"I can't imagine my life without Kingdom Hearts." That is a feeling that many of us that bonded with this series feel. You could say that Sora is so good at connecting to other hearts he's done so with hearts beyond his reality. But I grew up on this series. I still remember playing KH1 with my mom all those years ago now. But just because this journey has ended, it doesn't mean that it is over. Kingdom Hearts has become part of my heart, just like it has for you, and it will never leave or be forgotten. While we may have to wait a while for the next part of our journey, we can still look back at all the fond memories we have and share with the friends we made along the way. So don't be sad that it's now over, be happy that it happened in the first place.
What do you think of the theory that Kairi will be the next villain? There is evidence that points her to be the next one to fall to darkness. Most fans don’t understand the concept of a red herring line. When I first heard this: “A princess of heart has no darkness within them.” I instantly knew this was a red herring line. And sure enough I remember this line: “darkness is within everyone’s hearts.” And frankly we already have signs of mental trauma for Kairi. It’s her battle cries . They start out like this: I can fight now! Let’s do this! Come on But now they are this: Please work! I can do this? Work! Come on work
@@eddog6666 I'd be very surprised if she went full villain, the most that I could see is an Aqua situation of where she is beat down over and over again until her heart just gives up and succumbs for a bit before being rescued. As for if there is currently darkness in her heart, I feel that would be a question of "Is she still a Princess of Heart?" as we know that when a Princess's heart does get tainted by darkness a new one is chosen from among the worlds, like how Rapunzel is among the new 7. But I don't think Kairi's heart got tainted during this time because of one thing, her heart was never captured. It never became part of Riku/Ansem's Keyblade and she was away from the fighting and wasn't holding back the darkness like the other Princesses. And as for the lines I think they are pretty natural as compared to all the other Guardians of Light, she has very little combat experience and was fighting against the series big bad that had recently taken her down. It would be like in ordiginal Final Fantasy 7 where we play Aerith for a little bit in the beginning with low level mooks, we don't use her at all after that, she gets killed by Sephieroth, and we find a way to resurrect her just before fighting Safer Sephieroth. There is going to be a lot of fear and doubt there.
“Yes! Yes! Give me a whole game about that!” If that isn’t the biggest mood. If they don’t give us at least a little bit of Aqua training Kairi and them kicking butt I’m going to be so mad.
I had no idea of the adventure I was embarking on when Violet began streaming this series at the beginning of the year. After knowing nothing about Kingdom Hearts I now consider myself a fan and am very excited for what the future holds. Thank you for being willing to share this journey with us and giving these videos the same care and reverence each game deserves. P.S. I will never forget the time Violet admitted that she missed Donald in Hollow Bastion during KH1.
You know, it doesn't matter if you are a Kairi Hater, a Fan or simply do not care about her. You still feel bad for the SHAFT she gets all the time and think "JUST GIVE HER SOMETHING ALREADY!"
It may have been 19 years when it released in NA, but in Japan is was released in March of 2002 making the 20th anniversary in a few months. From Nomura’s own statement, its gonna be huge and they have something big announced
So technically I still need to make my KH1 video. That will be next. I'm also working on Data Master Xehanort. When I beat him... it will finally be time for the secret boss.
@@LanzTheMaster Okay but the MX fight is pure chaos LOL. I regret all my life choices each time I go in there to learn the moves. Thank you so much for watching!
@@ShirouBrando yeah it definitly is. Sora's most famous quote is literally "my friends are my power". I think the series should end with all 3 of them on the paopu tree just like in KH1. Nice way to make everything feel full circle.
@@ShirouBrando what even IS your basis for Naminé being Riku's true love over Sora? Isn't it easier to just say there won't be any romance? Cuz Riku and Naminé aren't a thing either.
By the end, as Violet starts sobbing that she finished Kingdom Hearts, and Riku's Theme in the background, and then as she downs her face and lose in the song... That timed so perfectly, it was moving.
