Then when he came back stated he was in the shower when it "suddenly struck" him. That of course being code for "I went online and looked it up". Lying to his fans as usual. Also, just before the final Joker confrontation, he goes all the way around the island b/c he didn't notice or remember the doorway right beside the locked gate at 1:03:33 that he has already used many times.

This was the game that restored the people's faith in Batman, because literally before Asylum, nobody thought there'd be a good Batman game ever. But Arkham Asylum came along, with both the late, great, legends themselves Kevin Conroy, and Mark Hamill, reprise their roles as Batman and The Joker, and give us something that most of us thought that we would NEVER see. Well, I was almost beginning to think that something awesome like Asylum would've had to have come along, eventually, but this quickly? And have it be so amazing, that kick-started the best Batman games, (except maybe Arkham Knight, and Origins wasn't great, but Troy Baker's Joker was pretty good). But Arkham Asylum is still a great game. But I wish I could go back and play Arkham City too...I can go either way on Arkham Knight, but I just wanted to go back and play Asylum and City again...they're the 2 best Batman games. Especially City.

It's baffling. I beat all 4 Arkham games so when Spiderman PS4 came out I played it on the hardest difficulty from the getgo with no problems. Phil also played all 4 Arkham games, and still played Spiderman on normal and sucked at the combat.
The thing I can't stand the most about his arkham playthroughs is his extremely poor skill in the combat. All he does is just mash the attack button and once in a while the counter button. He very rarely racks up a high enough combo to do special moves (which is pathetic cause you only need 8 or 5 depending if you upgrade) because he doesn't use rhythm to his attacks or use any gadgets to stun enemies and open up opportunities for attack, then calls the combat simplistic, when it can actually be very complex when you do it correctly. I'd know since its very easy for me to get over 100 hits in a combo given enough enemies.
100-hit combo? Nice! I've only been able to pull off a 53-hit combo (in Arkham City, anyway), but even that's better than anything DSP did in the Arkham series.

Dsp's RUclips career is very similar to Star Wars as I can see. 2009 was phantom menace and attack of the clones, 2010 was ROTS, 2011-12 was a new hope, and 2013-present is The empire strikes back. There is no conclusion to his career. I feel like dsp will lose his partnership with machinima though, when that happens and he becomes homeless, I'm expecting KG to take his place and start a patreon for dsp to resurface.
