...ALWAYS THE SAME OLD STORY BY NIKE: UPPER BORDER "OR FRAME" IS INTERRUPTED THUS RESULTING AESTHETICALLY ORRENDOUS (see Lebron Witness III prm to understand what i'm saying...ALWAYS the same horrible solution).
You gotta read between Sammy's lines there with regards to Nike's line of shoes these days. They are literally the same every release, over and over. I guess I can't blame him for overly sugar-coating this shoe or he'll lose Nike's free stuff for reviews. 😂 Just because a shoe is very light doesn't mean it's better. It will still depend on what's inside the shoe and how they contribute to the overall performance of the shoe. Unfortunately for Ja's line they are like those Lotus feet shoes worn by Chinese women in ancient times. They are extremely narrow almost like it was designed to squish your feet lenghtwise. Not good for blood flow IMHO. It enduces pain over time and the upper starts to dig into your toes. I really miss the 90s designs where everything in the shoe is meant for something, like those Tinker Hatfield designs for Jordan and Air Max. Nowadays though it's like what Sammy have said; big swooshes, more swooshes and then you have Kobe design inspired swooshes. It's getting tiresome at this point.

JA 1s most definitely collected a bunch of dust. Was so bad for traction. At least 2 colorways that i had. Teammates also said the same about their colorway models
the problem with almost every ja 1 in asia is it collects alot of dust outdoors or indoors, but its never affected by it probably cause its XDR in asia and the tractions is amazing

Basically Nike is putting out “Kobe-Like” shoes without actually mass producing The Kobe Line. Just “sort of” Kobe’s are what these shoes say to me. Idk 🤷🏿♂️
my honest opinion on the ja 2, i have super wide feet and once broken in they are one of the best shoes out by nike for wide feet, stay true to size, however if want a little more wiggle room half size up. Traction is about 8.5/10 few wipes and you good but no wipes on a clean court you’ll notice a little slippage nothing too crazy. Cushioning is stiff I think with more wear they will soften up a bit but again they are comfortable and SUPER LIGHT

You can get heel and forefoot cushioning in Nike shoes for 120, but if you are looking only for the hype and signature shoes, you won't find those ones.