KH - Riku drowns, Sora falls out of the sky and lands on Sora, knocking Sora into the sea. KHCOM - Sora thinks he was in a ton of Disney movies and dies because of it. Riku locks himself in a door to be with Mickey (Riku is Mickey's biggest fan) and Kairi is sent to a desert where she shall die of thirst. KH358/2 - Roxas needed a reminder of who's in the Organization KH2 - Kairi remembers that things happened. She misses Sora so much that her long lost sister notices and locks Sora in a flower bud to pay the ultimate price. She whispers to him before he is sent to eternal sleep: "Thank Naminè" AKA the magic words that gave birth to Roxas KHBBS - Earth, Wind, and Water are warriors that fight the old man army. Earth rejects Water and drowns in darkness, Wind is asleep and dreams of Hercules and Stitch. Water is forever alone. R.I.P Water. KHR:C - Sora is locked in a digital book of memories. Also has some decent music and glitches in there, he should be fine. KH3D - Kingdom Hearts: The Musical. Featuring Mickey the Wizard/Swordsman KH0.2 - and now, a sneak peek at Water's musical memories. KHBC - *Among Us* KHUX - War crimes are committed just for an Among Us game. Also time travel because time travel is fun, right? KHUXDR - Young Xehanort's misadventures. KH3(2.9) - Wind looks like Roxas (or does Roxas look like Wind?) and Wind is sleeping, Earth is evil and also sleeping, and Water is playing the world's longest game of hide and seek... and is also probably asleep. Sora remembers his adventures through Disney World and Disney World 2: Button Mashing Electric Boogaloo. Roxas decides to be like Wind and goes to sleep inside Sora, who almost forgot he almost dies taking an exam. Riku passed his, so good job for him. His reward is to go on another adventure with his idol, Kairi goes to do some.... thing, and Sora goes off to gain some power. Also, people playing chess. KH3 - Chess is bad. KH3 Re•Mind - More time travel because is fun.... Right? Also Nomura is kinda mad because Square Enix didn't let them make FF Versus 13. KH Melody of Memory - Kairi finally have an important roll in the series and still is useless. Best version of Dearly Beloved tho. Things to know: Hearts = souls, Roxas likes ice cream, Sora's mom is STILL waiting for him to come to dinner, and Earth isn't actually Earth, Wind is the oldest besides he is 12 years old.
That jazzy Dearly Beloved is SO happy and beautiful! …. It almost makes you forget that Sora is trapped in another reality/the realm of death/Final World; that Riku is going to this world where Yozora may not even be the strongest enemy there; that Kairi is feeling worthless due to not going on the mission; and that the Master of Masters had this huge convoluted plot that included LOTS of suffering from all our friends. Ahaha *sobs
This game is honestly, such a fun time and it's also my favorite version of Dearly Beloved. I also want a whole game of Aqua and Kairi being badass women together. Welcome to being caught up
Something I adore about Kairi is that she’s such a quick learner. She knows she’s weaker than the others and she feels like a burden to Sora and the others, so she fights to stand alongside them as equals. In KH3 she got caught by her keyblade and was kidnapped that way, and here she doesn’t give Xehanort a chance, quick to let go and resummon her keyblade, something Sora forgets to do a lot! Sora himself got caught by Young Xehanort in Toy Box by being caught by the keyblade. I love how she recognizes that her training under Merlin wasn’t enough, that she needs guidance from an actual keyblade wielder! And I love how I’m ReMind, she adopts techniques from Axel, such as throwing her weapons, and she even can warp to it! When Terranort kidnapped her as a child, in the Ansem reports all the way back from KH1 and the Novels, it reveals that he didn’t just kidnap her. They did experiments at the time to create heartless from people’s hearts, but hers failed to produce any. So not only was she kidnapped, but she was experimented on. It’s widely believed by the fandom that it was this trauma that led to the loss of her memories. I’m so excited to see where Kairi goes next, and I’m so excited to watch you get excited as Kairi gets more time to shine!!!
I'm glad you talked about Kairi being constantly put away from the action. I love KH story a lot but at this point it feels like the writers are playing with our need to see Kairi in action. JUST LET HER FIGHT DAMN IT
Her entire transition to becoming a keyblade wielder was pretty lame too. Never showed her fight once before, Riku’s just like “hey want a keyblade, we’re handing these out now” Then she can’t even fight her own Memory of Xehanort without Sora’s help -_-
@@tiamod You made me realize something. Riku could initially summon the Kingdom Key but lost it to Sora. Then he gets Way to Dawn. Then he makes Destiny Embrace and just hands it to Kairi like he's giving out fliers. After breaking Way to Dawn, he just makes Braveheart. How is Riku making all these keyblades?
It's such a thrill to watch your experiences while playing these games. Even watching your streams since you came back is really wholesome. I'm looking forward to the content you will put out in the future! See you soon on the interwebs! Love, Dutchie
To be fair Kairi was trained to be a Keyblade wielder like yesterday, to be able to pressure Xehanort who is the greatest Keyblade Master of that era is enough proof of her talent and potential. For her to be able to defeat Xehanort singlehandlely would be utterly bullshit when none of the other main characters is capable of doing nothing similar.
Well its not the real one tho. Its something in her head. And he couldve shown that she is borrowing strentgh from sora with just the keyblade and not comepletely being taken out of it
@@BARALover96 Knowing the strange that KH is with this kind of thing (for example Re: Coded Data Roxas was stronger than KH2 Roxas) it wouldn't have been rare for me that his strength was comparable to the real one. I agree completely with the fact she shouldn't have been taken out of the picture, only with showing Kingdom Key for us to know that she was getting some help from Sora would have been enough, my comment is only related to how Kairi shouldn't he capable of defeating Xehanort by herself right now, of course it could have been done better.
