I've always loved the final lines of Ansem, Xemnas, and Young Xehanort. Ansem and Xemnas are both deep and what not. And then there's Young Xehanort. Ansem: Even when I was betrayed, I felt nothing. Nothing matters anymore. Even had I done something to change my fated outcome, it would not have made any difference in the end. But I do not need you pity. You have beaten me! Take pride in that and go further than I ever could! Xemnas: For the first time in a long while... I finally feel something. The emptiness of my lost companions fills me with what I think is lonliness. This is why feelings are better left forgotten. They bring nothing but misery and pain. Those of you who carry on regardless of this pain... you have my respect. Young Xehanort: Screw you! Screw your friends! I've already won! You've already lost! Enjoy your feeble victory over my dead bo- Haha, never change sassy Young Xehanort.
Funny thing about the KH gang..... all of them get their clothes picked out for them by the fairies. So it's the fairies fashion that's on point not riku lol
I just want to say that I really love your positive attitude for KH3. KH3 to this day gets so much undeserved hate. I won’t deny it has its flaws and that it could have been better. But people sometimes act like it is total trash and has done nothing good, wich just isn’t true! Criticism is important because without criticism things wouldn’t improve but you have to stay reasonable. And what people really have to understand is that the own opinion isn’t a fact! Only because you didn’t like KH3 doesn’t mean it is trash. This is a very subjective thing and is even more true for a series like KH. KH is very niche and isn’t for everyone but for its core audience it is something very special, unique and dear to the heart.
I understand the critiques. I would have loved to see FF characters in the base game and not just Limitcut, for one. But this game was so wonderful to play after going through the entire series. I know it was very hard for fans to wait such a long time while it was in development but I felt like it was made with so much love and attention to detail. Ultimately, I had a blast playing it (technically, I'm still doing data fights haha) and the memories are very special. Anyway, thanks for watching and sharing your passion for KH with me.
@@PermanentViolet I have to thank you for letting us be a part of your journey! It is such a blast to see how much people can enjoy KH. Especially as someone who is with this series since KH1 in 2002. KH is often so belittled and trash talked that it is always nice to see that it can still bring strong emotions and joy out of people who are new to the series, like it did for me all theses years. And I actually do agree on many criticism too. I would have loved to see more FF characters involved, having arena battles in the coliseum or being able to visit Radiant Garden. But I think besides all criticism KH3 is still a wonderful journey with much love put into it.

