2.8 seconds 0-60 is insane! Remember when the C5 came out and 0-60 times were 4.5 to 5 seconds and that is still very quick!

Hate to break it to you but you don't have Magnetic Selective Ride Control. No wires going to the shock towers in the rear. Mag ride is a great option at < $2K, but this car doesn't have it. Not sure what difference you felt in the suspension when it is not adjustable. ?