I have been subscribed for a while now and watched all of your KH reactions. I just want to say thank you. This series means so much to all of us and becomes an integral part of our lives. The characters and lore weave themselves into your heart. It was wonderful getting to experience the series all over again through your eyes. To see the story unfold without indepth knowledge of lore and community speculation. Your journey into the fandom is a beautiful gift and you are an incredible person. Thank you again for all you do. May your heart be your guiding key. ❤️🗝️
MoM is such a lovely game. Ahh, congrats on finishing the series and catching up with us! Kh is such a wonderful, life changing experience Thank you for sharing yours with us
I am so happy that I found you through your Kingdom Hearts series, I am now able to enjoy your stream and live all these emotion with you. Congratulations for finishing Kingdom Hearts, I am excited to see what's next :)
I don’t think we ever truly finish Kingdom Hearts. It continues through our replays of games and exploring lore and through our friendships. We might be waiting for the next game, but we will will always be a part of Kingdom Hearts. Also I love your let’s plays. ♥️ Thank you for the wonderful year of sharing your reactions to this huge game. ☺️
Amazing video Violet. Hilarious and emotional as usual. It makes me feel like going outside and screaming “Kingdom Hearts!” But my neighbors might call the police. 🤣 also I need that Aqua and Kairi game like Pooh need honey!
Melody of Memory is the first KH title I've personally played, mostly because of everything in the series, one of the things that has always stood out to me the most is the music. Getting to see your stream and this video of you also getting to experience that is something wonderful indeed :)
I interpreted the boss fight differently. Kairi is fighting her own memory of xehenort, someone she feels a lot of anger and fear for. The game’s theme about memory made me think that this type of memory is her “trauma” which makes it harder to fight, especially alone. In a moment of need she connects to Sora in some way, who is able to lend her his strength. I think it is still Kairi fighting but with Sora’s skill and power. I know physically we see Sora and I agree they should have given Kairi the spotlight, but I think the message is that the best way to confront trauma is with help.
No, it's Sora possessing Kairi's body from Unreality. Xehanort knows Sora is there because he can't speak. Kairi doesn't do anything for herself here, Sora literally takes direct control of her body to protect her, which she at least seems to have been consenting of but it's still a line that shouldn't be crossed. If anything, this highlights Nomura's leaning in on Sora abusing his power, saving Kairi at all costs.
I really love how you resonate with the franchise and how much it means to you. Really feels like you've found an identity in the gaming world. There are plenty of games you still enjoy and love, but it's incredible how much you connect with this. I've played so many games and franchises, I wouldn't even begin to think which ones I connect with on undeniable levels. It really is heartwarming to perceive.
Man it's been so nice watching someone play through the games for the first time. I love this series and I'm really glad there are still new people joining us on the journey
i have loved watching these and crying with you and grieving with you :,) ive been an avid kh fan since i was 4 years old, sitting in my mother's lap as she played kh1. im now turning 18 next week and im proud to say that this game has shaped me as an individual, and i couldnt imagine my life without this game in it. thank you for sharing your experience and love of the game. im so happy to see that this series has impacted you as much as its impacted me. 💗💗💗💗
Having had time to think on this, I agree that Kairi could have done more. However, there are things to consider. Yes, one of the most successful ex-Keyblade Masters trained her, alongside Lea. Yes, she has used the keyblade since KH 2. However, as skilled as she is, she isn't nearly on the same level as Riku or Sora. She hasn't had nearly enough time. If anything, they most likely rushed her training, and Lea's, in an effort to make sure that all 7 people were there. The progress she made was impressive, to be sure, but she needed more training. Sadly, I don't believe they properly showed this in KH 3 or the dlcs. Here, on the other hand, I think it comes out much better. Tl;dr, Kairi is impressive, but needs more training. I think this game shows and informs us of that better.
Gods, what a journey this has been. Every single moment watching you play these games has been so fucking emotional, and so nostalgic, and so wonderfully enlightening. I'm glad I could board this train, whether it was in Twilight Town or not, and it's worth every moment of being choked up and on the edge of weeping like a wee babe. That Bond of Flame in the background is fucking boss, btw, jelly.
I just want to say, over the past week my wife and I have had COVID so I've been living on RUclips to kill time. I discovered you as a recommendation after watching another person do a kingdom hearts playthrough and I've just ended up binging all your videos. I grew up with this series and watching you discover it and fall in love with it made me relive all those feelings so thank you for the entertainment and the memories! PS. Even though it seems you've played through most, if not all final fantasies, I'd totally watch you play through any of them again to get your take on them!
first of all i hope you and your wife get better soon! second, thank you so much for this comment. i love being able to connect with people through our shared love for kingdom hearts. it's been such a wonderful journey going through the games and i'm so excited for the future of the series. thank you so much for watching and get better!
