Thanks for all the videos! :) On other topics I'd love to see: firewall penetrations, engine mounting, governors, oil coolers, starters, alternators, plenums, prop attachment, fire protection...so pretty much everything else :)

The blue silicone 3 inch wide seal is the best, worth any extra cost, IMO. Great series, keep 'em coming.

Once the FWF series is complete, it would be great to do a firewall series. There is a general lack of information as to what constitutes a good firewall. Most know enough to use SS rather than aluminum, but few seem to know what insulation materials to use, fiberfrax, etc., and what insulation protective materials to use, SS or titanium sheet, etc., and how to tape/seal the insulation and its protective layer to block oils, vapor, flame, etc.

Instead of the 2" or 3" wide seal material, I purchased a sheet of the blue fiberglass impregnated silicone baffle seal. I was able to make all of my seals - with compound curves - out of this. I started out with the 3" roll but quickly found out that it wasn't tall enough to go from the front to the rear without having to cut the strip and create an overlap joint.
