This is an existing dish its a Costa Rican empanada. But they are usually made with one of the stuffings at once and they don’t put condiments on them.
He barely bit into the end of the taco (before possibly reaching any filling) and he's already amazed at how good it tastes, lol! 😁 (But still, I'm sure those tacos did actually come out good, though. Kev is a great cook!👍)

These are tlacoyos! I worked at a latin fusion place and had to make dozens of these everyday. We'd stuff them with potato and achiote marinated lamb shoulder.
They look amazing. I would suggest yo to make a salsa with boiled tomato, onion, some coriander and a few peppers for extra flavor; add some shredded lettuce to your empanadas and yo basically have a complete meal.

Hey Kev, these are called empanadas in Colombia en Venezuela. We make them with corn instead of wheat. You accidentally made a national Venezuelan dish here, except for the crema. Look for empanada de pabellón venezolano if you wanna learn more about them

Hey kevmo just warm your corn tortillas up and put them under a rag for warmness … so when you pan is full of oil and hot and ready .. FOLD MEAT AND TORTILLAS LIKE TACO then put them to the pan with hot oil and Bam !!!hard shell taco 🌮 ONE LOVE ❤