“I don’t want Kingdom Hearts to end… WAIT. I have everything installed RIGHT NOW!” The average journey of a Kingdom Hearts fan, ladies and gentlemen! Jokes aside, this was an extremely sweet playthrough! Your love of all the characters is evident in how you constantly broke down at their themes LOL Also yeah Kairi got absolutely SHAFTED in this game, next thing you know, Namine is gonna be wielding a Keyblade better than her in the next one
I have just watched all of your videos about KH and I must say you have a new follower. It was so nice to see how deeply connected you became with the game, its lore and characters! This has been one of my favourite games of all times and I have been playing it since 20 years ago when I was only 15. I grew up with it and still it is part of my life. Seeing someone playing this game for the first time is always a journey, but yours was pure emotion. Really, you could have not connected with the game in any better way. Now let's all wait together for the 20th anniversary which will be amazing! PS: I'd love to see your reaction to the meeting between Sora and Yozoora, so if you can please upload that too! :) MAY OUR HEARTS BE OUR GUIDING KEYS!
Hi Nyla! Thank you so SO much for taking the time to watch everything and leave a comment. I appreciate that so much! I still have a few more KH videos to make (reCoM, Days and LimitCut/Secret Episode) so the Yozora reactions will be up once I beat his boss fight. Thank you again. KH has become my favorite things and I'm so glad I decided to play these games.
I watched this at 3am as one does when kingdom hearts enters your life! Rhythm games are not my bag but the music of this series and the fact that it was a journey's end for you made this such a special experience! I never would have imagined that my favorite series would lead me to cross paths with all the wonderful people I've met through you and your community! It's such a fitting ending that the last note so to speak was played on the 19th anniversary of the release of kh1, while the wait for content will be a long one it reminds me of the title of one of my favorite flash episodes "what's past is prologue". The memories, revisits, and theories are more than enough to keep us company till the next one!
Wally! I am so happy to have met you and so many other amazing people because of these games. Thank you so much for being here and watching and screaming about KH with me. Very excited for the future!
Congrats on joining the wait. The eternal, damnable wait. Suffer with us. Current one on the agenda next would be Dark Road, seeing that finished, but goddamn the update got delayed from September to who knows what. Oh, if you have a PSVR, you can do the KH VR thing. It ain't much, but it's still a lovely experience regardless. And about the post credits scene: I feel like Mickey got so traumatized about leaving Aqua behind in the Realm of Darkness, so now that if anyone's in danger he'll jump straight in to help damn the consequences. "Oh no, it's over!..." *Dies in the game* Such fantastic timing.
So, I've actually been watching your KH journey as you've been uploading them and honestly it's been a blast! I love watching people start the series only to become die hard fans like me! I played the first KH the year it came out, and I've been hooked since! With all that said, as much as I love KH....What the hell, Nomura? How does it make sense that Kairi cannot take on Xehanort..., but Sora can? Let me just say that I love Sora, but he hasn't had any real form of training. At least, as far as I know. And not only did he manage to beat Xehanort himself, but also Ansem, Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and the rest of Organization XIII! How does that make sense, but Kairi is not strong enough? And I get that Sora is the main character, but come on. This seems so...dumb. Kairi may not be finished with her training yet, but she HAS had training. First with Merlin, then Yen Sid. Riku has gotten moments to shine in the series, so why not Kairi? Hell, she's a Prince of Heart AND a Keyblader! That should make her super OP or something! Ugh. So, yeah. That boss fight with Xehanort really peeved me off. Buuuut I do admit, I'm excited for Kairi to study under Aqua. I hope Nomura doesn't just shove that information in the background. Do a full game with Kairi and Aqua together! Anyway, it's been a blast watching you. And I'm excited to see what the future of Kingdom Hearts has in store for us all!
I would love to see some attention given to the Kairi-Aqua training arc. We shall see! Either way I'm still very excited for the future of the series. I have a feeling we are in for some wild stuff. Thank you so much for watching and being a part of the journey!
What a trip, what a journey. Thank you for sharing in your travels. What's that? We're going again? Don't tell me to shut up & get in I've been waiting in the backseat.... quietly.
