Almost 2 years sober now & I would say for me taking pride in what you have achieved helps counteract the social influence. Being proud of how long you’ve not drank, how much money you’ve saved, what plans you have the next day because you won’t be hungover! I’ve found most of the time on nights out people seem envious that you are able to do it sober. Nothing good happens post 1am!!

I really like Shea moisture curl and shine shampoo and conditioner, I also use watered down apple cider vinegar to get rid of product build up every few weeks, and I don’t use products with silicons, phylates, sulphates etc etc in - I basically try and do the curly girl method, and it really helps the curls

Best thing for my hair is the Umberto Giannini curl range (vegan and CF) but particularly the banana butter, soaking wet hair, shove it in and give it a good scrunch, it’s so hydrating it works wonders ❤

Yesss I’m trying to eat healthier and would love to know what I can include that would help hair growth ❤🙏 I’ve found getting hair cuts regularly (every 8 weeks) and getting a low heat hairdryer (Dyson hairdryer) has also HUGELY helped! Love the videos ☺️

Hi Steph, Aloe vera gel is great for helping curls after you have washed and conditioned and done the hair turban thing. I discovered the curly girl method during lockdown and no longer fight my wavy curls but work with them. It's been a revelation. I also spray a leave in conditioner in too. I love letting my hair dry naturally - it is so quick compared to when I used to tie it up in a bun for a day to try and make it dry straight. X

@@StephElswood not really, it was always quite healthy as I rarely use heat on it. I just decided it was time to embrace my natural hair colours. It feels super slow but in another year I’ll be a lot closer to the finish line x

Yay! We love to see it! So I bought a spray can to re-wet my hair and then the comeback curl spray from cantu is amazing! Then I apply a little oil. A salt spray night also be good! I’ve tried alott and that’s been good! Xxx
