Thank you for the catalog. It will give me many hours of reading and digestion.

Great video. In Denmark we are not allowed to use anything but stainless steel for firewall penetration. I imported a US build experimental and had to change all my aluminum fitting before I could get a permit to fly....

I agree with some of the other comments. 38999 or equivalent bulkhead feed through connectors need to be touched on. Other than that it is a great video with lots of useful information.

For electrical cables, I was surprised not to see a panel-mount plug used. Why is this method not considered?

I think that's how I want to do mine but I also think a lot of builders are terrified of having to build their own connectors. Most seem to try to buy complete harnesses which tend to not have extra connections which and cost.

Very important question. i see at 5:00 min what appears to be 2 gps antennas in the engine compartment. did this work out with out any issues?

Probably too late, but I would not recommend it. Even if the cowling is fiberglass, the firewall and the rest of the aircraft would block the view of the satellites from a large portion of the sky. Those antennas are meant to be mounted on top of the aircraft, preferably on the highest point of the aircraft. Just follow the instructions of the manufacturer. If you don't want to install an antenna on the outside, putting the antennas on the glareshield will likely work better. (Plus, it avoid having to pass more cables through the firewall.) Antennas that mount on the glareshield are also often much less expensive.
