Those prices are crazy! I'm in the Caribbean and I bought a full gearbox swap for 300 pounds and bought the throwout, pilot, pivot pin, and fork retrainer from ecstuning, and buying shifter bushings from garagistic. Everything under like $600-800 usd lol

Yeah Australia is a bit expensive, supply and demand 😑 still wouldn’t have it any other way, I love the e36 😎

Great breakdown! I'm planning on swapping my e36 in the future, as for prices it's pretty spot on with the california market 😅

You could almost get two whole road legal e36 for that price in Finland. Those parts would cost 500€ used including new clutch set. Used Getrag with shifter assembly 50e, used whole driveshaft 50e, used stock or new short shifter and new bushings 50-80e, used pedal and clutch cylinder 30e. And everything else would fit in the 500€

Yeah wow, I am very jealous! Australia is pretty expensive however, its still one of the cheapest good drift chassis to get into over here

Would a pedal assembly out of a e46 and the front half of the driveshaft fit?

Hey mate, to my knowledge no it would need to be one out of an e36 :(

I have been working on my e36 manual swap and I have all the correct parts but when it comes to slide the trans in I am left with at 1/2 inch gap do you know from what it could possibly be

Hey mate, not sure if this is too late but maybe check to see you have pushed the pilot bearing in further enough? Good luck!

Depending on where you are in the world have a look at a gs6-37dz swap, 6 speed and as strong as a zf. I may or may not have a series coming out on the swap soon 🤫
