I should have explained in the video.....the trailer that was blown over did not belong to Mr. Beggs and he did not place the trailer there. This was a rental trailer and the rental company placed the trailer. I had lifted a different trailer for Mr. Beggs twice in the past and after the second time he had us reposition that trailer East-West just like the final location of the trailer in this video. Thanks for watching and God bless.
In the beginning I had a feeling he did not own it until you never said who did and he wanted it placed in the gravel had me thinking who owned it this cleared it up thank you
Ron Pratt I agree with you on not having the 2 snatch blocks rubbing against each other 1 cause it lets he block pivot and 2 it reduces the chances of the cables rubbing against each other causing a flat spot in the cables that can weaken the strength of the line
"I've still got a few more tricks" Ron I'm pretty sure you could write a book with all the tricks you have. You're a tow master a cable sensi. Keep up the good work brother
Awesome job David is a good asset to your team I wish him very well and God bless you all Awesome watching your videos and thank you for all the messages that you have sent me back it makes me feel like I am part of your family
My wife does not understand why I stay up late to watch you work. I don't know how to explain how cool it is to watch a true professional perform their craft. Thanks for being that pro, Ron.
Yes once you watch one al the way through she’ll ant to see more because yo want to see it to the end and that’s why you stay up late it’s fascinating and Ron is the very best
One of my sons drives a tractor trailer and I enjoy 😊 watching the videos. It is amazing and good to know that God is always watching over all of us. Keep up the good work.
Completing a job more than is expected of you and cleaning up a mess you didn’t make even though it might take you a little longer are signs of integrity, honesty and character. Thank you for your great example!
Ron, I thoroughly enjoy watch you in these videos. I am a retired engineer and I marvel how you set things up according to the circumstances. I am also impressed with your calm demeanor no matter the circumstances, very refreshing! Keep up the good work, and God bless.
All around great job on gettiing the trailer flipped around and backed in for the customer.I know he appreciated your offer to fill the holes in. He sure looked satisfied. Job well done!
I Pray that anyone who was injured in the strom has a full recovery. Hope that you and your family and all the employees are staying safe from the virus that is here in our country. Stay safe. Your a great person Mr. Pratt
You're a good man David, you'red thinking ahead and seeing potential problems and solutions. Keep asking the questions and learn from the master, you will go far 👍
An enormous THANK YOU to all RUclips content creators for providing all of us with additional content during this very trying time! I can only speak for myself when I say you are helping me retain what little sanity I have left having been sheltered in place for the last 2 1/2 weeks!!
Nothing better than ice cream after a crazy lift, spin, and moving a very old and rickety trailer. David is doing excellent, and can't wait to see him in more vids helping. :) God bless and keep the whole family safe in this crazy time.
Looks like Dave is a hard working hand, sharp and intuitive. Takes your directions with no issues and foresees possible problems. Great hire Ron! Keep him on the payroll.
Hey Ron, I’m watching this video a bit late as you can see, but I live within daily driving distance of Nashville, thankfully nobody I know was personally injured, but some friends did have loved ones get affected. Really does prove the dangers of storms, especially ones at night and tornado producers. Be safe out there and we have regained ourselves well.
Ron I've watched all your videos almost since your channel started and its really mind boggling how you make these recoveries look so easy and professionally done, i'm just a driver but be safe out there and well wishes to you, your guys and family
Sir, "Just a driver", is not exactly true. You drive, yes. Then add a safe driver, a law abiding citizen, honest, thinking ahead to solve work problems, doing long hours, being courteous as a driver and not hard headed. How do I know? You watch Ron.
Ron, you did a tremendous job with explaining things to your new employee. I hope he works out and becomes a long time employee of yours and I hope to see more videos with you and David working together. 🙂
Flyerbob - Mr Ron Pratt is indeed the best of the best! 'In all his freetime' (pun intended), he could certainly write the manual re how to be the best on-the-road. A total pro and a true gentleman.
This is truly ASMR for old wrecker drivers!😁👍 I pulled for AAA in Fla. back in the 1980's, and we could only dream of having nice automated equipment like this. I ran an old Ford with a Holmes 550 double-boom, and although it wasn't capable of righting semi-trailers, we did pull some fairly large buses out of muddy, sandy situations!😉 You guys plan well and execute your moves well, and you know the limits of your equipment, and that's vital in moving extremely heavy objects safely. Hope you're all staying healthy with all this virus crap going on.😷 Great video, thanks for posting!😉 🚛💪👍👍
I see David as a future operator. He has the unique ability to listen to instructions, and then do as instructed, the first time. Good job Ron and David!
Ron, this "kid" has a lot going for him: Eager, ask questions, listens, put things back where they should and, like you said, even knows how to use a ciment block...Oh and he has a great teacher. Good people attract good people. It makes all the difference in the world. God bless you, your family and friends. Stay safe always, but especially in these difficult times.
