I'm really sad that this song isn't going to be on the new album. It's definitely my favorite of the new stuff they been playing live. I just hope they still release the song as a beside or an outtake or something.

Why couldn't this have been on the Album? This song is just... wonderful. Don't get my wrong, the other songs on the album are good, too. (Like Ireland, and Savior) But... I'd have to say that this song would be the best one if it had been on the Album.
Pessimistic is just a short slow song, they made it the opening of Berlin's Lido show last March, (there are a few videos on youtube). i think all the tracks named "Stamp pf origin:..." must be some sort of interludes between full lenght songs.
@rashadvarma No I never listened to the Busta Rhymes..I think Im one of those guys whose now trapped in the past..cant listen to anytthing new.. My nephew is 25, went to see dredg at the Tower in Philadelphia last week and sent me photos etc from the show .. so i went on youtube to check them out..i was suprised at what they sounded like and was glad they werent some "alice in chains" crap..then i saw the "genesis" comment and...you know. Like I said, I never liked Genesis yet Im defending them!
@rashadvarma I'll tell you what buddy - you have the right attitude and i came off a little harsh on you but you'll see i SWEAR, when you get older you'll be saying the same thing about your music to your kids!...kudos and respect to you AND your dad, have a nice weekend!
The only thing that vaguely irritates me about this band is that so much shit of theirs is never released. Or if it is, anyway, it's difficult as SHIT to find. But it makes it that much better when you do find it

I feel like this evolved from The Warbler. It's not quite the same, but the vibe is. Maybe it's just the drum.
