Hey Ed Elvis at Stax Collection is a Good One theres certainly not a Shortage of Elvis Music to be Had , Good addition to any collection ,thanks for Sharing take care Rock on Peace
Nearly finished listening to the Back In Nashville 4 CD set and must say I am so impressed with this release and how good the 71 session is presented in this way! I have the Stax set and can’t remember being blown away the same by the sound as I am with recent box releases. I’ll have to re-listen soon. Now what do you think they will do in 2023? Release the Stax sessions again like the Nashville session ?
The sound quality of this set and all the recent Sony/Legacy Elvis releases (Jungle Room, Nashville stuff, etc) sound so good. Even better than FTD in my opinion.
At least the sound has improved tremendously !!!! Because I purchased the Promised Land album when originally released during Elvis’ lifetime and although I love the entire album I thought that the sound was horrible ! Now in 2022 I’m enjoying Elvis with improved sound !
I have that set as well. Great quality and cool booklet included with the CD’s. I really enjoy the Newbury Comics vinyl release. Unfortunately mine arrived scratched but doesn’t affect the sound quality.
Very nice my friend i still need to get the cd set i do have the lp set one one black vinyl and the color split vinyl ...great video and i made a video of that black and gold vinyl on my music video.
I bought "Elvis At Stax" the week that it was released. As much as I enjoy it, it wasn't anything new: It's basically the 1998 "Rhythm & Country" collection and remasters of the three albums that resulted from the '73 Memphis/Stax sessions. I didn't realize before today that every track was remixed.
Yea so many elvis albums are put together from other albums, I don't buy much now last ones elvis in Nashville I think its the name and elvis live 1969
aha, now i know why he does not work at Sony Music anymore, he gave you too many promos and test pressings... no, no, no, just kiddin'... 🤣🤣 .... seriously, though, i just wanted to say i bought this box set back in 2013 when it first came out, and i'm glad i did... these limited edition releases tend to end up very expensive, if they are not continued by Legacy... but then they wouldn't be limited... 2013 was after all the 40th anniversary of the Stax sessions... 💚👍
For me Elvis At Stax Double LP is the best Elvis record out of the 70th material. Cause it has some good funk´n´soul stuff on it and it`s not as greasy as the other records. The record is a logical consequence out of Rock`n`Roll to Soul Music these days and of course the dirty swamp sound of Tony Joe White.
*@THE KING'S...😍🎼🎁🎼🎁Parabéns pelo maravilhoso vídeo! Thank You so much Bjs!🎁🥰🎁ELVIS FOREVER KING MAGNÍFICO! Amooo!😍💐😍👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻*
Elvis , The Best !

I love watching these
I have and love the single cd of the STAX recordings. Waited to long and missed the box set would love to get a copy at a good price.
I feel the same way, unfortunately.
But the single CD is very good. I love this CD too.
Thank you so much

I enjoyed that set . I picked it up the week it was released . It’s been a bit since I’ve given it a listen. Now, I’ve got to dig it out 🙂.
