Y'all should pay him a lil extra to do a voiceover narration in French for the non English speaking crowd & to help spread your content to new audiences.
Really cool seeing this. I have a jdm market 323 also in the states. Sourced most of my parts so far. But had no idea the wiring would be different. That’ll come in handy for sure when I go to swap it!
Nice zf🔥 Just cleaned out my old storage unit that had 2 sitting in there since 07 with less than 50k miles. Not nearly that nice though. Dont even know why im holding on to them. Been running a faceplated tremec for 15 years now.😂
you guys should placed brass clutch pedal and brake pedal bushings when the assembly was out. You can see the slop in the clutch pedal when you were pushing it with your hand. Also when the trans was out a dssr selector rod should have been placed, as the oem one has too much slop.
How much did this cost pertaining to parts needed? And how much would an indy shop charge me for a manual swap? I have an e36 m3 automatic I’d like to manual swap.
@@DriftHQ Awesome! I enjoyed the narration over the cinematics since it was a more how to type video, gave me Taylor Ray/ old man's garage vibes! Good to switch it up sometimes too, gets me excited too since I'll be manual swapping my e46 very very soon, have been sitting on the parts to do it for months now.
@@DriftHQ then na, I’ll stick to the OEM one then. I got the subframe and diff a long time ago when I kissed the curb. Turns out you can weld those parts too, the parts I messed up.
I have a JDM 325i in the states and have found practically no resources for any differences, this is awesome to find, thanks!
Thats a great jdm bmw to start a build with. 😮
Its clean for sure!
Just made the weekend awesome!!! Amazing content, as always.
Great to hear! 🙏
Thank you

Nice voiceover as well.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏

Hey there. Nice video.
How do you clean the solenoid valve (1-5) errors from the AT to appear in the OBD scanner? Thanks.
thank you for actually explaining the wiring

did you ever end up removing the starter? watched a couple videos as im planning to do this with mine. I have a 1998 328i
Exactly what clutch kit ? I’m gathering parts for my 96 328i swap! Just in time vid! 4:22
if its stock clutch in video then it different to 328i because 323i comes with 228mm clutch and 328i comes with 240mm clutch
Sachs OEM clutch. Off FCP Euro
What was the total cost of the swap?
I like the change up, different editor and such?
Thank you! Still me. Just trying different styles. Also helps that I love E36 stuff - Joel

How much do you charge to do this on e36 m3 with main parts provided?
We don't work on customer cars
Where you weld the 2 reverse wires ?
Exciting
🤩
Is the color Daytona violet? Color looks amazing!!
Mora metallic, thanks!
Do you have modification to do in term of wiring or the car just start ?

Love it, where is this location I just want swap my e36 and how much they cost? Please!
We do not do public work. Any reputable shop should be able to do this!
Ok thanks!
3.08 diff, I got one a while back with a subframe. I was wondering if it’s worth swapping with an e92 n54 stock ratios.
It's a longer diff than what's in there. Would be more economical and sluggish if you go down.

Is this similar to an E30 manual swap?
Yes the fundamentals are all there
Im From Germany i have e36 328i butt automatic i also Swap Plan next Month😁
The auto diff would have been better unless their new one is lsd. The auto diff is higher ratio so it would improve the drivability of the 323.
I'm over here having swapped my E46 with a ZF 5 speed and now want to go back to an 8hp auto 😅
🤔 times have changed haha 😅
Adam’s s50 in his blue car would be perfect for this newly manuel swapped e36.
That would be a WILD swap
Where do the remove light wires go to?
You meant Reverse? They go to the side of the new transmission
You guys should Xi swap an e30 and make a safari contender for Adam!
Safari build would be great
I'm from the Caribbean so this is a BMW with the steering wheel on the right side
Needed this video I’m doing a s54/manual swap on my e36m3 vert ❤❤🙏🙏
Glad we could help👊
Did u have to re-upload this?
This is the only time it's been uploaded
Whats happend whit the beaters ?
Broken somewhere haha
Manual swap in less than a day is insane
Very straightforward when you have all the parts!
As a Canadian e36 owner, the rust is real out here lmao
Interesting stuff 🤔
Thank you!
No need for coding?
Nope!
ah man ive been watching this for hours but im its only 10 mins in
