You literally have taught me how to drive in the snow! And also to drive in deep water! I think your wife she is so awesome and incredible as well as amazing! More often I am ready to give her the high five the hug you are so lucky to have her and I realize now that you agree with me!
I want to thank you for allowing us or me the time frame that I'm seeing this! This is truly amazing and I've made sure that I haven't missed anything! I'm watching from the beginning and now I'm listening to the end I hate this phone! I wish I could help you honest to God! Yes I am a female but I swear I was an male in another lifetime!!!!!! I would rather watch this than anything else! I am also learning more by watching this! Since it is just my service dog and I I make sure I don't miss 1 episode!
Never ceases to amaze me, you get the nastiest most impossible looking jobs...and stay so calm, just letting your computer brain figure angles, stresses, possible problems, so friendly to every one involved, even if someone is angry about the accident and yells at you...AND the most impressive thing is the first thing you think of is praying for anyone involved, and possibly injured!!
Thank you for your kind comments. I have a "math brain" as my wife calls it. I do enjoy a challenge. God bless and thank you for supporting my channel.
Just watching this episode, I like the way you and Mike decide best lift & recovery and that Mike asks good questions too. Ya'll really work well together.
These boys have such a hard time keeping their forklift on solid ground. lol Funniest accident so far!! lol Glad to see Mike again, and hoping his father is doing alright. Let Rodney that we are thinking of him. God bless and have a wonderful week!!!!
Great video Ron. The last job I had before retiring one of the things I did was forklift operator it is easy to get them stuck. And easy to back off the side like that. Never had a place that went down like that. But 3 or 4 inches will make you have to be pulled out. We had one that would lift a semi trailer so he could put the folks though the top and lift the whole forklift up and back on the concrete. God bless.
We had a 35k forklift that had the two steer tires off between the tracks. We couldn't get a tow truck in to it. Luckily the railroad came with the Engine and was able to push it back up. They pushed the Engines connector against the counterweight. They were such a big help. The only other option was a crane boomed over the building. Great work as usual and great video. God bless
Interesting job! Ron you are so professional at your job. I love the way you treat this accidents with respect for the people instead of laughing it off. Sometimes stuff happens and it's great to see a man like you care about people enough to not give them too much flack.
Ron, my sincere condolences on the loss of your friend who was engaged to be married! It is always difficult to lose anyone, may God keep him by his side and bless him! May God also bless and protect you, no matter how difficult the job!
It took me a second to try and figure out what was going on. "...OHHHHHHH... that's the sound of F-bombs dropping!" I admire your professionalism Ron. As an office IT professional I wish I could keep my cool half as well as you do!
Personally, I'd leave swearing in. RUclips isn't the PBS channel, and lets face it, most of the kids who use this platform do so because their parents don't care and never monitor them. Swearing is part of life and can never be avoided.
@@iamReddington I strongly disagree. Swearing does not HAVE to be a part of life. It is only a part of life if we ALLOW it to be. We have control over the words that come out of our mouths. Words are extremely powerful!!! Words have the power to build or to destroy, to heal or to harm, to conquer or to defeat..... I take it is a responsibility to be a positive role model. I am not perfect and I will never claim to be. If we allow our children to be bombarded with "non-traditional" values, then how can we expect them to grow into respectable adults? I have many parents who thank me, stating they know that they can trust this channel to be watched by their children. I will not break that trust. There are still people in this world who appreciate traditional values. This channel IS AND WILL REMAIN family-friendly. If this channel is not to your liking, then you are free to find something more suitable to your taste. Thanks and God bless.
Ron, nicely said. I've been watching your channel from Wisconsin for sometime now and I love the professionalism and respect that you show anyone and everyone that you run into. Always enjoy watching.
Almost looks like the same area you rescued that other fork lift not long ago. What with all that wood around. Loved this "easy peasy" job. The only thing missing was a train going through. It was nice seeing Mike there to assist.
Having driven forklift for many years, I've seen similar things happen. I have seen a couple recovered with a flatbed where the end was under the front wheels and just winched (dragged) up onto it, but the rear wheels hadn't sunk into mud. I've pulled them out of mud using another forklift, front loader, and tractor.
That was a bit of a challenge. Considering all the obstacles in the way and everything, but it was a good out come got the job done with minimal effort took some finessing to get it up on to the pad but thats what the big boy (Rotatior) is for it can do it no sweat. My god bless you & all your family
I about died laughing when he said leave it there, nobody will steal it. Reminds me of my car that had slow leaks in both front tires. They would have to air up the tires to steal the car (cheap theft deterrent). God bless and stay safe out there.
