    Please how did you increase it sensitivity of the TTP223

    • @amberelferink
      @amberelferink Год назад +2

      Thanks a lot for figuring out the sensor number. I was searching for that. If you Google "increase sensitivity TTP223" you will find a page on doing this including images from "mytechtutor". In summary:
      Sensitivity can adjust by adding a capacitor to two outputs on the board, the value of the capacitor ranges from 0 to 50 pF, where 0pF gives the full sensitivity and 50pF will give the lowest sensitivity. With this, you can make it go through glass, acrylic, and apparently wood.
      I found another diagram from "techtatronic" explaining the internal schematics of a slightly different type, but the same IC. So the touchpad itself is attached via a single wire next to the input port, which is next to the capacitor sensitivity pad. So, I think you can connect the capacitor pads to get 0 capacitance, then attach a single wire from this going to a coil as he does in the video, to increase the reach even further.

      @@amberelferink Hello did you figure out the fading effect which doesnt seem to be possible by using the ttp223 directly

    • @amberelferink
      @amberelferink Год назад +1

      I think it is similar to how you can let any led stay on a bit longer before fading out. With a single led you can add a 1000uF capacitor across it (so one side of the Capacitor on the plus foot and the other on the minus foot / the other side of the resistor if there is one). That acts like a tiny battery and will cause this effect. For using this with more leds or less/more time to fade, just vary the capacitance.