Okay I had a comment here recommending you a video on SoRiku analysis (a video essay basically) and YT keeps deleting it. Idk if it's because they don't like mentioning or putting links of other videos on the comments or maybe there was some word they didn't like in it even tho I didn't find anything wrong with how I'd worded it. So I guess I can't share it with you
As embarrassing as it is for me, I didn't noticed it until a let's player said it 😅 The secret ending always teases the showdown of the next game. I don't think that we will see Sora in the next game as all, let alone that it will be KH4^^' It will be pretty sure about Yozora and his journey, what ends obviously to him crystallizing Sora. And we play Riku simultaneously like in dream drop distance, or it makes a time skip to the point where Sora awakens and Riku arrives in Quadratum as we have seen it. Then, MoM will come down and attack Riku or the boys to test if they are ready now for his endgame or at least getting an impression of them. That's my theory. But if I am right, I would appreciate it more if we had a Kingdom Hearts Reload with Yozora and a separated Riku game. But we'll see 😄 Thank you for making this videos. I saw you once on twitch as well, you're a great person, and this supercuts are amazing, and, and I truly hope it doesn't offend you, you do me a favor by not making me watch hundreds of hours to get your impression. I already played Kingdom Hearts, I feel your joy and it warms my heart to see your love for it. I am 32 now, I am on the train since it came out first time 2001 for PS2, and I love it still and feel the love you feel on it. Thank you for making me relive this feelings and congratulations to the incredible journey you had so far =) It's not over. So long Violet!
I never rly thought much about sora x riku before finding ur channel and thought that that ship was weird. But it honestly makes wayyy more sense than sora and kairi.
they've written off kairi from the next game or maybe not write my words, she will appear at the late game and save both sora and riku's asses after finishing her training nomura planted the seeds and he can't simply make her unimportant again i'm a foreteller and i know i'm right, y'all see it when it comes out
KH has saved me too. This year has been a total garbage for me in my life. I have had many problems and dramas that have affected me and my family. Going back to the KH Fandom and playing KH 3 now made me relive the love I have taken for this saga for 10 years. With the end of 3 I cried a lot, I love each character although they lack a little time in action and on stage for some (especially Kairi, damn it let her show herself). KH has definitely been my lifeboat this year. So every reaction I see from others like you makes me appreciate the saga even more.
Hey, I've really enjoyed watching your reactions to this series-- I found them when I was like 11 and have replayed them countless times-- so it's a little hard for me to replay them these days and feel hype like that. I do still listen to the music and get excited over news and stuff-- and looking at it all from the eyes of someone else makes it feel new again, so thank you for that. I really appreciate it. This series is my all-time favorite too, so much that I used to share it with my mom and all my friends, but it was nice to grow up with. Have you done a 358/2 Days reaction yet? I can't remember if I saw one-- that was my favorite title growing up, along with Birth By Sleep. Enjoy this series as long as you can. c:
I still need to make videos for KH1, CoM, Days and the secret episode cutscenes /boss fight. Plus I decided to slowly replay everything LOL. Thank you very much for watching and sharing your love for with KH with me.
It really was a baffling decision to have Sora (Or his spirit or...whatever Nomura nonsense) need to "take over" for Kairi in the final battle. Even people who really kind of hate Kairi as "Sora's inevitable love interest" as I (and I think you too?) do, I was so excited for her to get her own agency and be her own badass with a Keyblade. And then it was like a wet fart and while the fight was neat, I really don't understand the point of that decision. Even those of us who see the obvious real ship of Soriku want Kairi still to be a badass on her own, just give it to us already Nomura ahhhhhhhhh!
"I finished Kingdom Hearts" Well it sad but it also very the real fun parts starts. Staying up late and talke with someone about Kingdom Hearts and what could comes next. The theorys the community. That is a the power.
For everyone watching this video much down the road, asking for [insert character] game please do not get your hopes up. I'll explain why. Per Nomura, Sora is and always will be the face and protagonist of Kingdom Hearts. This is a quote from him in an interview: "As far as spin-offs go, we've had main characters that were not Sora, but in terms of the mainline series, I think Sora is actually the only real candidate for the main character. I think if Sora is no longer the main character then I would also feel like that would indicate the end to the numbered titles. He's that important to the series." As Nomura said, yes there were other main characters for certain games in Spinoffs, namely BBS and Days. However let's keep in mind what the true purpose of the Spinoffs were: fleshing out the very important gaps in the series, gaps which Sora could not be around for. Melody of Memory is a Spinoff game, but it's a rhythm game first and foremost, celebrating the music and legacy of Kingdom Hearts. Ironically it's also a TLDR for the series outside of the mobile stuff. Kairi really isn't getting shafted by Nomura here. If they had just made a game about Kairi and her memories, it would only be an hour long. That's not worth making an entire game over. So they make it special in the end. And we do get to see her in action, and to her credit she holds her own decently well again Memory Xehanort. But it's her Memory of Xehanort, the very same man who literally killed her. Her relying on Sora (at least her Memory it's still unclear on how Sora is there) to defeat Xehanort makes perfect sense. He is the strongest person she knows. They defeated Xehanort together, and he returns to do so again. Now, after 4 comes out, we could see a few Spinoffs to help fill in gaps between Melody of Memory and 4 as we have no idea how long that will be, but I doubt it. The ending very much shows its after the year time skip of Remind, pretty so to boot.