The tator had no issue with the little beast did it. Liked how you had it completely in the air at points. Another great Video Ron. Thanks for sharing and God Bless!!
Another job well done and to have two videos this week was awesome just hope that Rodney and his fiancée are doing good Another weekend is up on us Ron hope you and your family and the Midwest crew have a good weekend and stay safe out there
Some fascinating, precision work there Ron; not a huge amount of brute force this time but very interesting to watch you wiggling the boom between the roof and the cables. All the different movements that the rotator can make were used and all controlled, inch-perfect, from the remote ~ isn't science wonderful? The power lines, as usual, just added another possible problem. They really couldn't have put it in a more complicated position. At least you didn't have high speed trains passing every five minutes.😀 Great to watch, Thanks for taking us along. Cheers for now, Dougie.
I think a in ear headset or walkie talkie would be extremely helpful for backing up or when workers are far away from each other. Much better than hand signals and yelling across a freeway
RON, HELLO, imagine me seeing this @ 5 ;50 pm EST. most interesting recovery. here , lots of cast iron , as they backed up, ooops , oh, call MIDWEST TRUCKING ! They should. Get this done, ! Stay well, be safe, & GOD BLESS, CHEERS FROM NJ 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ron, I'd have been on earlier, except that I have spent this past week in the hospital. I have a collapsed right lung 80-% that is riddled with emphysema, no fun at all. I've been doing my best keeping the spirits of all those working on me. I gave those nursing students the opportunity to learn on a living dummy while I was being given a chest tube. That's not fun, but I never felt the pain
Thank You for these great videos Mr Pratt I applaud your professionalism i have watched some other you tube channels with this content , I watch this one better than 98 % of the time because I agree with Your safety standards and practices You can never be too careful. I also would like to compliment Talon ,Mike and the other Employees of Mid West truck They all have good attitudes and are ready to work hard anytime of the day or night, This can be a tough Job for the long hours some times and some of the incidents You all have to go to such as the one mentioned in this video I thank You for Your service in helping all the People You help God Bless you and Your Team
Like always, a true pleasure to watch...You only learn by doing, and to handle a mistake, you first gotta get there... And then call you guys to be able to enjoy a video xD
Sorry Ron. I thought it was . It sure looked like it.I went back for over a year looking @ your videos and didn't see anything that wasn't close. Again sorry, You do a great job & I'm sorry. Keep on keeping on. 🙏🙏🙏
Ron it would be really nice if could would show the full journey of your code responses...it entertaining for me atleast to see how persons react or might think when they see your units responding especially the tator
I used to do a bit of oilfield recovery stuff with a few bed trucks I owned. A rotator or two woulda come in handy on some of the hair raisers we did!!
@pete smyth sadly there have been a few deaths, in recent years, due to tourists driving on the "wrong" side of the road on Indian Ocean Drive, north of Perth in Western Australia. My home state.
Daniel, why do drive on the wrong side of the road? I drove a mail truck on the right side of the road (in 🇺🇸 USA), also on right side of vehicle. Weird.
If I end up driving down to Louisiana to pick up a charter coach and bring it back to Northern IL this summer, I will be wanting to stop in at the shop to shake the hand of the guy that has given me much enjoyment with these videos of lifting and recovering stuff. Plus, I want to score one of the Tator decals...
Greetings ... Thought, prayers and Blessings to all as always ... Great video of a well-executed pick. The Rotator continues to have the capabilities to meet the need. Absolutely awesome! Stay safe and well, and be Blessed in all you do.
I never get tired of a recovery video!! Maybe one day I'll put some on my channel but I'm not certified for anything ofcourse so it's not gonna be for a while but you're an inspiration!
When picking a Forklift always put a lift strap around center of mast on top and pickup. don't worry about the angle of forklift when lifting. the counter weight will always hang lower when lifting. I was a Forklift mechanic for Forty Years.
The jobs where it's worth to avoid damaging the equipment are often the most challenging jobs. Salvaging junk is sometimes easier because then it's possible to go brute force.
Another great video. I always look forward to Friday morning for your newest video. I appreciate the variety you give us. It is easy to see that you don't get bored with your job. Keep up the good work. God bless.
Ron, would love to see a video of your crew and their bio. How they came to work for your family owned company. Maybe like a short interview with them. Just an idea.
Good job getting that out, the only thing I would of done different , leaving the front hooked up while mike was unhooking the back, looked like it was just inches from the edge
Hi from Deer Lake,,Newfoundland, Canada. Awesome video and I love it and I love watching ur videos. Keep up the awesome work u do and please stay safe. I love trucks.
Ahhh this is better than television any day. Hi, Ron! New to your channel, love the content. You have an amazing crew and are an amazing boss to them. Much love from North Carolina! ❤️

