. I got a second keep away target lock that had a few better options.

When I first pulled up the perk pool, my first thought was "welp, gotta make room in my vault" love this AR. Funnily enough my first experience with it was on my precious scars strand Titan... getting kills and healing me and the teammates lol

im SOOOO glad that we have 80 easily obtainable strand auto rifles but only ONE strand bow (y'know, the weapon that USES STRINGS TO FIRE) and it's locked behind a $20 dungeon key

This has basically become the M4 with how common it is in lobbies
It's a clean auto rifle and the free roll of keep away target lock is very good, I like high impact autos these days because the range seems to be very good when you need it to count, I'll be farming for some good rolls of this. Keep away is great on this
It took about 40 tries, but I got a slice onslaught a couple of days ago (ricochet rounds, chambered compensator, and stability masterworked). Watched this to verfiy that it was the way to go! Handling is only at 27, but eh, whatevs. I'll take it.
I have a Dynamic Sway/Onslaught roll with High Caliber Rounds and holy shit is shreds in crucible. I’m looking out for Slice/Onslaught as well with Ricochet but for now, this thing is amazing! I couldn’t believe how fas I dropped people with one stack of Onslaught. Then I realized it goes higher and it felt like I was shooting a 600 rpm High Impact AR! It was just mowing through people!

My current pvp roll has Dynamic Sway/Tap the Trigger with 100 range. Classic perk combo that makes it ridiculously accurate at range.
One of my first drops was DSR/TTT with 99 recoil direction. Absolute laser beam.

I just got 2 of these to drop with Dynamic/Target and Keep Away/Tap which I thought would be pretty good for a high-impact frame. I'll have to gives these a try.

I got the slice/onslaught roll with a range masterwork that I will mess around with later tonight. Lethal's got the misfit/ether doctor model and I'm surely hoping those two return with their devil scopes in the future 🥲
I was able to get Slice + Onslaught on this gun with Corkscrew + Range Masterwork, but the mag was Flared, its not a bad mag option and 95 Range is very nice.
Love the high impacts still have 2 halfdans in the vault that I bust out now and then😁

Totally agree Slice+Onslaught is going to be an excellent "best of both worlds" roll to chase after. I really want Slice+Hatchling too just for the double Strand synergy possibilities. I've been having a blast with DSR+Onslaught in PvP. Hoping to snag a 95-100 range DSR+TTT eventually as well just to see if the crazy consistency elevates it enough for play outside of 6v6. It's great having loot to chase in Iron Banner. Between this and some missing ornaments it has been a blast.
Yup that's my roll... It's nasty with reload dodge on my hunter with dance machines on strand. Whirling tangles for days.
I got super lucky on my 3rd roll and got Slice/Onslaught with 100 range.
I got slice with collective action. Works great because I’m constantly getting tangles so I almost always have the 20% damage buff while also fishing out sever
Picked up a max range Slice+Onslaught roll last night, hot damn is it good! Roll is Fullbore+RR so maybe could be better, but Stability MW helped offset things quite a bit, and just happy to get the perk combination with max range. I'm learning pretty quickly that this weapon really doesn't need the consistency perks to slay out. It's a laser even at 41 stability for me and counterbalance mod seemed to be helpful for tidying up kick. The experience has been illuminating. The archetype still struggles sometimes (especially in SMG range), but while you're in that ~25-40 meter space, it feels a lot more like a scout rifle than an auto rifle. It's born to duel.

fun fact, if you sever a target in crucible, when they die they make a tangle. pair this with collective action and you have a gun that can make tangles AND benefit from using those tangles by goig to 4 head 2 body at 39 a crit. also tangles block res like headstone so have fun with that.

Underrated asf. People talk about the other Autos, but not as much as they should about this one. It’s a beast and can out gun the meta autos at long range. It’s a lazer beam

I used to love the now long ago sunset Ether Doctor back when I started playing in forsaken. So the instant I saw the model on this thing I wanted it. I'm glad it didn't disapoint.
I've got Dynamic Sway/ Onslaught, and it is a beast. I actually feel like I have a decent go-to weapon for PVP that I can be consistent with, I've been top of the board with it all day long.
Yeah, Slice might be better, but I'm happy with the roll I have for now. :D
Slice seems like such a useful perk. Excited to try and get the Slice Hatchling roll for mad Tangle spawning with my Broodweaver
The strand bow from the dungeon with slice and hatchling are great for broodweaver. I’d definitely recommend it

@@boze7180 I'd probably even go as far to say the bow would be the best weapon to pair with Strand synergy as the bow can more consistently 1 tap precision hits (for PvE) allowing easier Hatchling up time imo.

Arbor warden on strand plus the slice perk will straight up win you duels. Still trying to get a slice+onslaught or slice+target lock roll
For some reason I noticed even with 100 recoil direction it still goes up and to the right. I found it easier to control at 88 where the recoil is pointing left, but in game it’s going slightly straight up.
I have a Keep Away/Onslaught version with 90 range and a Tap the Trigger/Dynamic Sway with 92 range, 58 stability. I think I prefer the latter.
As someone who just finally got an almost perfect briar binds (the bad rolls were the only thing that made me not use it more), this weapon will be a much appreciated addition to my collection. Weakened enemies making it easier to kill to trigger onslaught, slice so they do less damage to me, weaken also makes them less mobile and less likely to actively shoot at me, what more could a Voidlock possibly want? (An Unforgiven with Demo Adrenaline Junkie, literally the only Demo roll I do not have, I haven’t even got feeding frenzy/adrenaline Junkie, which I have for all the other second column perks. Did it all solo cuz my friends don’t want too. Sorry for venting)
Another good thing about this auto is, some of the new strand wepons have slice in the second column while the three primaries have it in the first column which pairs well with perks that are only in the fourth column. Oh, there are weapon perks I wouldn't mind seeing like adagio and onslaught to see how that works out

I got 2 slice onslaught both with range MW both with ricochet, slice, onslaught. One with hammer forged one with corkscrew and one with polygonal
Ended up with a Slice/ Onslaught roll but it's a 3 out 5 since the masterwork and barrel options weren't what I wanted for it.

I really want an Enlightened Action/Onslaught roll. Get your increased fire rate from getting kills with massively increased reload speed when it comes time to reload to keep Onslaught going more consistently.
I still feel like this gun is gonna fall behind of Breakneck in PvE because it gets Subsistence/Onslaught, which feels amazing.
I got slice/onslaught it’s nice since on warlock I can just Phoenix dive for instant heal, proc’ing slice

Unrelated, but I finally got my Encore/GT Psi H, and with the new Ballidorse change, the build is nutty….you can 2 burst anything.
I think Saladbin might have gifted me the perfect roll at the end of a match. Corkscrew, Ricochet, Slice, Onslaught, Stability MW. Sure feels good. Already have 250 Crucible kills on it. And I love weapons where the god roll does PVP and PVE both really well.

I straight up have 100 range with 51 stab as well slice and target lock, though if i have onslaught tap or hatchling this will be a complete god roll

Running arrowhead, enlightened with target lock and on paper you would think it's sticky but it's like bullets just aren't registering. Maybe it's my connection but it's highly frustrating hitting your target square in the chest, neck, and face while seeing absolutely zero dmg.
Can we talk about the visible reticle on this gun? It feels like i cant miss💀
