The combustion engine is an engineering marvel. It's so complex, so many moving parts working simultaneously. It's not something you think about while you're driving but it's always there working behind the scenes getting you from point a to point b.
If only it had greater then 20-30 percent efficiency, it would be quite an even bigger achievement in my opinion. Sadly we're not there yet, and I'm not sure we'll ever be, or at least with traditional pistons.
Only few RUclips channels make learning interesting and enthralling. This channel is one of the few. Thanks to the team that work so hard on animations and content.
Without a doubt, the best animation I have ever seen in a tech video. Just incredible!.. And the explanation is amazing as well. Even a complete layman can understand the concept. Brilliant job!👌 Keep posting.👍
Thomas your videos have the best and the most innovative animations ive ever seen . It makes the video much more easier to understand at the same time it is just very beautiful to see . Keep up the good work my friend .
excellent, extraordinary, anybody can perfectly learn the concept from this video, this is one of the most underrated educational video on youtube, Please , please keep making more videos related to marine engines, starting air system, ship auxilliary systems,ic engines etc
This is simply excellent 👍🏻🙌🏻and extraordinary, average students like me can also understand perfectly,🔥🔥 Please keep making more content on engines and it would be great if this channel taught about marine engines and auxillary systems onboard ships
Yathu prem : yes it's hot, but it's cooler than the surfaces it's being splashed onto, so it helps cool them. Typically the piston head bottoms, the connecting rods, and the cylinder walls get some oil. Each engine design is different, so check with your manufacturers specifications for details
Your videos are amazing learning tools please keep it up and allow us backyard mechanics a inside view of the vast universe of mechanics.. again thanks thom..
This makes sense, thank you. This further shows me how important it is to keep your oil viscosity in the correct range and not let the oil become a sludge. I've always changed mine a tad early or had the oil tested to see how far I could still go.
Great video.. love it.. a question, so during a normal oil change when we open the bolt in the oil pan.. there s always some old oil left in the system, oil galleries and engine parts.. is it?
Ринат Царбаев Be careful saying you are from Russia 🇷🇺 You might get a subpoena from Mueller to appear in court for "stealing" the elections from democrats! 😂

Top notch animation.. And quality stuffs. Good job mate. So in splash lubrication the crank is splashing relatively hot oil into the cylinders ??
