Hyundai Kona Hybrid Review: Efficiency without going full EV.

If you're looking a small crossover that's well suited to city-driving, but you're not quite ready to take the leap into full EV territory, then the Kona Hybrid hits the sweet spot.
There aren't many full-hybrid small SUV crossovers around. There's plenty of conventional, mild hybrids and full EVs but nothing in between for those that need some compact practicality. Unlike mild hybrids, the Kona Hybrid can switch to full-electrification in city motoring. As a result, it competes with the likes of the Toyota CH-R and Kia Niro however, the Kona arguably offers the better value proposition.
Whilst it hasn't garnered as many headlines as the Kona Electric, for most drivers it likely represents a better solution for those not quite ready to go full EV.

I had a hyundai tuscan hated it it had drive by wire? Had a block of metal under the Accelerator pedal hope this doesn't have the same ?

What is the 'smart cruise control' because I don't think that it's adaptive. I know because I just picked up the top spec one and it doesn't have it.

Full spec just means leather seats....
- you get the same horrible hollow hard plastics everywhere inside....the same boring look and feel... and the same low quality finish
- the 18" tires do stable the car and get rid of the wobbly feeling while driving compared to the 16" and in lesser extend to the 17 inch. None of those provide proper feedback from the road though
- the 8 speaker system does provide you with a system that can cope getting over the loud engine noise when going into revs, and the tire noise on low revs with the 18" wheels
- the rear seats still get nothing aside the leather coating
