- Warning! This recording is very loud! This was recorded during a deadly rainstorm in the Outskirts (SU_A40). I can't remember too well, but this might be the first room I died to rain in back in 2017 even before the streams 😄 .

This video was requested by Wherf42 and Esteban Tomlinson. "Is there any ambiance out there for the heavy rain storm? When the timer runs out." & "Hey, could you upload an hour of death rain ambience? I looked all over RUclips (like, ALL over) and I couldn’t even find the isolated sound, so you’d be the first to do it."
Because this ambience video is so loud, I have decided to put it in a separate playlist to the normal ambience videos.

Sometimes after death by rain I just close eyes and relax, enjoying this ambient. The fact you can't experience rain of this strength in real life makes it even more surreal.

I really wish we could get just the song that plays behind the crushing rain. Still a really cool listen though.
I suppose I could try noise cancelling it, but I have a lot of trouble hearing it (unless it's the humming?). Other people have mentioned it too, however, so there must be something.
I managed to noise cancel the short, looping part, which uses the file shortDeathRainLoop, but now I just hear some gentle water sounds.
@@RainLandSociety huh, maybe it's not an actual song but the noises of water are so loud that they sound like it?
the sound of a church organ is used for the rain to make it seem almost biblical, but there's no song behind it, the organ just adds a constant droning behind the rain itself.
I've always found this ambiance to be extremely relaxing. Sometimes when I died I just closed my eyes and took a nap, listening to this.

Ah, it's a shame I can hear a tiny hiccup in the audio where it doesn't loop seamlessly... This isn't a slight against you though, pretty sure it's just a part of the game.
I noticed it too before recording and it is unfortunately just part of the game's audio, sorry. Some sounds in the game don't loop too well. In this case it would usually not matter too much because you wouldn't stay long in the rain game over screen.

No worries! I just wanted to express my frustrations too and clear it up for anyone who was unsure.
@@RainLandSociety It does matter sadly, you can really hear it and it ruins the otherwise perfect impact of the rain especially if you get stuck somewhere under cover but outside of a shelter early on and it's your first experience, the loop error is easy to hear
I don't really thought that it was a loop error in my first time of playing game, more like an impact of the very loud sound.

I am not exactly sure what you mean. The previous video I made has rain while slugcat is inside of the shelter. In the vanilla game the difference seems to only be a palette change while the rain is active, so it wouldn't be much different to a standard video of the inside of a shelter. I suppose I could make a video of ambience of your favourite shelter if that is what you mean.
