I appreciate it. I definitely notice a jump in demand based off the forums. I think sometimes people just don’t appreciate something until it is gone. Thanks for watching as well.
I had a blue 17 1SS 1LE 6 speed. I loved that car. I plan on getting a ZL1 here within the next few months. You may want to get some rock guards to limit the amount of rocks that the front tires throw towards the door and rear.
You will love the ZL1! I have ZL1 Rock guards on both front and rear. I just didn’t highlight it in this video. I also have a Roto-fab intake, MPI, Inc. Supercharger lid, and LED front and rear side markers. Thanks for watching as well and love to hear back on the ZL1.
I appreciate it. Thanks for the feedback as well. I’m looking forward to your next video as well. Anyone reading the comments, please check out his channel as well. Great content.
I used to have a black Zl1 1lE going from charger hellcat to that the ride might not be smooth but handles amazing compared to the charger. I put 345/30/19 in the rear beefy tires. I miss it
I went from a lowered Challenger Scat Pack on Eibach springs and it didn’t really change the stiffness for me. I guess I was use to it. Yes, it most definitely handles and sound awesome. The Hemi had a great sound as well with mid muffler delete. My favorite is switching from the ZF automatic transmission to 6 speed manual so that I can hold the gears longer. What a different driving experience. Thanks for watching as well!
It’s definitely an elegant color for sure. I think they made the most cars in that shade in 2019. They discontinued the color in 2023. It will not be carried over into 2024. I highly recommend it. Thanks for watching as well.
Good question. I’ve been putting carpet under the tires for years. It’s known to stop flat spotting when the car sits for extended time. Carpet under the tires is also to stop staining the cement where the car sits.
nice video..ive had my 19 z06 4 a year now..love it!!!!why doent any-1 ever bring up why the corvette has a 7 speed n the camaro..a 6 speed????you said you liked the 6 speed better..why????mine clunks in2 gear some times..does yours???
Better EPA ratings. The C7 technically has two overdrives (6 & 7) and the Camaro just has one. The Corvette gets better gas mileage. It allows the seven speed to get by without the gas guzzler tax. Yes, the 7th gear is overkill and easily missed when shifting. 6th gear is fine for highway cruising. It’s just awkward to have that many gears. The reason it clunks into 2nd gear is the 1 to 3 gear eco function. If I’m cruising, I just shift into 3rd. If not, rev past 3500 or so, it should go into gear smoothly. TY as well for watching and the great question.
Lol, I always put Mercedes as the gold standard for luxury. I owned a BMW E46 M3 that never rattled. It was solid. I wouldn’t sell the car because of it, but it does get frustrating sometimes. Thanks for watching!
@@4JaayTv no, A class. I do have a Pilot and Highlander and neither one rattles. However, neither one is as fun as the ZL1 or the ZO6. So, I will take the positives over the negatives.
@@thecarpergarage916 thanks for the reply, I am getting a lambo sometime next year, but want a fun daily, now i've narrowed it down to a c7 z06 or a f82 m4 if you've driven one of those.
@@MarchedYeti96 No problem! Thanks for watching. I hope you stick around. I haven’t owned a new BMW in awhile. However, I did own a E46 M3 Convertible back In the day. I loved it. Keep it to about 74,000 miles and sold it before repairs were needed.
I had PS4 on it so a little different than stock, but it’s firm on bumps. I think stock tires are worse. However, that would not stop me from purchasing the car at all. All the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Best all around, well balanced for sure.
What a beautiful car, GM is absolutely making a mistake getting rid of the model. The LT4 and tremmec are gems...
Thank you! I totally agree.
Hopefully, they will bring back a better Camaro with an updated v8.
Yep same goes for the challenger and charger. I don’t like ford or the mustang myself but at least they understand their customers.
@@thecarpergarage916we sure can hope. My concern is if we are lucky enough to get a V8 the car itself could very well be hideous.

Wheels should be torqued to 150 lb-ft BTW
Thanks! I appreciate it.
I think we both are off on the wheel torque. The manual indicated 140, so retorqued them to 140 since the video.