So I don't know if this ever got fully confirmed but rumor has it that when KH1 was first being made Sora and Riku were created and thats it. Nomura had no intention on making a third friend. However Disney forced him to make a female character to be friends alongside Sora and Riku and thats why Kairi was created. SO the idea is that Nomura has never really cared for Kairi because he never wanted to create her in the first place and honestly that lines up with what we have seen for the character since like KH2 at a minimum
I think that every storyteller at some point or other has a blind-spot to their own work, leaving a gapping plot hole. Kairi was likely never meant to be developed at first. I think they developed characters like Namine and Xion, who though they are their own characters, are reflections of Kairi. They were clearly meant to be insight into her until they could land on "who" Kairi is to the story and the world, but they never finished their homework it seems. You can pick apart anything if you look hard enough, but this was a glaringly obvious issue that should have been resolved somehow.
Guess I've reached the end (for now) of your KH journey. It was pretty fun honestly! Techincally you still have Dark Road, but maybe you've already watched it and the video just isn't on YT
Later we find out that sora is it super smash brothers alongside other strong swordsman Pit(Kid icarus Uprising), Link(Legend of Zelda), Shulk(Xenoblade Chronicles),Marth(Fire Emblem),Hero(Dragon Quest) and Cloud!
I think replaying the games again is a very good idea now that you've done a full run of everything. Playing them in chronological order would be really fun, because now that you understand the timeline and characters, you can actually see it for what it is, rather than a coanfianfoasfnaoif of story lines lol. But I think BBS, KH, KHII, and DDD are especially necessary. BBS because of Dark Road, KH and KHII because they're main storyline installments, and DDD because Dreameaters.
Nomura really don't care about Kairi, I even think than from KH2 to KH3 her personality changes, in KH2 she use to have a more assertive personality and now she is now the cute sweet girl.
Yeah the whole Kairy turning into Sora is a very weird choice. I get what its supposed to mean. But he couldve done the same thing with Kairy just using just Sora's keyblade instead of taking her out comepletely.
This is my favorite dearly beloved. So fun. And I’m so excited to what’s to come from the series. Anniversary next year gonna be hype. OMG AND I WAS WAITING FOR A GAY MOMENT LOL AS I TYPE IT HAPPANED 😂
I'll be honest I really enjoyed this game but when I saw they put Riku with Dream Eaters I was disappointed they could have put him with Kairi and Mickey changing the summon to one of the other masters or kept Mickey and added Lea with his keyblade even though that would technically make him too present in the game
You wanted the non-keyblade master Kairi to beat the strongest keyblade master besides Sora? That would make Kairi stronger than all of the other keyblade wielders besides Sora.
"I can't imagine my life without Kingdom Hearts."
That is a feeling that many of us that bonded with this series feel.
This is so beautiful, thank you.
@@PermanentViolet You're welcome. I was just saying what my heart felt.

But now they are this:
Please work!
“Yes! Yes! Give me a whole game about that!”
If that isn’t the biggest mood. If they don’t give us at least a little bit of Aqua training Kairi and them kicking butt I’m going to be so mad.
Chirithy: I let it slide last time coming here but don’t get used it to, this place is sacred.
Fairy Godmother: fuck ya’ll I go where I want
I had no idea of the adventure I was embarking on when Violet began streaming this series at the beginning of the year. After knowing nothing about Kingdom Hearts I now consider myself a fan and am very excited for what the future holds. Thank you for being willing to share this journey with us and giving these videos the same care and reverence each game deserves.
P.S. I will never forget the time Violet admitted that she missed Donald in Hollow Bastion during KH1.
Thank you for being a part of the journey, Chadley.
And I will never admit to saying that about Donald.
You know, it doesn't matter if you are a Kairi Hater, a Fan or simply do not care about her. You still feel bad for the SHAFT she gets all the time and think "JUST GIVE HER SOMETHING ALREADY!"
Not even a Kairi fan and I think she should have her own standalone game.
“thank you for watching” and thank you for being here for the ride
It may have been 19 years when it released in NA, but in Japan is was released in March of 2002 making the 20th anniversary in a few months. From Nomura’s own statement, its gonna be huge and they have something big announced
So technically I still need to make my KH1 video. That will be next.
I'm also working on Data Master Xehanort. When I beat him... it will finally be time for the secret boss.
You got this! Was a pleasure binging these reaction videos for the past week
@@LanzTheMaster Okay but the MX fight is pure chaos LOL. I regret all my life choices each time I go in there to learn the moves. Thank you so much for watching!
