Career and Personal Background:
I have a BA in Accounting and MBA in Human Resources. It wasn't until I fell ill that I found my passion for health. It's true what they say your passion is in your pain. Even on a low vibrational day, I still have this overwhelming desire to help and guide other people to good health. I know the feeling of hopelessness and no one should ever have to feel that way.
On another note, I am raising a beautiful queen who also has a passion for health. We live in Atlanta and we love it here! We enjoy shopping at different international markets and experiencing the different cultures (Jamaican culture, African culture, Indian culture etc.). It's a great time to be alive and live in the present time. I truly create content that will at least save one person. Views are great, but inspiring just one person to keep pushing to heal is enough for me. I will continue to let my love and light shine through your screen to help heal some part of whatever has you stuck in that place that hurt you.
Lemme tell you something sis… I wanted a Vitamix for soooo long. I couldn’t afford it (as a single mom back at that time). So I would scour online ads to see if anyone would donate one or give me a good price… NOTHING. One day while looking for a used Vitamix I saw an ad for a job with them selling at Costcos. I took the job and got one for free. When I tell you I love my Vitamix. I understand your joy. ❤
I bought a used Vitamix 5000 on eBay in 2020 for $150.00. I ❤️ it!

@@tabithaadams8815 you definitely will never regret it… they also come with a 7 year warranty. If anything is wrong they will replace or fix it for you.
Congratulations on getting your Vitamix! It’s my favourite appliance ever.
One suggestion: wash your container as soon as you’re done. Although Vitamix is easy to clean, if you let the food stay too long (or dry out) in it before washing, over time the container may start looking cloudy or film coated. I have had mine for a few years and it’s as crystal clear as the day I got it.

@@WhitneyPeoples I always rinse the container then add about 1/3 full of hot water with squirt of dish soap, then run the clean cycle on your machine, Rinse and there you go. BEFORE I eve enjoy my blend. It is a dream to clean.

Love your content! Let me tell you, when I have worked as a field auditor, I would literally travel with my heavy vitamix on airplanes or car travel to maintain my healthy eating while on business trips.
I paid $800! When the 750 came out. I worked summer school to pay for it. Best invest ever! When I went vegan 12 years ago I just brought exactly what was needed for the lifestyle. I actually want the new one where I can use the food processor. I just hate wasting money buying things over again.
Rinse out the pitcher immediately. Fill the pitcher half full and add a drop of liquid dish detergent and run it. Then rinse out the pitcher. Hubby and i are in our 70's and start our day with a smoothie made in our Vitamix. Be careful of the blades. If you rinse out immediately, you won't need to get your fingers near the blades. Hope you heal quickly!

My Vitamix is 7 years old this July. I would not want to live without it!! It is my favorite appliance, even over my J2. I have the professional 750 heritage with true metal base. LOVE.
I saw that as well and was going to get it but decided to go with the A3500 which is also amazing!

That vita-mix looks impressive! I use the nama J2 smoothie filter, but it spits liquid out one spout and smoothie out the other 🥴 I combine both in the end for smoother consistency- but is too much work 😅- definitely will look into that blender!

Whitney I'm having such a hard time starting my healthy journey 😢 I keep giving in to cravings for unhealthy things. Do you have any advice as we approach Qtr 2 of the year?🙏
1: Love yourself more than your vices.
2: Boost your water intake.
3: Down a juice or smoothie prior to going ANYWHERE food is served.
Brunch with friends at 11am? You should be having a juice at 1030. Even if you plan to eat with them, have the juice/snoothie before arriving !

I would say plan your day out from start to finish. This will help a lot and provides guidance without having to think about what to do next such as eating.

Plastic container. So no heavy duty glass pitcher? I think they may be available. Not sure. I haven't had another Vitamix for a while. But it's nice to have an effective long-lasting blender. I'm looking for a new one. I so like that smoothie. ❤

My question is about the fruit called Pomelo it looks like a larger Grapefruit. Is it like a Grapefruit or is it like an orange?
Omg it’s like a large sweet orange. I love them sooooo much. But it’s considered a grapefruit but it’s taste like an orange to me.
1:11 wow, H Mart in Chicago is one of the cheaper organic stores. Those prices shook me. Maybe bc it’s in Cali it’s more expensive. I prefer to drive across the border to Indiana and support a local farmers market. Inflation is out of hand🤦🏾♀️

I have had my Vitamix for 20 years. Since Culinary school. It literally has not slowed down a bit! Vitamix is the ONLY brand Chefs use. You have a 10 year Full Warranty on that bad boy. And your body will thank you. The Self Clean program will completely clean itself. Warm water and no more than two drops of dish soap... then just rinse. You made an excellent choice! Enjoy!

I bought a Vitamix here, but the lid was a problem, it was so annoying; I ended up selling it to someone ! I don't have a blender at present.

I want to say that I just watched a video of your daughter going grocery shopping. I can't for the life of me see anything negative about either your beautiful daughter or the video in general. She is so much more mature than I was at 7 years old! I was surprised to hear you say that she's 7. She's obviously very smart and health minded. I honestly don't understand people. Wow I haven’t been to H mart in years. I need to go visit. I remember why I stopped listening to you talk. They are too expensive. I love my vitamix. I have had it for 6 years and I even left it out in the rain once it still worked perfectly. Mine isn’t computerized though. I do travel with it. It’s not bad, it’s a necessity.Also don’t explain yourself to these people

I was shopping for blenders vs food processors last week, looking at reviews and stuff. Is this what adulting feels like 😅 Does the Vitamix have a plastic container? It's my pet peeve even though it's light to lift. I only like glass, it makes me feel fancy 😂 Upon further watch, you lifted it way too easily so it's likely plastic. I feel like for that price they can do better. Hopefully the motor makes it worthwhile
Yes it’s an amazing blender but it is a plastic pitcher. I wish it was glad though. I believe they used plastic to make it easier to clean, I’m unsure.

I bought a Ninja with the regular sized canister and hated it. So ridiculously loud. Then I bought a Vitamix E series and felt like it was a chore to blend anything. Also horrendously loud. Bought a nutribullet and it wouldn’t power on. I was so frustrated! Finally bought a Ninja that has 2 cups-1 bigger and 1 smaller, and I love it! I think the Vitamix is over-hyped. I spent $300 and it was just like any other blender. I suppose if I had spent double on a higher end series, I would have felt differently. For now, I’ll stick with the Ninja.