Hello Ron and greetings from North Berwick Scotland, just watched the video and it was safely done as always. Impressed with David's attitude at being proactive and willing to learn from such a professional as you Ron. You both deserved that ice cream. Best wishes and continue to work safe.☺
Ron, I made my living behind a steering wheel for 50 years. I could not have done a better job of backing that rig. Excellent job! Your videos make my day.
Nice teacher Ron. And David is a good learner. Quick learner too. With your guidance one csn see he will become a good recover. Stay safe Ron and GOD BLESS you and your family.
Ron out here in Australia my nephew is a towie (mostly the light stuff) I got him on your videos and he reckons you have taught him a lot. Thankyou for making his easier and safer
This is about the 10 or 12 video of yours that I've watched . Always an enjoyment to watch . That is one amazing truck you have . Keep the videos coming and thank you .
Thank you for the great work you do in sharing your towing adventures with us. Ron, you, your family and you team: please stay safe and healthy in these trying times.
Thanks again Ron for the incredibly informative video of the trailer recovery. Growing up through the third grade I lived across the street from a family named Pratt. Mrs. Pratt drove her son Butchie and I to school when the weather made it dangerous to walk the twelve blocks to our elementary school. The school was Park Knoll Elementary St. Loius Park, MN. Thanks again and keep them coming as we work through this plague.
Another good video Ron looks like David is going to be a good man to have on the Midwest crew and he will learn a lot from you, hope you and your family and the Midwest crew are staying safe during this virus
Ron, If you get a lot of jobs with ground damage like this one, (and I've seen a few that you've had) maybe you might think of adding a skid steer to your vehicles/tools. You would find it useful to repair ground damage, clean up burned vehicles, level the gravel in your lot, and other uses. You can easily transport it on one of your rollbacks. (I would suggest a tracked and not a wheeled skid steer.) Stay Safe.
Everything done move by move, as you always do. Another successful recovery very well done. Thank you for sharing. God's richest Blessings on Mr. Pratt, Midwest Truck and David. Stay safe and well.
I watched this last night when I was at work; very impressive. An idea I thought of (million dollar idea that possibly someone has already done) is to build either a set of "extra large feet" for the landing gear that has the steel beveled up on all sides so when a trailer has to get pulled from the side in this manner the landing gear does not act like a furrow and dig a trench and it would "skate across" whatever ground the trailer is on.......
Isn't it a joy to work with someone like David who is a 'quick study'? In my career, I've had only 2 of many who wre quick studies. In fact, I asked one if she had worked at a place like ours before. She hadn't, she just learnedd quickly. So nice.
Ron I don't know if you'll read this but a trick I learned from being over the road is is the rubber is dry and wore out and won't seal good take a tiny bit of axle grease and put it on the rubber then connect the glad hands it will seal it
I love looking at a master equipment operator perform his duties to perfection. Oh that’s a man named Ron Pratt and his loyal study David. Job well done Gentleman!!!
David seems like he will work out fine. I don't think I heard you tell him more than once to do something. And he seemed to be listening/observing/learning. Good job! Stay safe!
I enjoy watching you work. Brings back so many memories. I was never "Officially" H8 qualified but that didn't stop them from sending my 4th point of contact out to recover equipment. After we got the new FMTV Wrecker simple hook and book jobs became all day affairs. They just didn't have the same muscle the 900 Series did. At least with the 900 we could flip a Hummer with the boom over the side.
Ron you and all the crew please be careful during this time with this virus yes the new guy David is a quick learner that is a great thing God bless all of the people
Brother Ron, I’m an old man that doesn’t do much any more other than keeping up with the yard work, and watching You Tube videos, especially during this virus situation. Just wanted to let you know your videos are one of my favorites. We don’t find many that profess Christianity in their every day life any more. I enjoy the sometimes difficult rigging and challenges that you have to come up with to complete the job safely. Thank you, stay safe, and keep up the good work.
You are so good at what you do, it is amazing. I just discovered your videos and I'm so happy I did though it is sad what has happened to people but you are to their rescue! May the Lord Bless you and your team and keep you safe.
My dad was in the steel business his whole life in Cleveland. They used to make those cable lines and some of them were rated up to a million pounds. Looks like yours would at least be rated at 100,000 pounds. That's probably all you'll ever need.
Mr. Pratt I dont care what others say about ya. :) you are probably the best boss anyone could ask for. I'm thinking about doing some inter work with our local tow company. I just came off the road after 30+ years. And been watching your videos for years. I like the way you do things. Right the first time. Set up is everything. Thanks for videos. And god bless.
David looks like he's going to be a great addition to your team. You sir are a truck driver, tow truck operator, crane operator, and an acrobat. Great job as always.