@@PermanentViolet MX was my favorite to learn. Old man speedy lol
@@LanzTheMaster My favorite is Xion so far!
@@PermanentViolet Xion took me 15 hours on harder difficulties/stipulations. Very challenging & well well designed!
You hit the nail on the head with everything about Kairi, even in the game where she stars in, she isn’t a playable character
“It’s up to you Riku, to take care of the rest” Riku off on a new adventure all by himself to find his true love 🥺🥺🥺
@@ShirouBrando they are talking about Sora. But I think you knew that.
@@ShirouBrando yeah that's unfortunatly true. Sora and Kairi are obviously meant to be. I'm still looking forward to the future of the series though.
@@ShirouBrando yeah it definitly is. Sora's most famous quote is literally "my friends are my power". I think the series should end with all 3 of them on the paopu tree just like in KH1. Nice way to make everything feel full circle.
@@ShirouBrando Bet.
@@ShirouBrando what even IS your basis for Naminé being Riku's true love over Sora? Isn't it easier to just say there won't be any romance? Cuz Riku and Naminé aren't a thing either.
9:06 Wow I love this Kairi game!
10:24 NOMURAAAAAAA
Three things I learnt from this game:
- Square doesn't like Kairi
- Quadratum
- Kairi training with Aqua becomes canon
By the end, as Violet starts sobbing that she finished Kingdom Hearts, and Riku's Theme in the background, and then as she downs her face and lose in the song... That timed so perfectly, it was moving.
We NEED a game about Kairi training with Aqua. Maybe they could find the new seven princesses of heart
KH358/2 - Roxas needed a reminder of who's in the Organization
KH2 - Kairi remembers that things happened. She misses Sora so much that her long lost sister notices and locks Sora in a flower bud to pay the ultimate price. She whispers to him before he is sent to eternal sleep: "Thank Naminè" AKA the magic words that gave birth to Roxas
KHBBS - Earth, Wind, and Water are warriors that fight the old man army.
Featuring Mickey the Wizard/Swordsman
KH0.2 - and now, a sneak peek at Water's musical memories.
KHBC - *Among Us*
KHUX - War crimes are committed just for an Among Us game.
Welcome to being caught up
Being caught up just means I get to replay everything and see what I missed the first time haha!
@@PermanentViolet It also means you can do challenge runs or fun runs of the series. One of my persona favorites it’s KH3 Critical
Aww Violet 💗 Your reaction videos are always so precious. I really feel your emotions.
Thank you so much for being a part of the journey.
I’m HOPING, but I ain’t holding my breath too hard
Your journey through kingdom hearts has been an incredible thing to watch.
Thank you for watching.
The part where kairi becomes sora reminds me of a D-Link from BBS
I'm glad you talked about Kairi being constantly put away from the action. I love KH story a lot but at this point it feels like the writers are playing with our need to see Kairi in action. JUST LET HER FIGHT DAMN IT
Her entire transition to becoming a keyblade wielder was pretty lame too. Never showed her fight once before, Riku’s just like “hey want a keyblade, we’re handing these out now”
Then she can’t even fight her own Memory of Xehanort without Sora’s help -_-
@@tiamod I mean i guess its a pretty good metaphor for trauma
@@tiamod You made me realize something. Riku could initially summon the Kingdom Key but lost it to Sora. Then he gets Way to Dawn. Then he makes Destiny Embrace and just hands it to Kairi like he's giving out fliers. After breaking Way to Dawn, he just makes Braveheart. How is Riku making all these keyblades?
It's such a thrill to watch your experiences while playing these games. Even watching your streams since you came back is really wholesome. I'm looking forward to the content you will put out in the future! See you soon on the interwebs!
Love, Dutchie
Thank you so much Dutchie! Take care!
This is such an incredible thing to say, thank you. It really means a lot to me. May your heart be your guiding key.
MoM is such a lovely game.
Ahh, congrats on finishing the series and catching up with us!

Thank you for sharing yours with us
I agree, it's completely life changing. Thank you being a part of it.
I am so happy that I found you through your Kingdom Hearts series, I am now able to enjoy your stream and live all these emotion with you.
Congratulations for finishing Kingdom Hearts, I am excited to see what's next :)
I'm so excited for the future! We are in for another wild ride.
You are absolutely right. Thank you so much.
Amazing video Violet. Hilarious and emotional as usual. It makes me feel like going outside and screaming “Kingdom Hearts!” But my neighbors might call the police. 🤣 also I need that Aqua and Kairi game like Pooh need honey!
Thank you so much Ace! Can't wait to see what is in store for us in the next game.
We really need an ACTUAL Kairi centered game
Watching this made me tear up. Now i also gonna replay all the games!!