I know someone who repaired computers and printers for a living. "Nothing like the right tool for the right job" he used to say, Well Mr. Pratt, that Rotator of yours, what a tool.
Ron, you do such a good job maneuvering Tator in such tight quarters. Now the big question Can you thread the eye of the needle? I admire you for asking your co worker if he had any other ideas on how to pull the forklift out. You are a true leader!
Just watching this episode, I like the way you and Mike decide best lift & recovery and that Mike asks good questions too. Ya'll really work well together.
Great job as usual. As a certified forklift operator I can appreciate what you do.
I wish we could get 2 uploads each week, your videos are more interesting than anything on television.
Television? Who watches that these days? Just scripted reality television.
These boys have such a hard time keeping their forklift on solid ground. lol Funniest accident so far!! lol Glad to see Mike again, and hoping his father is doing alright. Let Rodney that we are thinking of him. God bless and have a wonderful week!!!!

Interesting job! Ron you are so professional at your job. I love the way you treat this accidents with respect for the people instead of laughing it off. Sometimes stuff happens and it's great to see a man like you care about people enough to not give them too much flack.
I like Mike! I have worked with men like him and the jobs go better because of who they are.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You have a nice truck and you seem like a nice guy. Thanks for the videos. Keep them coming.👍👍
Thank you Ron and Midwest Truck for the very informative videos and tutorials! There are still good people in this world
Ron, my sincere condolences on the loss of your friend who was engaged to be married! It is always difficult to lose anyone, may God keep him by his side and bless him! May God also bless and protect you, no matter how difficult the job!
Ron, You should record one blast of the Rotator Air Horn and use it for swear words.
That's a good idea. I may just do that. Thank you very much. God bless.
It took me a second to try and figure out what was going on.
"...OHHHHHHH... that's the sound of F-bombs dropping!"

Always becomes a problem when the forklift gets stuck, and its the biggest piece of equipment..

Very professional job on a tricky lift. Its the kind of job where disaster can occur in a moment of distraction.
Friday checklist...Up, Dressed, Coffee, Devotion, Ron Pratt video....yep, ready for work! God Bless you , sir! My favorite channel on You Tube!!
I always enjoy watching you and your men work. Always pleasant. Your Christian background and beliefs show through your kindness to others. God bless.

Nice job Ron. The versatility of the Tator helped to make the job look easy.
Ron, your videos are amazing and when you said “oh” it made me smile and chuckle a bit. ❤️
I think a in ear headset or walkie talkie would be extremely helpful for backing up or when workers are far away from each other. Much better than hand signals and yelling across a freeway

Again sorry, You do a great job

The guy that said "We don't need no pictures of that!" Was the driver lol :) good job!
Tight quarters on this one. Great job Ron and Mike.
Ron it would be really nice if could would show the full journey of your code responses...it entertaining for me atleast to see how persons react or might think when they see your units responding especially the tator
Good job guys !!! Thank you for sharing your videos. God bless you and stay safe.
I used to do a bit of oilfield recovery stuff with a few bed trucks I owned. A rotator or two woulda come in handy on some of the hair raisers we did!!
Thanks for the free entertainment. 👍 Hope all is well. Stay safe out there.
As an Australian whenever Ron has someone spotting for him I keep looking on the right hand side forgetting that this left hand drive.
lol, freaks me out watching Aussies drive on the other side, even when I know it is an Oz show. :)
It wouldn't be a problem if they drove from the correct side of their veh-hickles IE, the RIGHT HAND side.
@pete smyth sadly there have been a few deaths, in recent years, due to tourists driving on the "wrong" side of the road on Indian Ocean Drive, north of Perth in Western Australia. My home state.