@@paulparker3826 For me personally KH2 is still the better game for both gameplay and story. It felt in both aspects more thought out and polished for me but that does not make KH3 bad. I try to not let my love and nostalgia for 2 change my view on 3. KH3 is unique and lovable in its own way.
I feel like Re MIND was an extended director’s cut of the end of KH3, but that’s okay as it gave us some freaking amazing gameplay moments. Freaking Kairi went off at the end, Roxas was playable. I wish the party members could’ve been playable in the climax from the base game, but the wait made it worth it.
The entire DLC on Sora's perspective is almost gives me "Flash" vibes as how the extent of time traveling and Sora is asking nothing in return by risking his own existence to be teleported off this world to save his friends and allies in the process. Though I do wish you could play as every one else or at least switch to them right off the bat. (though it's almost stealing a bit on FF7R) I would like that you can play/customize the guardians of lights on the data fights entirely instead of Sora only. though the only unnecessary part of it is the data greetings. (in my opinion anyway)
If you pay close attention during the video you might be able to pickup on a slight difference in Violet's enthusiasm playing as Roxas vs Michael Moose.
Vexen isn’t innately evil, he’s just someone who has a big ego due to his intelligence. He”s got the “evil scientist” trope but, in reality, he’s got loyalty to Ansem the Wise and does have morals way deep down in his heart. I totally get why some people don’t like him and think he’s just bad and evil, but Even/Vexen is a character I personally think is a bit underrated. You talk a lot about mental health in these playthroughs, and I actually believe Even has some kind of personality/social disorder that affects how he interacts with people, it especially comes out in his scenes with Demyx (and this is coming from someone with social issues and mental illness, so I kind of see some of myself in Even when he’s interacting with people). He struggles to properly understand other people, but his true goal is to be on the good side of the fight. It’s definitely not obvious though, so I don’t blame anyone for initially disliking him. Edit: I think a lot of people who were “gifted” growing up could probably relate to Even, with being very intelligent but not very socially smart, and came across as bossy and mean a lot as a kid. I’ve definitely had moments where I had a bit of an inflated head because I was considered “gifted”, but as I got older, I didn’t want to be different from my peers, I wanted to just be part of the crowd. I hated not understanding social cues, I hated being called “bossy”, and I truly had a big heart for everyone and was loyal to my friends. And I think Even has some of this in his character development. He was always intelligent and clever, he LOVES research. But he also loves his family he’s bonded with at Radiant Garden, he respects and looks up to Ansem the Wise as his mentor and was sad and missed him when he went missing. He’s loyal to the RG Crew. If I had to make parallels, when Even was a nobody and was “Vexen”, that’s like when you’re considered “gifted” in your childhood. But Even, after being recompleted, is growing out of that and trying to find yourself, because being “gifted” as an adult doesn’t really do anything but make you feel alone and unsure what to do anymore.
@@PermanentViolet My sugestions for those would be once you've seen the fights a couple of times would be to look up a guide on how to do the fights no hit. You might not be able to do it no-hit, but at least they will teach you the moveset of the enemy so you will know when to dodge and some of them become a lot easier like that. I suggest always looking for the part you are stuck in and avoiding parts further into the fight as some of the DM's could have been easly spoiled. Regardless good luck and I hope you enjoy it
When you realize that the music that plays when fighting as Roxas, is a mix of his and Xion’s themes. It makes me tear up every time. Re:Mind really was a wild journey, once more I’m happy to witness your reactions!
I don't blame Kairi saying please work. 😂 Given she was pulled to fight last minute and now she fighting a man in creepy armor, I'd be hoping my attacks worked too.
This DLC fixed every major problem I had with KH3’s story and finale, as well as legit be the best content in the entire series (even more than KH2’s Final Mix content). The ReMIND episode alone is probably my favorite endgame in the entire franchise.
Yozora does indeed look like Riku but if you zoom in closer, he's actually a blend of Sora and Riku's designs. His hair is brown near the roots and silver at the tips. His jacket sleeve is the same as Riku's but with red shoulder pads the same red from Sora's outfit and mimicking Sora's hoodie. His collar has the same plaid pattern in the same place as Sora's, but the buttons are arranged like Riku's. The glove around his wrist matches Riku's but then turn into the same shape as Sora's near the knuckles. He also has a skull embroidered onto his sleeve wearing three crowns (same shape as Sora's crown necklace) arranged to look like Sora's spikey hair and the Kingdom Key crossed below it. His undershirt is the same shape as Riku's but its hem is red. "Sora" means sky while the name "Yozora" means "night sky." Also, he has heterochromia with Riku's blue in one eye and Sora's red in the other eye. He also appears in a secret ending paralleling Sora and Riku in the city. Just something to go "hmmm" over.
Kairi saying "please work" absolutely makes sense considering before that the she had NEVER fought anyone for real, her only experience was training with Lea and smashing a couple Heartless in KH2 she is still absolutely a novice fighting the (arguably) strongest keyblade master in known history her being nervous adds to her character, it doesn't substract from it, I thinking having her suddenly kick the whole organization's ass from all her offscreen training would've been a weak way to "fix" her character. This also applies to being captured by Xemnas, yes she had an upper hand at furst but again, Xemnas has years of experience and the move he used to capture her was enough to capture Sora as well so that shows the level she developed for Xemnas to be pushed to the same level as if he were fighting Sora, someome whonwe know he wouldn't underestimate It would've been cool to see her do more, yes, but honestly she did just as much as everyone else (literally all of them having leagues more real experience than her so Kairi catching up to them is a feat in it own right)
Also this dlc gave a bit more context to her capture aswell. She and the others attacked xemnas and she even got a few hits off on him before hitting her with a powerful drain attack. One which weakened both her and sora that much they couldnt help RAX in the following fight. Sora recovered quick because hes sora but kairi didnt and was immediately grabbed afterwards whilst she was still exhausted. People need to rememeber she has had 0 real combat experience and all these org members even gave the other more experienced fighters trouble.
@@SPIKEYROXAS exactly and saying they "did her dirty" when the only reason Sora was able to survive and reach the final world in the first place was because of her powers, everyone wanted her to just be another badass fighting wacking heartless left and right but ever since KH2 I would've prefered to have seen her unique Princess of heart abilities be explored a bit more since those allow her to do things no one else can, having her fight is cool but imagine if she could actually learn to harness and control that power? Like Riku managed to wield Darkness without being corrupted, it would make her an invaluable ally with her own skillset

