The scale bodies got me back into RC. I think realistic engine sound sound would only add to the fun.

Just fitted one to my Bruder D11...there are 4 diesel truck sounds at the end of the list, once calibrated it sound awesome, specially in a hard push, recommended....!!!
I have this sound system and I have not even taking it out of the package yet I got it for a little while the price was reasonable and I think it'd be fun with my Crawlers
The GT power unit is pretty good, I reviewed it on my channel over a month ago. It's much better than the banggood special unit that had only 10 sounds.

Mount your unit in a way that uses the body shell as an acoustic space for a fuller sound.
Exactly the case. The body surface a huge sandbox.
Fitted in my Bruder D11, the bass is deep and sounds very good...

Might be the thing I need to bring that LS V8 sound to my yk-6101.
I have the ESS (unbranded version) that came with various mounts in my TRX4 Bronco, I like it. This GT unit might find a home in my Tec4 due to the small size. I like the sound much better than the Traxxas on board audio.

The trick is to dial in the volume. Sure, louder is better, right? Wrong! It adds the little bit of extra scale feeling when I drive slowly through the unforgiving wildness of my backyard 😄 Come over and take a look ✌🏻😀

It's hard to tell realism of the sound. I did hear one in a semi truck. I thought, ehh, that mounting it inside the body maybe affected broadcast. And for sure it's hard to tell in video. Fifty seven sounds, gotta be big cam big block in there somewhere or a straight pipe Cat jaking down hill
GT sound module for rc is good, just only slightly less than ESS One.
I purchased one, but when I tried to download files, alas..windows only... ?? so went for this one, just very gooooood indeed....
BTW, I added an inline on/off switch for the sound unit.

I have an ESS Dual, and I love it !! This one is pretty cool, but going through all 57 sounds to get the one you want seems a bit tedious. That said, it's about half the price of a Dual.
They have an app too i believe where one can access the different sounds quicker

When you said "fully programmable" did you mean that, you can actually add your own sounds to it? Or just flip through the 58 that come with it?

I'm about to get my 1st proper RC Crawler, an Axial SCX24 Bronco, I'm not ready for a 1/10 just yet, but will this fit and work in a 1/24 scale vehicle?
I always wonder why no company has figured out that you can just have the sound come out of the controller…
They could just add an optional small sound module to the base of the transmitter, and have it run either with a small speaker that’s in the transmitter, or even better, with headphones.
No fiddling around, no 2nd battery, crisp clean sound, depending on your headphones, and works with any car any scale. 🤷♂️

When I looked up ess dual company it no longer exist so I couldn’t link to download different sounds. If someone knows how to change them let me know. Those this one have a Hemi Sound or old V8?.

When I got mine I plugged the USB adapter and tried to link to their website and couldn’t reach a valid address. The unit does come with two imbedded sounds and that’s probably why it still sells but as far as upgrading or changing sounds the website is not there. SOME say there is other ways to download added sounds but I haven’t heard how.

I don’t know how to connect this thing, I plugged it into my speed controller or whatever box that has all the wires in it and it only worked when I turned the tires? Do you know how to fix it?
Need to connect to the other channel. You're connected to your steering servo

not one those guys showed how hook it up they like to show the sounds it makes I can not get mine GT power to set up with the throttle I get all sounds but I can set it to start with throttle....sucks
Sounds very cool. But I like the way an RC sounds. If you want sound , get a gas powered RC. That is my thought

Already installed in my rig a month ago. There's no 2nd gear to 3rd gear sound change. It stays in 1st gear. Liking it so far on crawl but not on bash

ESS Dual is what everyone uses. GT Power user interface is klunky.

@RC Ya Later... first, if i wanted weed wacker sounds, I'd buy a weed wacker. second, nitros can't be driven inside and you can't control how loud they are.
Just not into sound units. If I want sound I will run one of my nitro cars. At least that sound is real. Just Saying.
Agreed. But nitro is really dead for most folks. I tried line a couple months ago and it was just way too painful for a little torque
How do you know if its actually that good if you are not buying it without their knowledge...sorry not a trustworthy review...the ess is proven
Having heard the sound, learned about the 57 options and the price, there's really not a lot to distrust about this video. Just a demonstration of what it does.
