Love your content, track from scratch and work flow is great for noobs like me, I just started my music journey 6 months ago and about time I join as a gold member on your patreon. Looking forward to learning more and more, got bitwig a good set of vst's, nice audio interface and a few analog synths that I'm already in love with, setup is working and having a lot of fun exploring everything. you could say i've had the synthwave fever for a while now, I'm infected and its not going away.
Very nice as usual. When I see you drawing notes in the piano roll i always ask myself: why does Bitwig not have some method of „typing“ in notes with the midi keyboard. I hate drawing notes with the mouse.
Very nice video! Love it! I have a question. I used to have an Atari1040st with Cubase v2 and it was possible to create a mixermap to control the hardware synths. I found a way to automate with modulators Midi CC and the Midi in the HW-Instrument (I have an example movie on my channel), but it would be nice to have a better overview like the mixermap on my Atari1040st. Is this possible with the Poly Grid? I have no knowledge at all with the Poly Grid.
D# that's all we need :-), I was just listening and was wondering what is this tone ? Ah it's Polarity so it's ... May be I will rename this tonality Polarity tune or tone in Polarity
Do you have the Bitwig sandbox turned on? Or why is it crashing? It's really rare for Bitwig to crash for me personally. Granted I don't use any VSTs just native devices
S-YXG50 VST comes out of the Yamaha SOL2 Windows installer which was kind of the successor to Yamaha XGWorks. Nearest on a Mac would be to buy the Yamaha MU80 / MU50 / QS300 / DB50XG / DB60XG / SW60XG / MU10 hardware unit as they all use the same SXGWAVE4 Voice Table as the S-YXG50 and have the same sounds exactly. Steinberg Halion is probably the most-similar alternative in software, but that YamahaXG's MU sound is quite unique as relatively low-fi, but the sounds are very well balanced. There was also the Yamaha S-YXG2006LE VST but afaik that was only Windows too.
Great to see S-YXG50 used. XGEDIT95 will still work with it on Windows 10/11 if you want have full XG Midi control over all parameters. But in GM mode the Edit commands will still pass through Bitwigs controller. XG requires sysex passthrough to the VST which Bitwig doesn't support unfortunately.
absolutely love your production vids. every time i learn something and get inspired to open BItwig and just fuckin make something. cheers robert

Just awesome. Looks so easy peasy when you do it.
I am new to Bitwig. Learned tons of new stuff with your video. Great 👍🏼
wow you have become a master of bitwig
So masterful !
For anyone without Bitwig it would appear totally Amazing
I like it when you make beats!

lol good thumbnail
POV: you just told Polarity-san you paid $79 for a VST that can be duplicated in 10 minutes with 6 grid modules (including a Label for documentation)

yo it was off. did some plugin tests last week.
@@PolarityMusic man, it's crazy how good the sandboxing is. It gives Bitwig so much stability
Great stuff. You should do these more often. :)
Also, any chance for another live stream sometime soon?
hi, is there something like the S-YXG50 for Mac? Thank you

Sorry, will kein Klugscheißer sein, aber 'Yamaha' spricht man im Englischen genauso wie im Deutschen aus. Betonung auf 'Ya'.