Couldn’t have said it better myself. The line makes perfect sense in context, Kairi is the least experienced fighter by a lot, and her first real high stakes battle is one where even Sora is struggling with, she’s doing better than she should, and she’s keeping up with everyone.

Tbh Chain of Memories is basically a Riku game too. Sora’s just the prologue where he falls into a trap and takes a nap while Riku saves the day So just like dream drop distance

If you ever remeber one thing is that Music plays a huge role in the teasers. The opening piano chords in the last cutscene are a variation of Somnus for FF15. Yozora is a redesign of Noctics from not FF15 but from FF13 versus. thats where the different colored eyes come from. So we are about to get FF13versus in a sense inside of KH. Also If you fight and beat Yozora there is another cutscene confirming pretty much all of this mimicking a scene from a trailer of FF13versus. KH is about to get VERY VERY interesting!
ever since your kh3 video, youve really changed my perspective on kairi, and it hits so hard in this dlc. they SERIOUSLY did her wrong! easily kidnapped, not even confident in her own abilities... she needs a whole redemption game!
Her not being confident makes sense and I think its good for her character. She does not have the fighting experience like the other characters and screwed over before. With her not being confident in her abilities it will make her future development more satisfying
Regarding the ending, That building is a very famous building located in Tokyo as you said, Shibuya to be more specific. It shows up in a lot of games labelled differently. But there is one universe where its labelled "104" specifically. Nomura said on an interview that its not what we think it is, But I think its BS.
Honestly it could be a double lie. It’s not TWEWY universe but it is. Similar to how in TWEWY they say the characters are not in Shibuya but the Underground. The reaper game version of Shibuya. Perhaps Sora is in a version like where he’s not really in Shibuya but he is. As for Riku well he’s straight up in Verum Rex aka Versus XIII.

You know what, I would love for you to react to the like-300 page document (don't worry, they are mostly pictures) about why Kingdom Hearts 3 is not actually happening in the Realm of Light or, even, for the first time. It's called the Sleeping Realm Theory and touches on a lot of things that also left me dubious and confused, like Meow Wow being present outside of a sleeping world or why all the other summons are vaguely incorporeal/elemental by contrast. Or, I mean, Riku's Hairstyle. Why does no one mention it? There are so many little things that the theory goes to explain that could, otherwise, only be explained with plot convenience or bad writing, like people (Goofy in 2.9 for example) remembering things they have not experienced or have been told. Barry Kramer had it explained to him in 6/7 hours on his stream, but that was while working on his KH3 video, chatting around and memeing (Wha Happun). Still, I feel like you would really like it as, for example, sheds light on some ... "conservative" translation choices from the Japanese in the english translation. For example, in the realm of darkness, during 2.9, Mickey tells Riku that he finally found the strength to protect "What Matters", but in the Japanese original text what is said, according to a more literal translation is "Your important, cherished person" and, I mean, we all know who he's talking about ;D. I hope, even if it won't be part of a stream or a video, that you might read it on your own as it certainly heightened and bettered my Kingdom Hearts experience, so I hope it might do the same for you. Something to note, remember how a lot of the organization members told Sora countless times that he going to get what’s coming to him? Well, the fact that Sora and Riku are in the real world (so to speak) is not a good thing. Sora broke a law against nature which was his overuse of the power of waking. His punishment is that he’s getting the “ban hammer” as penance for his mistake. Riku was also involved so he’s getting the same.
I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere else, but regarding Yozora and the real-world locations, I just want to point out that before FFXV was FFXV, it was FF Versus XIII, which had a strikingly different tone.

