Cant believe this is your first video. All the scenes, well planned, filmed, driving scenes, B-roll and everything. Feels like I'm watching a tv show. Keep it up :)
No way! this is my old car... 'Hero', i was the person who sold it Alex on Collecting Cars! Feel free to get in touch if you need more info on the car. Bryan
Cool, hope you enjoy following its progress since it passed from Alex to me. It will now be our channel camera car and general runner. Still lots of plans for it too. It would interesting to know how it was spec’d from factory. Do you have a build sheet or dealer invoice with options? Thanks.
@@TheRoadWorriers All the paperwork I handed across to Alex, but if you put the Vin into a BMW vin decoder website, then you can bring up the original build sheet. This car was pretty special as it was spec'd with M-sport suspension and other Sport bits including the 'twist' side skirts. I actually bought it from Facebook marketplace from a lady who had cherished it for many years. Might be good to get together because i own another e36 328i manual coupe in black that i am pondering what to do with. It needs some love so your channel is inspiring me!.
Ahh thanks Bryan that’s useful, I gleaned most of that from the collecting cars advert and Alex’s. Also, the history all sort of points to that. Only mystery is the twist sideskirts which have gone. Other M sport bits remain to this day. They’re old cars now and need a bit of care and attention. They seem to be kept in service by quite a few people though. If you know, you know I guess. More episodes coming on it soon. Yes, keep in touch and we could certainly meet. Funny it was maintained at Gilbert’s mainly in her ownership? I know that well. my family has always liked Saabs and one of them came from there and I used to live in Ealing! I think it was also purchased in Hampshire originally…so it has returned to its roots.
Looking great and it drives smooth, hope it serves you well.
Nice put together video I’ve recently bought a E30 316 coupe that I’m wanting to put a 2.8 engine in her
You must have seen the Spanner Rash channel right? He’s just done that with a full series of comprehensive videos @spannerrash.
