Unlike a few persons outside Cambodia trying to make negative propaganda against Cambodia’s development. This is to prevent this used-to-be a war-torn country to develop properly. So, please enjoy your trip again in Phnom Penh and I suggest you ride a river boat at Norea Island to enjoy sunset in Phnom Penh tomorrow and then recommended sky bars like La vida sky bar, Celeste sky bar, etc to see Phnom Penh at night.

No worries. This hotel in low season for my room including breakfast was 115usd per night. But I’m not staying there anymore. I’m now in a hotel of 20usd. Nice enough with pool and gym though, not so luxurious.
Stayed 4 nights at Phnom Penh recently at the beginning of this month (September 2024). Yeah, allow at least an hour to get between the city and the airport. 1.30 hours during rush hour. Instead of filling out an arrivals/immigration card during your flight now they have you fill in your details at small touch-screen pads after you land in the terminal before you go through immigration. You can get an eVisa online weeks before your flight to take advantage of the smaller queues at immigration for those arriving with this type of visa. My hotel arranged an airconditioned taxi pickup for USD14.00. My hotel with huge spacious rooms was a bit cheaper than Tribe (breakfast not included) and was right on the water with amazing views with no big tower buildings blocking your view. My hotel also had a rooftop bar that opens from 5pm with a "happy 3 hours". I recommend Tatie's Phnom Penh for breakfast run by three French women and with a delicious breakfast menu that'll be better and less expensive than your hotel breakfast. You might like to try Pépé Bistro for lunch or dinner that's straight across the road from Tatie's.

Hi there great video very informative. I'm going there in less than 4 weeks & for the very first time so obviously excited. Just want to say two things this is your third trip there but was unprepared meaning you hadn't done your visa . I was surprised by this. I've done mine as this is not something I didn't wanted to deal with when I got there also I may not be permitted entry I mean thongs do go wrong. And the other thing you mentioned catching a taxi not a tuk tuk from the airport but where I'm confused is wasn't you riding in a tuk tuk. Thanks
Thanks for watching :) It's only cost 30 USD when get it on arrival and especially now with the new system it only takes under 10 minutes to get your visa. I've explained why I mentioned you might rather getting a taxi especially during rush hour. Sorry, I understand why that was not clear. It is because during rush hour you driving in slow traffic and breading in all the fumes🙏 if there are any questions just let me know. You're gonna have a great time Gary ;)

Coming to Australia you already have to have a tourist visa not something you do then & there so thought it was odd you can do it after you arrive. Just one question please I'm concerned about mosquitos. Did you find them to be a problem there? Or more so in siem reap?thanks
Gotcha. Yeah they can be an issue. It’s possible to get Dengue fever but the chances are quite small. I’d just bring misquote spray with you wherever you go and you’ll be fine. I just find them annoying 😅

Thanks for the view of Phnom Penh. The nighttime riverside restaurant looked great. Reminds of of the Iron Bridge Restaurant in our home town of Chiang Mai, on the banks of the Ping River. Have you eaten there? I may have the name wrong. We always just call if the Iron Bridge restaurant as it is right next to it on the east side of the river, near the Duke's on the same street.