Playing as Roxas (seemly with his kh2 boss move set) and the guardians battle were my favorite parts of the dlc! Admittedly I also took like 45 extra mins beating the pink shadows in scala because I wasn't sure we would be back and I needed to explore that beautiful world. Shout out to data greeting for having our backs on that one!
23:34 Maybe you are right about Vexen, cause I always saw him both in the game and in the mangas as an obsessive scientist. But remember, without him we'd never have Xion or any vessels to help Naminé in KH3
16:27 Sadly this is the truth of KH. As much as we all love and appreciate Sora, it feels like Nomura’s other characters need WAY more spot light than what they actually receive. Roxas deserves another game where he learns how to master Dual-wielding (lore wise, he probably only used it for like 20 minutes? Lmao), Aqua and Terra both need a game to deal with the trauma they’ve went through, Kairi needs a game where she gets stronger and possibly deals with Darkness as one of the 7 hearts, and Riku needs his own stand alone game (not one where he needs to share the screen time with Sora). At the end of the day though it feels like Nomura doesn’t want to share the screen time which is sad since I’d argue Sora is the least interesting character compared/not as well written as the ones listed above ://

There’s a theory that he’s the Master of Masters (it’s one of the main theories about the identity of the Master of Masters. The other lead theory is that the Master of Masters is adult Sora who has gone insane from time traveling so much)

