    Dan's Amazing Grace is unbelievably beautiful..

    Hello there Sir. Dan Vasc stands for Daniel Vasconcelos, he´s a Brazilian who speaks Portuguese, obviously, but also speaks and sings in Italian, German and English, he goes from heavy metal to Opera, from Pop music to sacred religious songs and does it all perfectly, he´s dedicated to his music and fans and I guess what makes him a great artist is the kind of person he is, he´s personality, his life style off camera, it´s not all about being a great singer, but also a nice person, you should check Music of the night, from the Phantom of the Opera, Nessun Dorma an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot and Georg Friedrich Händel: Messiah - Hallelujah (One man choir) just to mention three of the many performances from Dan. Great reaction.

      A most informative reaction. We, his fans, love the amazing versatility of his voice!! It was so interesting to hear the critique of his 'performance ' was as spot on as his vocals. Dan is an independent artist, so most of his songs are his own arrangements and the harmonies are also overlays of him. Looking forward to more reactions, especially to Dan's other incarnations like Nessun Dorma, Burn Butcher Burn, Bring Me to Life and Amazing Grace.

    There isn't anything he can't sing ..ballads, opera, metal ...He has become my favorite artist since hearing his Amazing Grace ..check out Nessun Dorma, Music of the Night from Phantom ...also O Holy Night, Adeste Fideles, his one man Hallelujah Chorus

    This is one of the very best performances I've seen. Dan Vasc is a beast of a singer. His Amazing Grace is amazing indeed.
    Dan has done collabs with Erik Grönwall, another Swedish metal singer. For a while Erik fronted Skid Row. Erik has also done collabs with Tommy Johansson. We now await a collab btw Dan and Tommy.
    I coulld embrace 3 Metal tenors of Tommy, Erik and Dan, much like the 3 Opera tenors.

    One million RUclips subscribers can't be wrong. Welcome to Dan's Vasc catalogue, If you find one you don't like, it will be the first one I know of. He soes other Lloyd Webber songs, but you might want to check out Nessun Dorma to see his opera chops. David, I really tried to see a camera move but it looks like maybe 3, or 6, still cameras with jump cut editing. Dan is an accomplished video editor, so he probably did that himself. His best editing is the Dan Choir doing Handel's Hallujah Chorus.

    As I’ve remarked on other reactors’ channels, the original movie version irritated rather than touched me and John Legend’s version did no better. Dan’s emoting is wonderful, and combined with his incredible voice, my first listen gave me both chills and tears. I truly hope you will check out more of Dan’s music.

      He records his songs in his studio in his house. He then records the video to the song in his garage but lip syncs rather than singing. He said as much on the recent episode on Fear The Beardo: Bro Science with Dan Vasc, episode 3 on You Tube.

    • @bobbiejojackson9448
      @bobbiejojackson9448 Месяц назад

      @@KindraTova I watched that episode because it was the first one after Dan hit 1 million subs. I don't remember him saying anything about it, but I do remember him discussing how he puts his videos together on a Geeks and Gamers or Friday Night Tights podcast about a year ago and he said that he does multiple live takes and then chooses the one he likes best to put together for the video. He said that his video of Handel's Messiah Hallelujah Chorus, took something like 200+ takes and several days to get all 24 "Dans" layered correctly. I'm not saying that you're wrong. I just heard him describe it a little differently. I'll have to check out that Fear The Beardo episode again.

    Dan Vasc stands for quality. In every single song, whether his own or a cover, he brings all his ability, emotion, drama, power, but he also masters the quiet tones professionally. Thank you for your great analysis. I really liked it. I'll be back. I can recommend everything by Dan Vasc, especially: Nessun Dorma, Phantom of the Opera, Amazing Grace, O Holy Night, The Sound of Silence, Mötley Crüe with Kickstart My Heart, Blind Guardian with Lord of the Rings, all Manowar covers, all Helloween covers. And last but not least, on the highest level, "Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen" 🤘😆♥️.