More complicated lift than it looks. Great job Ron
Greetings ... Thought, prayers and Blessings to all as always ... Great video of a well-executed pick. The Rotator continues to have the capabilities to meet the need. Absolutely awesome! Stay safe and well, and be Blessed in all you do.
"OK Mike, you stand on the forks and bring up the rear...and I'll winch it out."
I never get tired of a recovery video!! Maybe one day I'll put some on my channel but I'm not certified for anything ofcourse so it's not gonna be for a while but you're an inspiration!
An intelligent and well trained professional is impressive!
Nice job lifting the Forklift back up on solid ground. 👍
I've watched a bunch of your videos, but it's still remarkable - what an amazing truck!!
I absolutely love watching your videos. Better than tv anyday.
When picking a Forklift always put a lift strap around center of mast on top and pickup. don't worry about the angle of forklift when lifting. the counter weight will always hang lower when lifting.
I was a Forklift mechanic for Forty Years.
What a great way to start out your day of getting to watch one of Ron Pratt amazing videos stay safe you and the crew and God bless
The right equipment sure makes a job easy! Good stuff
The jobs where it's worth to avoid damaging the equipment are often the most challenging jobs. Salvaging junk is sometimes easier because then it's possible to go brute force.
Good Morning My Friend Mr Ron Pratt Sir & God Bless You & All Of You're Whole Family Today
Another great video. I always look forward to Friday morning for your newest video. I appreciate the variety you give us. It is easy to see that you don't get bored with your job. Keep up the good work. God bless.
I love the decorations!!! Every Peterbilt should be so lucky!! That poor guy that was probably driving the forklift has a broken foot it looks like.
Tks Ron & Mike another great job... God Bless to all.
Ron, would love to see a video of your crew and their bio. How they came to work for your family owned company. Maybe like a short interview with them. Just an idea.

Happy Father's day Ron we hope you have an awesome day and God bless you
(thumbs up) Even the little jobs can be fascinating! :)
Someone's butt sucked up a seat spring when that went off the edge.
@Brandin Morgan it would be a bit painful to go #2 for a while.
Man I bit my lips a lot while you navigated between everything! Well done guys !!
Ahhh this is better than television any day. Hi, Ron! New to your channel, love the content. You have an amazing crew and are an amazing boss to them. Much love from North Carolina! ❤️
Welcome. I'm sure you'll enjoy a lot of the older videos as well. A lot of good educational videos. You'll learn a lot.
Aza@@gen157
another great job. you guys work well together and always with safety in mind
thank you so much for putting in time context for your videos.
Hey based on an observation from a jack of all trades, has the rotator industry offered the option of having boom cables spool in automatically, at the same speed as the boom retracting. To avoid the scenario of boom in, cable in, boom in, cable in...?
That's what I was thinking, a sync mode
I Love the geometric mechanics of this one. You are a master of it.
love your videos as always, I like it when you tell everyone to be safe and god bless. same to you and yours sir...
You get to rescue the difficult forklift with rams and hydraulic lines on the roof. What a silly design. I've done numerous forklift rescues but never one like that. I used to work at a place where they ended up in the creek once a week. I used an a rough terrain forklift with hooks welded to the mast at the top. You can lift them out using the tilt hydraulics of the mast.
That is definitely not a safe spot for operating a forklift! Good work Ron.
Love the explosion sounds to block certain things, lol! And getting your pen back is a day maker!!! God Bless Ron.... always praying for you and your family and crew to be safe
I noticed that too.
Alex laughs when Ron hits the explosion.
Dude! That's forked up! 🤣
Good job, guys! Stay safe and God bless. 😊
Have to admit I'm a small man- my first thought was "I'm glad I wasn't the one driving the lift truck that day"!
Thank you Ron and Mike 👍 good job Stay Safe 🙏
I noticed that railroad switch was lined for mainline, that you were standing right up against the rail, then noticed the spotter on the opposite side of the tracks. 👍 Diligent awareness around railroad tracks is imperative.
Nice one Ron. You make it look so easy. I look forward to the next one. be safe.God Bless.
Always enjoy watching your videos!
Love what you say about saying a prayer before a tow
I pray before, during and after no matter the situation. Whomever I am working for is not having the best day. I believe we can all use a little prayer. Thank you for watching and God bless!
I know someone who repaired computers and printers for a living. "Nothing like the right tool for the right job" he used to say, Well Mr. Pratt, that Rotator of yours, what a tool.
Some of the spots you get into. Great job getting in there and getting her back on level ground.
13:53 It's like threading a needle! Awesome work!
those little fork lift powered by kubota engine wich there made tough if something like that happens they run again
Loved seeing Mike, how is he doing? love n prayers for y'll Mr Ron.
Another great lift with interesting obstacles .
Ron, you do such a good job maneuvering Tator in such tight quarters. Now the big question Can you thread the eye of the needle? So the Clevis or D-Ring only serves as an attachment point for those wider flexible cables ( the orange cloth Thing) I forgot what you call it. The Clevis is not for strength or involved with lifting per se.
Building only needs those cables when the wind gets up, hand them to the manager on your way out :)
Love your vids. Take care.
Thank you for sharing your amazing story, God bless you, friends and family
Ron, with all of that technology I'd think that the manufacturer would have a bit of software that could "set" the boom into your programmed stowage position so that you wouldn't have to fidget the boom into position every time.