Kinda fits his arc at the time. Looks like it was based of chain of memories and the guy just got done being an ass to his friends, probably why they aren't on there.
As I rewatched this, I realized that the Sora is MoM theory falls apart. If Xehanort met him in the past but said that he never learned who we was that meant it couldn’t have been Sora. And I don’t think Sora is the type of Disney rep that would be a cryptic angry guy
I love the last two boss fights. I especially love the short moments of playing as Terra and Axel. Plus I loved playing as Riku, Aqua, and Roxas again. Plus, I was surprised at how good I was at playing as Kairi.
Finally Kairi gets redeemed! It only took 13/14 years. No biggie. But in all seriousness, I hope we start not only playing as the other guardians of light, but also as much as we do Sora. Fingers crossed.
There are 2 more cutscenes in this dlc before and after the data battles. I dont know if you saw those/reacted to those already or not so just pointing it out to be safe.
Although KH3 wasn't my favorite game I have to say that fight as Kairi at the end is one of the best in the entire series. Best part of the DLC for me.
Ok so I don't know if anyone has explained it to you after streaming but before Final Fantasy 15 was Final Fantasy 15, it was a game in development originally called Final Fantasy Versus XIII. A lot of changes happened over the course of changing the game from Versus XIII to the FF15 we know today. A lot of Nomuras original vision for the game isnt intact. (Although I still love FF15), Noctis has a slight personality shift and an entire character got cut from the game and replaced with Lady Lunafreya. Yozora, the video game character guy is a reference to the Old Noctis from Versus XIII, which is why you hear slight hints of Somnus (the main FF15 theme) during that secret ending. His video game ad from the Toy Story world (The Verum Rex commercial) is also a nod to the old Versus XIII trailers. Yozora is basically Nomura not being able to make Versus XIII the way he originally wanted, so it appears that he's trying to put his ideas into KH instead.
good news as this is just the first saga and nomura said that the second saga has already been story board so chances are it will be another 10 years(hopefully not 20 yrs like the first one) of kh until the saga 3 if there will be one, hopefully
Iirc, Nomura confirmed that it WASNT the version from TWETY. There are also inconsistencies with TWETY Shibuya and the one Sora is in. Imo, it's probably KH's own version of Shibuya, or the one that's in Yozora's game. Edit: My bad, it was a question of of the new TWETY game was related, which Nomura said no, and the staff laughed. /shrug Nomura too much of a troll.
It'd be awesome if we get a isa lea xion and roxas game with all of them playable but it'd be focused on isa and his redemption getting a keyblade it'd also be awesome if they went through a river and Isa almost drowns and lea saves him if he does get a keyblade tho it'd probably be something like path of redemption keyblade
You said Sora and Riku are in Tokyo. For those who still doesn't know, actually Riku is not in Tokyo. Sora is in Shibuya Crossing in front the building 104 (From TWEWY) and Riku is in another place (I'm just gonna stop here and not telling where to not spoil in case anyone still didn't go so far in Melody of Memory).
That guy on the ending with the red eye you saw that sora and riku are walkong in a citty, that is the characther what the dinosaur had you mistaken for in the toy story world , he's name is yozora you can actually fight him in the dlc but its really hard to get to him and he is aswell really hard to beat
The "Sigil" thing would have flown better if it was said something closer to "this is the final lock on our time together in the organization" like their memories were locked away in a home with the lights off and the curtains closed. As they started finding that something wasn't right in their memories, the lights were turned on, when they called xion's name, the curtains opened but the doors were still locked, some of the best memories came up but not all of them, they had to break Xemnas's hold over their past. That would have been a better explanation than the vague "the Sigil!"
The Recusant Sigil is important to them as it is proof of their identity, proof that these 3 friends who were never supposed to exist as nobodies were given new lives.....it began with the Recusants Sigil
@@TheOriginalSolicious so a mcguffin, no significant purpose other than it being wanted. The sigil being a chain would have made a lot of sense considering the type of powers that xemnas has. In the fights you have with him there is at least 2 or 3 ways that he restricts or forces movement upon others and his personality is that of a manipulator, so the Sigil being something he uses to bind the nobodies that had recently been created would have made a lot of sense, especially if it was the last straw in blocking xion's existence.
I get wanting kairi to get her shine but you have to realize she in a fight she is not prepared for including Lea. Everyone has a vast more experience then Kairi and Lea. Even she still hasn't manifested her own keyblade. She has some time to go to be fight worthy.
I don't watch the streams so Idk if you saw it or not but Kairi has a shotlock as well. If you don't feel like playing through the entire DLC again, my suggestion would be to just react to a YT video of it on stream or something, completely up to you of course.
So, are you gonna play the DLC's Limitcut and Secret episodes? Gotta warn you though; the battles there are WAY harder than any other boss battle in the whole series, espacially in Critical Mode (which, unfortunately, is the ONE way to unlock the story-forward cutscenes, at least in Limitcut). You either play those episodes or watch other walkthroughers doing that if don't want to have a mental breakdown 'cause of the nearly endless game deaths.
Nah. He's the Master of Masters from UnionX. There's a chance that the Master of Masters pulled a Xigbar and transferred his heart into a new body(That being Demyx), but I find it pretty unlikely. If we ever find out the Master of Masters is Demyx, feel free to come back and call me a dingus.

Why would Kairi kick Xemnas' ass? Kairi and Lee are barely trained in Keyblade use and Kairi has basically zero actual combat experience. Kairi shouldn't have even been able to break through Xemnas' lightsabers but they let her do that to appease people like you and make it SEEM like Kairi maybe stood a chance, which she ABSOLUTELY didn't.
atleast she broke his guard when the others couldn't i can't tell if your abit salty about that or defending her she also has the best character moveset out of the others we play as
@@Ncholasbloom She is a plot device in that she doesn’t have an active role in the story. For a large part of 1 and 2 she was just the “damsel in distress”. She never actually pushed the narrative like the characters you listed. Axel was actually doing shit, whether for the Organization or fucking around with Roxas, meanwhile Kairi was locked up somewhere doing jack. That’s why she’s just seen as a “plot device”.
It's easy to forget that Riku is probably Namine's best friend because they spent a year together looking after Sora.

