A: We've definitely seen social media. If you remember Hearthstone, when it was announced people reacted in a similar way to the way people are reacting to Immortal now. We still have things in development for the PC side of things. We know mobile is a thing and it isn't everyone's thing.

A: We would like to think that the game is target first and foremost to our core audience of Diablo players, and of course we would like to be able to capture new players in new regions as the game comes out.

Niewy - did they really compare it to Hearthstone? I just went and looked up announcement videos for Hearthstone published in 2013 and they have overwhelming thumbs up. Like check out the official 2013 Hearthstone trailer video "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Cinematic", it has 10k upvotes and 744 downvotes. So well over 90% of people liked it. In fact everyone I knew was eager to play that game, and they did, and it was a success. So what are Bliz talking about?? Like okay I get it, they want to convince us that it's not a bad idea to make this game, but they don't have to gaslight us to do so. Everyone knows this was the worst received announcement Bliz has ever done.

My brother was a die hard Diablo PC fan. He played the Diablo games incessantly, sure he bitched about 3 alot but he still bought and played it. Every year without fail, he would attend Blizzcon and would always come back with a big silly grin on his face. The year when this was announced, the whole family noticed a strange darkness around him. He never spoke of what happened, he suddenly seemed to have lost all joy and felt like a completely different person. 2 weeks later, he shot himself and died in the garage. It has been 2 years and I still miss him very much.

Blizzard (tried to) delete all negative comments on this video, even manipulated like/dislike ratio multiple times on release.
They tried selling this game as a "fully fletched diablo experience" at their ShitCon event.
They manipulate their appstore rating, 1star reviews getting deleted or shown as 5star reviews.
They "apologized" about the Blitzchung controversy, but still stole his money, banned him from esports, and fired the 2 casters involved.
