This is what makes Dredg so great live. It's the fact that they can go back and experiment with old songs, adding new ideas into their work, not too mention their ability to improv onstage.
i hope that bands like dredg grows, but just for keep them making music...not for to be more pupular... i really like this band.. and seriusly ...i like u2 but just a couple of songs... dredg has an unique style and has unique melodies
This is the only Dredg song I don't like (except the last 2 min of it on the album). This version is at least somewhat tolerable. Sorry, it just sounds like the theme song to a WB TV show.
Incredible, incredible song. There aren't words to describe Matroshka for me.
indeed

I absolutely love this song. It's easily my favorite on Catch Without Arms, which puts it high in the running for my favorite Dredg song out there.
I totally LOVE this song and that's a great recording! Thanks!!!
Awesome, I never thought I would see them perform this live.
Best song ever.. wish there was a better live recording. But I will take it.
holy shit. Old song, new meaning.
damn that extended jam was cool
I think I saw this on a dvd in allston... good stuff, evasivetear.
Fucking love this track. Great live performance too!

Sublime canción
hammer
i really do like this song.
but i agree, it does sound like a WB show
The live version does sound like u2. The studio version, I don't think sounds anything like u2. But, yeah, good observation.
They look like they are throwing joints or cigs haha. great song
is the reason U2 got brought up because this has a 'with or wihtout you feel' at the start?
this style is slow than original one!
Where is the bass?
is someone throwing cigarettes at Drew starting at 5:28?
The lesson here being clearly not to fuck with authority, because you wisely should not have the cojones to knock down a pretentious giant.
Lolz.