I know physically we see Sora and I agree they should have given Kairi the spotlight, but I think the message is that the best way to confront trauma is with help.
yeh its like when riku transformed into ansem against roxas
They couldve just done that with just the keyblade tbh. And then Kairy thank sora as the keybalde disapears.
A fictional world. Or in other words, a fantasy.
A FINAL Fantasy.
Thank you for always being here and thank you for perceiving.
Man it's been so nice watching someone play through the games for the first time. I love this series and I'm really glad there are still new people joining us on the journey
I'm glad I found your channel and could watch you go through these games I love for the first time!
i have loved watching these and crying with you and grieving with you :,) ive been an avid kh fan since i was 4 years old, sitting in my mother's lap as she played kh1. im now turning 18 next week and im proud to say that this game has shaped me as an individual, and i couldnt imagine my life without this game in it. thank you for sharing your experience and love of the game. im so happy to see that this series has impacted you as much as its impacted me. 💗💗💗💗
"Lil' Nort."
I may as well be one of those stars in the Final World, because I am now dead.
JUSTICE FOR KAIRI
Riku always has to pick up his slack. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
I want a kairi and aqua Game 🥺.
Since beating this game I've added The Way to the Dawn to my collection! And thank you so much for watching and loving KH and everything. Thank you.

Not me literally playing KH1 as we speak...
MAY OUR HEARTS BE OUR GUIDING KEYS!
Thanks for playing kingdom hearts series , is so especial. Waiting for kh 4
Your uploads make me so happy!
Thank you so much for watching and being a part of the journey!

i watched all of your KH videos here in brazil, huge. 😆✌
How true is that quote. "I can't imagine my life without Kingdom Hearts"
I like that this game confirms that the good ending of the Secret Episode of KH3 is canon since Sora is shown to still be alive in some way
Okay I had a comment here recommending you a video on SoRiku analysis (a video essay basically) and YT keeps deleting it.
Points to Kairi for drawing that fight against One of History’s Most Powerful Wielders out as long as she did, at least
they've written off kairi from the next game
or maybe not
write my words, she will appear at the late game and save both sora and riku's asses after finishing her training
nomura planted the seeds and he can't simply make her unimportant again
i'm a foreteller and i know i'm right, y'all see it when it comes out
KH has saved me too.
Riku was like, "Bitch sit down, he is mine."
Blasting the spider with zettaflare seems completely reasonable 🤣
YES why didn’t they include Symphony of Sorcery?? Chernabog would’ve been a perfect boss 😭
We need more Kairi content so that the final reveal of the series that Kairi was Kingdom Hearts all along will have maximum emotional impact!
This game should have had La La land style musical number as an opening. Imagine Sora and riku ballroom dancing 😭
First step after beating Kingdom Hearts: Replaying Kingdom Hearts :)
This is the way
9:32
Xehanort: grabs keyblade
No! This isn’t how you’re supposed to play the game!
You know your a real fan when you play through the series 5 times lolz
He's that important to the series."
As Nomura said, yes there were other main characters for certain games in Spinoffs, namely BBS and Days.
I personally found this game improved my rhythm and coordination
Her reaction when she saw Fairy godmother lmao
I'm hoping we get at least a bit of Aqua, Kairi, and Xion looking for Sora.
Also, I want everyone in the gang to be playable at some point.
Kingdom Hearts - Melody of Memory Reactions
When you realise that spider was your Heartless.
Violet crying about finishing KH while Roxas gets beat up by music notes will never not be funny
Did you post a reaction for Limit Cut? It's part of the remind DLC that follows Riku (kind of) while Kairi's asleep.
My headcannon about the Final Key (le sparkly star)
In a way, she could be an allusion to the unused Stella Nox Fleuret from FF VersusXIII
Nomura really don't care about Kairi, I even think than from KH2 to KH3 her personality changes, in KH2 she use to have a more assertive personality and now she is now the cute sweet girl.
10:12 imagine if it was actually sora that pulled up
Yeah the whole Kairy turning into Sora is a very weird choice. I get what its supposed to mean. But he couldve done the same thing with Kairy just using just Sora's keyblade instead of taking her out comepletely.
Yeah well. Not over yet. We just have to wait another 14 years for the next title. :D
This is my favorite dearly beloved. So fun. And I’m so excited to what’s to come from the series. Anniversary next year gonna be hype. OMG AND I WAS WAITING FOR A GAY MOMENT LOL AS I TYPE IT HAPPANED 😂
I love this comment. LMFAO thank you
I love the content. Thank you 😊
Well, to be fait, you still have Dark Road that is coming to finish this winter x) But yeah, most of the stuff are done :')
That would make Kairi stronger than all of the other keyblade wielders besides Sora.
and now we wait for the next KH....whatever that will be......Whenever that will be
