    You make it sound so easy but when I am in binge mode it’s very difficult to stop. My life is very stressful but I have gained 20 pounds in the last 18 months and I was already 45 pounds overweight so now I have 65 pounds to lose. 😢 It’s very discouraging.

      Hi there, I can relate. I just read about all the effects of stress (cortisol) and belly fat and weight gain is definitely one of them. Maybe you should look into reducing the stress in your life first. ❤ Also sleep is important to reduce cortisol.

      Hi! I can definitely relate because I used to be a compulsive eater and tried a million diets and gained over 60 pounds. How I got free was praying and fasting and praying against the spirit of gluttony and whatever else causes my over eating. I've done the 3 day fast several times last year and this year and I'm free. Of course now fasting and praying has been a lifestyle now because my prayers are being answered

    My granddaughter was diagnosed with a inflamed gallbladder .They gave her pain pills and anabiotic‘s. I told her to put the Castrol with cotton cloth on her stomach to see if that will help the pain. What can you suggest? What can she do for this problem naturally.

      Situated under the right rib, the liver is the only organ in the body with the ability to regenerate. It is the largest internal organ in the body. It is often called the “master chemist” because of its ability to break down various substances into different forms. Also called the “Project Manager” as the Liver orchestrates how everything that goes into the body, and out of the body, is dealt with.

      The Liver produces bile, which is the enzyme that breaks down mono and polyunsaturated fats. Bile is stored in the Gall Bladder. When required, bile travels down the bile duct and the bile is released into the duodenum, which is the first section of the small intestines, where its effect is to emulsify the fats and break into small particles. Environmental poisons are either stored in fat cells, or if the necessary nutrients are present in the diet, the Liver converts the fat-soluble toxins into a water-soluble state to be released out of the body via the organs of elimination.

      The Liver is the only organ in the body with fructose receptor sites. As food is broken down in the gut, the carbohydrates are broken down the single structures, glucose and fructose. They are the absorbed into the blood and transported to the Liver.

      Here, the glucose is sent

      1. To the cell to be burnt as fuel
      2. Stored in the cell as glycogen
      3. Excess now kept in fat cells

      The fructose is converted into glucose in the Liver, and then sent on the above journey. This explains the reason for one of the common Liver complaints today which is Fatty Liver.

      THE REMEDIAL EIGHT

      Conditions required for the Liver to cleanse and revive and heal, begin with the Eight True Remedies:

      • Fresh Air
      • Sunshine on the Liver
      • Eliminate any toxic or harmful substances
      • Early nights allow for optimum healing
      • Exercise tones the liver and increases blood to the area
      • A plant-based diet, with healthy fats and unrefined grains, daily legumes, vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds, will supply the liver with all it needs.
      • The liver requires at least two liters of water a day.
      • Trust in God, that He gave us a body with an inbuilt ability to heal itself, when given the right conditions, aids in a release of healing hormones to the liver.

      FATTY LIVER
      _____________

      When a high fructose diet is consumed, the high fructose arrives at the Liver. As it is too much fructose to be converted to glucose, the Liver must store it as fat on the liver causing Fatty Liver. An example of a diet that could cause this is breads/pastries/biscuits or cookies that have been sweetened with high fructose corn syrup eaten with jam that has been sweetened with sugar. Coffee sweetened with sugar or coke or fruit juice that are also sweetened with sugar. Through the day, chocolates/lollies or candies and more sugar sweetened drinks might be taken. Sugar breaks down in the body to glucose and fructose. When foods like this are eaten day after day, going into weeks and months, the fat is stored on the Liver, creating Fatty Liver.

      SOLUTION
      ___________

      The solution is to eliminate all foods and drinks that have been sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and refined sugar. Fruit is only a problem if it is the main part of the diet and eaten in large amounts daily. The scales are tipped when eaten in conjunction with the breads and pastries etc. Keep fruit to only a few pieces a day until the Liver has healed.

      GALL STONES
      __________

      Gall stones can have several contributing factors. But quite often they are a result of a diet high in acid forming foods.