I just want to say that I really love your positive attitude for KH3. KH3 to this day gets so much undeserved hate. I won’t deny it has its flaws and that it could have been better. But people sometimes act like it is total trash and has done nothing good, wich just isn’t true! Criticism is important because without criticism things wouldn’t improve but you have to stay reasonable. And what people really have to understand is that the own opinion isn’t a fact!
Only because you didn’t like KH3 doesn’t mean it is trash. This is a very subjective thing and is even more true for a series like KH.
KH is very niche and isn’t for everyone but for its core audience it is something very special, unique and dear to the heart.

I understand the critiques. I would have loved to see FF characters in the base game and not just Limitcut, for one. But this game was so wonderful to play after going through the entire series. I know it was very hard for fans to wait such a long time while it was in development but I felt like it was made with so much love and attention to detail. you for letting us be a part of your journey! It is such a blast to see how much people can enjoy KH. Especially as someone who is with this series since KH1 in 2002. KH is often so belittled and trash talked that it is always nice to see that it can still bring strong emotions and joy out of people who are new to the series, like it did for me all theses years.
And I actually do agree on many criticism too.
I would have loved to see more FF characters involved, having arena battles in the coliseum or being able to visit Radiant Garden. But I think besides all criticism KH3 is still a wonderful journey with much love put into it.

@@paulparker3826 For me personally KH2 is still the better game for both gameplay and story. It felt in both aspects more thought out and polished for me but that does not make KH3 bad. I try to not let my love and nostalgia for 2 change my view on 3. KH3 is unique and lovable in its own way.
I feel like Re MIND was an extended director’s cut of the end of KH3, but that’s okay as it gave us some freaking amazing gameplay moments. Freaking Kairi went off at the end, Roxas was playable. I wish the party members could’ve been playable in the climax from the base game, but the wait made it worth it.
The entire DLC on Sora's perspective is almost gives me "Flash" vibes as how the extent of time traveling and Sora is asking nothing in return by risking his own existence to be teleported off this world to save his friends and allies in the process.
Though I do wish you could play as every one else or at least switch to them right off the bat. (though it's almost stealing a bit on FF7R) I would like that you can play/customize the guardians of lights on the data fights entirely instead of Sora only.
though the only unnecessary part of it is the data greetings. (in my opinion anyway)
If Re:Mind was included in the base-game I would've given it an 8 out of 10. Maybe 8 and a half.
If you pay close attention during the video you might be able to pickup on a slight difference in Violet's enthusiasm playing as Roxas vs Michael Moose.

Vexen isn’t innately evil, he’s just someone who has a big ego due to his intelligence. He”s got the “evil scientist” trope but, in reality, he’s got loyalty to Ansem the Wise and does have morals way deep down in his heart. I totally get why some people don’t like him and think he’s just bad and evil, but Even/Vexen is a character I personally think is a bit underrated. You talk a lot about mental health in these playthroughs, and I actually believe Even has some kind of personality/social disorder that affects how he interacts with people, it especially comes out in his scenes with Demyx (and this is coming from someone with social issues and mental illness, so I kind of see some of myself in Even when he’s interacting with people). He struggles to properly understand other people, but his true goal is to be on the good side of the fight. It’s definitely not obvious though, so I don’t blame anyone for initially disliking him.
Edit: I think a lot of people who were “gifted” growing up could probably relate to Even, with being very intelligent but not very socially smart, and came across as bossy and mean a lot as a kid. I’ve definitely had moments where I had a bit of an inflated head because I was considered “gifted”, but as I got older, I didn’t want to be different from my peers, I wanted to just be part of the crowd. I hated not understanding social cues, I hated being called “bossy”, and I truly had a big heart for everyone and was loyal to my friends. And I think Even has some of this in his character development. He was always intelligent and clever, he LOVES research. But he also loves his family he’s bonded with at Radiant Garden, he respects and looks up to Ansem the Wise as his mentor and was sad and missed him when he went missing. He’s loyal to the RG Crew. If I had to make parallels, when Even was a nobody and was “Vexen”, that’s like when you’re considered “gifted” in your childhood. But Even, after being recompleted, is growing out of that and trying to find yourself, because being “gifted” as an adult doesn’t really do anything but make you feel alone and unsure what to do anymore.

