Alright, thanks for the infos.. I’m lacking as well copy & paste image, and my touch screen sensitivity becomes less sensitive 😞😞 I hope Apple will fix it..
I have problems with the whole iCloud photo system-I have 34,000 photos and would prefer to now store original versions on my 1TB iPad Pro (or on my Windows PC). But you need to research and study such functionality and I dislike wasting time on such things. The.unpleasant thing on my iPhone Pro Max under iOS 16 was the multiple home and lock screen features, which removed perspective movement without an hour or more of careful experimentation with each bitmap, its cropping its positioning and its settings. It’s crazy when “new features” require so much unpleasant effort to get back what was enjoyable and just there by default previously…
Now only add Lock Screen customisation, UI accent colors in settings, multiple user profiles (since those ancient computers somehow had it) and we have an update. Also making Universal Control compatible between iDevices without a Mac would be nice in 16.2.

If it’s not an option to add, then check that you have upgraded to 16.1 (settings > general > software update) and that your device is compatible.

Finger selection has been intermittent and/or just not there outside of stage manager. Maybe two different issues of course. I’ve also seen other bugs described as iOS 16.1/iPadOS specific that I’ve also seen on other releases.
I would like to see more potential for the iPad to integrate coding. The shortcuts app is still hopeless in my opinion. I am longing for swift (playgrounds) to improve so that os.system style scripts could be run - i.e. creating/editing files with integration with the files app and even basic mathematical, programming functionality.
Anyone facing issues with 4 finger pinch to homescreen? After the update, it’s not registering 4 out of 5 times~ very frustrating as it might be the most used gesture.
So yeah, IPAD OS 16.1 broke monitor to display mirroring through an HDMI cable. So instead of getting the monitor support Apple has been promising for four months, I now have a blank screen. There is a difference between not shipping a new feature and removing a feature that I used every day for work. My home monitor is now worthless until Tim Cook and company get their crap together.
