No. The front armor is better and together with the sideskirts you have over effective 220mm of armor on the upper part of the sides and the middle part can't be penetrated by APHE at all, since they detonate before they can pen the lower hull. Only the bottom of the hull has less protection than the Maus sides with just 148mm when shooting through the roadwheels. So in general it's a better protected and more mobile Maus, with the exception of the reverse gear.
@@garfield850 i dont see why, everybody says the turret was to heavy and that it would havw snapped the transmission in half just give it a bigger transmission like the one on the maus it has a spacious hull so thats got to be feasible in some way
e100 dont have more armor the only part of it whit ticker armor is the upper plate . the lower plate is weaker by a few mm and the side is a lot weaker . the add on armor is not permanent and dont cover the full side like the maus . so you can still get acces to the weak hull armor and kill it . the maus armor is overall better
i like the E100 more but that turret looks SO out of place its a goddamned rectangle atop a curved chassis! Did no one think of the aesthetics? Oh God the Humanity!
