WOW what a difference! the 4K looks so much better. Glad I pre-ordered this one from VS!
Me too!
I am excited. I am a VS Subscriber and I pre-ordered back in March when announced. Just sad I only today got my shipping notification. Won't be able to watch for another week.
Looks good. Pre ordered in the BS HBF sale so just awaiting shipping. Boys are back in town scene on the golf buggies I always liked haha
I discovered Navy Seals because I was a Mr. Big fan back in the day and bought the soundtrack. I figured I should probably rent the movie too.
As much as I hate Clerks and Kevin Smith's brand of humor in general, I have to say this movie was quite a disappointment considering the other iconic films the stars and director were previously responsible for.
I'll probably buy this some day but not until it's on sale and probably not until we have Lewis Teague's more notable masterpiece Collision Course (with Jay Leno & Pat Morita) on some form of HD disc.
When you compare both the bluray and the 4k are you show images from those 2 formats on the same tv?
I'm not showing them from a TV. These are always pulled directly from the 4K and Bluray discs.
You start showing the top & bottom images without which is 4k and so I think the bottom images look better. Then the listing pops up and I start laughing that I liked the blu-ray better then the 4k. But as more images are shown yes I like the 4k better.
Haha well to be fair I did show those 2 shots first the same way I always do with the 4k and bluray, top and bottom. and then zoom in much closer so you can clearly see the damage that was cleaned up from what the bluray had. I thought since I talked about all the black specs, yellow splotches, and the hair on the bluray I didn't need to put 4k and bluray when zoomed in.
@@TwinFlicks Once the video was over I did pick the 4k over the blu-ray. I only seen this movie once in my life on VHS and didn't like it. But I ordered it anyway because VS makes movies I don't like and then wind up liking them because of the great transfers they do.
Navy Seals 4K from Vinegar Syndrome is the best release from Vinegar Syndrome since Road House
Did You See That Twin Flicks Vinegar Syndrome Are Know To Do A Best 4K UHD Release Like This I Want To See More Movies Coming To 4K By Vinegar Syndrome What Film Should Get 4K Release By Vinegar Syndrome Send Me Your Thoughts Twin Flicks
Also Great Video On The Navy Seals 4K Release By Vinegar Syndrome
Ooooooh Navy Seals
Favorite Line From Clerks (1994)
I love when Vinegar Syndrome releases more genre studios films and they always hit!
@@TwinFlicks what film you want to see them release on 4K?
The Rock would be amazing
@@TwinFlicks What Studio Release The Rock?
AMITYVILLE HORROR blows me away. My only VS transfer I didn't like was SOUTHERN COMFORT 4k.
Ok. To my eyes the colours of the blu ray look way better than the overly saturated pics of the 4k release. Most notably the green grass looks horrible on the 4k. Like someone spray painted the whole thing. So sadly a pass for me.
The BD has a magenta look that is associated with older transfers. The UHD looks more like film.
@@ghostviggencould be, but I don't know what that means in regards to my statement? The colours are overly saturated compared to the more natural looking blu ray, filmic look or not. Green looks like its gone to the edge of the colour spectrum. As I said, just my opinion. Yours may differ and this 4k is for you.
@michischwarz the bluray isn't natural. It's dull faded with a magenta hue over it. That's not natural.
I know what you mean but overall the 4k gets the edge.
@@TwinFlicks the 4k seems to have green filter over it and is way to vibrant, that's not filmic either. One of your examples shows a bazooka or whatever in a coffin with what should be black foam. Instead it has a green look. Adding to that the forementioned overly Green grass and trees. So, in the end, as I said, it comes down to taste. It seems you prefer the 4k (as you mostly do), me not so much.
