I'm going to have to try this pattern for the baby hats that I make and donate to my local hospital's nursery and NICU. (I'll just make fewer rounds for the NICU size) Thanks, Glenda, for sharing this pattern.
I tried booties so many times and one would be bigger than the other and I could not understand increasing and decreasing. Your video is excellent. Your voice is perfect for teaching. I finally have bootie pattern I can actually follow along with!! Now I am making hat for baby shower. Thank you so much!!!
If your shoes are different size, though you have the same stitches, try to crochet both soles one right after the other, this will help to get them the same size. Your tension is not always the same. This happened to me, but now all is fine. Good luck
I love your tutorial so much!! What about a tutorial on bigger sizes? Or perhaps an idea of how to make more increases? Thank you so much for teaching and sharing.
Just made my hat. I used 4 weight and G hook. I think my hat came out a little bigger. But I love it! Thank you for your tutorials! You are so easy to follow!❤
Thank you so much for the tutorial, really everything is clear and interesting. I knitted the booties and the hat. But doesn't it bother anyone that the size of the hat is incredibly small? A newborn's head circumference is 33 cm to 37 cm. Most often 35.5 cm. My hat turned out to be 30cm, and when I stretched it out it was 33cm max....
Thank you Glenda for your tutorials on both the booties and hat. I just finished making these for my boyfriend's niece who's having a boy. By any chance would you happen to have a pattern for a newborn cardigan to match?
I love your booties & hats but I do find following your instructions a bit off putting because your are speaking continuously, I get lost in the instructions, also have you ever thought of saying a summary of the stitch repeats for example “ for round 4 we’ll be following the stitch pattern of 1 Sc in the first stitch & 2 Sc in the next stitch so the combination is 1, 2, 1,2, thank you for showing everyone your lovely work.😊
Your voice is so soothing, and sweet. I have learned so much from watching your channel, thank you!
Thank you so much for the bootie and hat tutorials. I love that you speak slowly and give precise instructions.