      ACID FORMING FOODS

      • Meat and aged cheeses
      • Refined sugar
      • Caffeine
      • Alcohol
      • Tobacco
      • All drugs
      • Wheat, Oats & rice
      • Peanuts, kidney beans, cannelloni beans, fava beans, black eyed beans
      • Walnuts, cashews, pistachios, Hazelnuts, & Pecans

      The Lungs and Kidney effectively keep blood PH within the required range. But if the person is dehydrated, lacking sleep, experiencing stress and on top of that take a high acid meal, the scales can be tipped. The blood PH begins to drop. The body’s reaction to the dropping of blood PH is a crisis reaction, calling on Calcium Phosphate from the bones, calcium being the most alkaline mineral. This helps to bring blood PH up to the desired level, but at a cost. We now have free calcium excess in the blood. In an attempt to resolve this, the body dumps the excess Calcium Phosphate in the Gall Bladder as stones, also in the Kidney, contributing to Kidney Stones. Excess can also be deposited on bones, causing Bone Spurs.

      SOLUTION

      Alkalizing the diet is the first step and can help resolve the problem. As long as most of the food is alkaline, a few acid forming foods in the diet is not a problem. Most health experts agree on the ratio of 80% alkaline and 20% acid.

      ALKALINE FORMING FOODS

      • Lemon
      • Vegetables, particularly dark green leafy vegetables
      • Fruit
      • Grains; millet, quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth, spelt and Kumut
      • Legumes: Lima beans, Lentils and organic soy bean
      • Nuts: Almond and Brazil
      • All seeds

      THE STONE DISSOLVER

      Castor oil compresses over the liver/ gall bladder area allows the Castor oil to penetrate deep and break up the stones. Consistency is the key. The compress should be worn at least five hours a day for at least five days a week. You cannot overdo this. The bigger the stones and the longer they have been there, the longer it will take, this is why it is difficult to place a time frame on this.

      LIVER/GALLBLADDER CLEANSE

      This will take five days. If the stones are large or numerous, this may need to be repeated several times, over six months, even once a month.

      Day 1
      • Blend together ½ cup of orange and lemon juice, or grapefruit juice.
      • ½ cup water
      • 1 clove garlic
      • 1 tablespoon olive oil
      • ½ teaspoon chopped ginger, (this helps to negate any nausea from the oil.)

      This is taken early morning on an empty stomach. 15 minutes later one cup of hot bitter tea is drunk.

      Recipe for bitter tea:

      • 1 part Dandelion root
      • 1 part St Mary’s Thistle
      • 1 part Gentian
      • 1 part Licorice
      • ½ part Golden Seal

      *These dried herbs are mixed in a jar.

      To Make :

      • 1 teaspoon the dried herbs
      • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped ginger
      • 2 cups water.

      *This is brought to the boil and gently simmered with the lid on for 10 minutes

      Day 2 -As day one, but double the Garlic and Olive oil

      Day3 -As day one, but triple the garlic and olive oil

      Day 4 -As day two

      Day 5 -As day one

      HERBS
      • St. Mary’s Thistle
      • Dandelion
      • Gentian
      • Ginger
      *All these herbs have a direct effect on the Liver to strengthen, tone, and cleanse.

      ​@LivingSpringsRetreat I just experienced my first kidney stone last week. The scan showed there are two more (one in each kidney) still there. Would these remedies help with my stones also? I know its probably my diet since I have a lot of weight to lose. My my stones were the dark reddish brown ones in color.

      I am on a whole food plant-based diet. I consume beans, lentils, & organic non-GMO tofu for protein.
      I consume quinoa, millet, amaranth, and occasionally oats, sweet and red potatoes for carbs / starches.
      Vegetables: All sorts of greens -Kale, spinach, collards, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, celery, beets, garlic, onion butternut squash.
      Nuts & Seeds: Chia, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashews, walnuts, almonds, pecans, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, coconut milk.
      For sweeteners when I bake: maple syrup and honey
      Flours when I bake: gluten free flour, almond flour,non-GMO of organic corn flour, millet flour, oat flour, spelt flour (when I make my own bread).

    Well, I do not think that we should in any way be conditioned in our thinking, not even by prayers. She might believe every word she says and this is good, but I do not think this has to be proclaimed as the only truth. Freedom is the cardinal good we were endowed both according to Jesus and Lao Tzu. But I appreciate the tips and will try to be more and more conscious. In this sense, thank you.