Love your videos, also love your patience and how you explain things. We need more people in this great world like you. Thanks for all you and your team do.
Great video Rob. Hope you and all the extended family stay safe during these troubled times ! Hopefully when it all clears we’ll see more of your father ..... love all your vids but ones with the big boss man in them are my favourites ⭐️⭐️
Welcome David to the Midwest Truck team! He seems like a great addition. For a trainee, he seems to be doing all the right things at the right times without being told, and asking all the right questions. Working hard without complaining. He's going to make a great operator one day soon. Ron, you've got some great employees there. Stay safe -- both on the road and off of it.
Over head wires weren't too bad. Long job but done right. Glad to see a new recruit. Hope David gets to be as good as Mike some day. No traffic and no rain. I'd say a good day all around. Ice cream looked yummy.
Good Job Ron & David. Took (as you said) longervto spin it arround then it did to set it up right. If only you knew the breaks would release it would have been easier but hey you got it done everyone's happy every one goes home at the end of the day. I was down in your neck of the wooks yesterday never seen the water that high before the diversion channel looks like the leavy is about to be topped any day now.

Yes once you watch one al the way through she’ll ant to see more because yo want to see it to the end and that’s why you stay up late it’s fascinating and Ron is the very best
This is why you get the respect because you do the job correct and complete and you don’t leave a mess for the next person to clean up!

David’s been around equipment before and seems to learn pretty fast. That’s some good qualities in a person. Go David
Started watching while eating breakfast and finished watching drinking my second cup of coffee. Doesn’t get any better than Ron in the morning.😎
Thanks for watching and God bless.
watching Ron Pratt is kind of like a good cup of coffee.
But I bet after the video, you wanted some ice cream too.
@@KevinBenecke Chocolate Ice Cream as I watched the amazing Ron Pratt

I don't know why but I watch your videos like I am watching a movie. Sitting back relaxing and watching your video, just like a movie experience.
nice to hear "thank you " , it dont cost us anything to be polite with good manners and can get you a lot of respect , thank you for the good video
Ron, I made my living behind a steering wheel for 50 years. I could not have done a better job of backing that rig. Excellent job! Your videos make my day.
i am 72, crane man for ever, love this machine. maybe in the next life
Nice teacher Ron. And David is a good learner. Quick learner too. With your guidance one csn see he will become a good recover. Stay safe Ron and GOD BLESS you and your family.
Congratulations David on your new job ,you got a good boss ,and he has hard working men on staff .
Most relaxed I have ever seen you with an assistant working a recovery; good fit for you both. Thanks!
By the looks of that trailer it has seen better days.Nice that your helper doesn’t have to be told every move you need to get the job done.
Ron out here in Australia my nephew is a towie (mostly the light stuff) I got him on your videos and he reckons you have taught him a lot. Thankyou for making his easier and safer

