I pressed Ctrl+I to isolate the selection, which hides everything except the selected object. The default Blender hotkey could be Shift+H .

Hey, thanks for the input. I use hotkeys wherever its convenient, but I prefer using the mouse more than the hotkeys. That's just a personal preference.