  • @KarySR47
    @KarySR47 2 месяца назад +10

    From my understanding, Dan records all his videos on his own, in his garage. He sets up a few cameras recording from different angles, shoots a couple of takes of the song, and then during editing he alternates between them, choosing which angle from which take he likes best for each section of the song, and puts it all together.
    Sometimes in this video you can see the camera slightly pan from side to side, but I think that can easily be done in editing, no camera people required.

    Thanks for your interesting and detailed analysis! It was very thoughtful and informative. Dan is a true artist. Especially in the early days, he was his own director, lighting designer, recorder, editor, audio engineer,and pretty much everything else. And of course he has a glorious voice, incredible range, unbelievable breath control, deep expressiveness, and power and charisma to burn. He has extensive training in both classical and metal techniques, and he sings everything from folksongs, ballads, Broadway, Disney, Christmas songs, 80s covers, to opera, and of course tons of hard rock and metal, and his metalized versions of ordinary songs. If you try My Heart Will Go On you’ll be astonished. I look forward to more of your knowledgeable reactions! Thanks again.

You explained some aspects that helped me appreciate it even more. I do hope you will react to more of his songs. There are so many I could recommend but I will stay with the more theatrical, I'll Make a Man Out of You, from the Disney Mulan movie. He metalizes it and makes it so fun while vocally hitting the highest notes in his range. It is full of surprises that I think will delight you. I have subscribed and look forward to the next one.

    Dan does his videos as one shot, with no stops, as if he is on stage. He does that with all his music. He does his own editing and and video work (I don't know the terms). On many of his covers he does his own arrangements, making the songs his own, Amazing Grace is an example.
    Thank you for a great reaction, I like that you play it through at first without a milliom stops. The details done on the second go round are succint and right on.

    I thoroughly enjoyed your thoughtful analysis of this masterful performance by Dan Vasc, my absolute favorite artist. I would love to see more! You can pick any song in his catalog, of any genre, and I doubt you’ll be disappointed. His work is perfection in every sense. Every eye movement, hand movement, vocal highlight or inflection is purposeful. He is very intentional in his choices. He feels every word he sings and makes the listener feel it too. He has worked VERY hard to hone his skills to perfection and gives his all in every performance. All that and he’s such a down to earth and genuinely good person. More Dan Vasc please!!🎶🫶

    Dan's metal voice is astounding and I've never really liked metal before but now I do because of Dan.
    If you think that his technique on this song was rather astonishing then I recommend strongly that you listen to his rendition of Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera.
    Your analysis on that song will probably take longer than your analysis on this one.
    Thus far I have not found a genre that Dan Vasc does not master perfectly.
    From Opera to Broadway to Disney musicals to wonderful heavy metal to acoustic folk tunes.
    This young man can Master any type of music.

    Than you for your reaction and analysis to Dan Vasc performing Gethsemane. Just a little more insight - he has said that he does every video three times, with different camera angles each time. He then compares the audio from those three and chooses the one he thinks is the best. So even though he is singing on each one, the audio is taken from the one he considers the best. Then of course they are spliced together. And there we have it - the best of @DanVasc

    We all have hard times and while some people can go through a b c no problem, that same situation in simular form, is a mountain to high to climb.
    I spent quite a lot of time figuring what was the best sure way to die. I wanted to dissappear without being noticed. I just wanted to have never existed.
    I won't give a lot of details. Basic history, my first memory of sexual abuse wad at 3 years old by my uncle. I was in an abusive marriage for 40 years. Covid hit and took my health.
    Thank you for saying you would listen. I use to cut and I've sat with a gun in my lap. I have been driving and thought about running I to a stone wall. Needless to say, I have felt all types of pain.
    Besides the emotional, and mental abuse physical illness has caused such great pain I scream and cry. This terrifies my sweet fur babies. I am so alone most of the time.
    YET,I am surrounded by the presence of the only one who really loves me. If it were not for the love of CHRIST I would be dead. HE always makes a way. My late husband spent 3 hours once telling me how he wanted to kill me. I realize now many ways he tried, but GOD did not allow it. This tells me HE has a plan for me.
    Again thank you so much. THIS IS part of GODS PLAN for you and our sweet DAN.