That was a mighty impressive backing job to put that trailer in there in one shot. Thanks for sharing.
Got some much needed practice in with that maneuver. Rookie was giving good advice, could have considered his method. God bless!
He listens and takes in all the info he will be a great addition to your crew
Looks like you have an excellent understudy Ron. I think he will be a valuable asset to the company.
Thank you for the great work you do in sharing your towing adventures with us. Ron, you, your family and you team: please stay safe and healthy in these trying times.

Nice to see new faces David you're learning from one of the best , best wishes ,ron family and staff stay safe, 👍🏻
You should suggest to the city that they put up a sign about strong winds here, to prevent this sort of thing from happening a fourth time!

I really like David! He did an amazing job and I’m very much looking forward to seeing him more! Stay safe Ron!
Looks like you have a real good helper there in David, he's a sharp cookie. Hopefully he will stay around quite a while.
I’m glad to see you are teaching him, then he will be taught the proper way.
Wife and I enjoy your videos. Like how you explain all your procedures. Stay safe in this trying time.
From Winnipeg
It was so nice to hear David use his respect and manners such as yes sir and no sir.
Hi David..Welcome. You have the BEST TEACHER. Ron will show you the ropes and teach you how to be safe. Be careful and Wish you the best.
Man, you are a MASTER!!! As always, thanks for being out there!!!

David seems to be good crew with an awareness that will benefit the crews.
David looks like he's going to be a great addition to your team. You sir are a truck driver, tow truck operator, crane operator, and an acrobat. Great job as always.
David is a good listener and he seems like a good worker ..great vid bud and till the next godbless bud
I LOVE watching your video, I love the way you recuse people in bad situations I live in PEGGS OKLAHOMA
Welcome to Missouri!!! Thank you for watching and God bless.
It always amazes me that knowing how prone to blow over a box trailer is, the park them with the week stability catching the prevailing westerly winds.
Yes I know exactly where this is located. I drive that section of I-55 at least 1x/month usually more often.
I drive NYC 5 days a week, the winds going over the bridges gets intense
A couple more videos and I think we'll be seeing David working the 'tator on his own. You've got a good man there. Look after him.
Looks like you've got yourself a good hand there Ron. Looks like he has common sense, and thinks ahead. Very polite too, he fits right in. Stay safe Ron, God bless.
Ron
I enjoy watching your videos from the Netherlands (Holland) and hope to be able to watch them for a long time
I Don’t want to Jinx you Ron, but you’re so Close to 300,000+ Subscribers you can probably Taste it. Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉 on this Huge Milestone! You have Worked Hard and Fully Deserve every Subscriber you have. Keep up the Strong 💪 Effort! Your Crew is Awesome! 👍 Thanks! 👏
I really appreciate that you added more than one extra camera angle; it's really nice to be able to see how it's done from many different perspectives.
Amazing videos. Would really like to see more of you reversing things into places
Love your videos, also love your patience and how you explain things. We need more people in this great world like you. Thanks for all you and your team do.
Good job Ron backen in David will be a good helper to you GOD bless you be safe
Great video Rob. Hope you and all the extended family stay safe during these troubled times ! Hopefully when it all clears we’ll see more of your father ..... love all your vids but ones with the big boss man in them are my favourites ⭐️⭐️
Doesn’t look that bad Ron great recovery by you and your crew stay safe sir god bless
Blessyou brother for helping the customers in need!!
You’re a First Responder! Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Another fine job done by Ron wish David all the good luck hope everybody stays safe in these trying times
Very good video Ron I just enjoy watching your videos especially right now during this time it really comes in handy
David is a good worker, so you need to keep him on the crew.
I love the way you treat safety first. First thing.
Looks like a good place to put a gravel pad and a conex box with ground anchors. Safer for folks to enter and exit as well.
Came across your channel amonth or so ago. Nice honest living. Love these real life channels. Keep up the good work
David deserved that treat. He’s a great man.