@@PermanentViolet My sugestions for those would be once you've seen the fights a couple of times would be to look up a guide on how to do the fights no hit. You might not be able to do it no-hit, but at least they will teach you the moveset of the enemy so you will know when to dodge and some of them become a lot easier like that. I suggest always looking for the part you are stuck in and avoiding parts further into the fight as some of the DM's could have been easly spoiled. Regardless good luck and I hope you enjoy it

This DLC fixed every major problem I had with KH3’s story and finale, as well as legit be the best content in the entire series (even more than KH2’s Final Mix content). The ReMIND episode alone is probably my favorite endgame in the entire franchise.
I wish the data battle would have been added into the base game instead of a separate episode, but I completely agree with you.
To me, the DLC just made the game even better for me. I already liked the game, the DLC just up my ratings from a 9/10 to a 13/10.

Yozora does indeed look like Riku but if you zoom in closer, he's actually a blend of Sora and Riku's designs. His hair is brown near the roots and silver at the tips. His jacket sleeve is the same as Riku's but with red shoulder pads the same red from Sora's outfit and mimicking Sora's hoodie. His collar has the same plaid pattern in the same place as Sora's, but the buttons are arranged like Riku's. The glove around his wrist matches Riku's but then turn into the same shape as Sora's near the knuckles. He also has a skull embroidered onto his sleeve wearing three crowns (same shape as Sora's crown necklace) arranged to look like Sora's spikey hair and the Kingdom Key crossed below it. His undershirt is the same shape as Riku's but its hem is red. "Sora" means sky while the name "Yozora" means "night sky." Also, he has heterochromia with Riku's blue in one eye and Sora's red in the other eye. He also appears in a secret ending paralleling Sora and Riku in the city. Just something to go "hmmm" over.
Kairi saying "please work" absolutely makes sense considering before that the she had NEVER fought anyone for real, her only experience was training with Lea and smashing a couple Heartless in KH2 she is still absolutely a novice fighting the (arguably) strongest keyblade master in known history her being nervous adds to her character, it doesn't substract from it, I thinking having her suddenly kick the whole organization's ass from all her offscreen training would've been a weak way to "fix" her character. This also applies to being captured by Xemnas, yes she had an upper hand at furst but again, Xemnas has years of experience and the move he used to capture her was enough to capture Sora as well so that shows the level she developed for Xemnas to be pushed to the same level as if he were fighting Sora, someome whonwe know he wouldn't underestimate
It would've been cool to see her do more, yes, but honestly she did just as much as everyone else (literally all of them having leagues more real experience than her so Kairi catching up to them is a feat in it own right)
Also this dlc gave a bit more context to her capture aswell. She and the others attacked xemnas and she even got a few hits off on him before hitting her with a powerful drain attack. One which weakened both her and sora that much they couldnt help RAX in the following fight. Sora recovered quick because hes sora but kairi didnt and was immediately grabbed afterwards whilst she was still exhausted.
People need to rememeber she has had 0 real combat experience and all these org members even gave the other more experienced fighters trouble.
@@SPIKEYROXAS exactly and saying they "did her dirty" when the only reason Sora was able to survive and reach the final world in the first place was because of her powers, everyone wanted her to just be another badass fighting wacking heartless left and right but ever since KH2 I would've prefered to have seen her unique Princess of heart abilities be explored a bit more since those allow her to do things no one else can, having her fight is cool but imagine if she could actually learn to harness and control that power? Like Riku managed to wield Darkness without being corrupted, it would make her an invaluable ally with her own skillset

Couldn’t have said it better myself. The line makes perfect sense in context, Kairi is the least experienced fighter by a lot, and her first real high stakes battle is one where even Sora is struggling with, she’s doing better than she should, and she’s keeping up with everyone.

If you ever remeber one thing is that Music plays a huge role in the teasers. The opening piano chords in the last cutscene are a variation of Somnus for FF15. Yozora is a redesign of Noctics from not FF15 but from FF13 versus. thats where the different colored eyes come from. So we are about to get FF13versus in a sense inside of KH. Also If you fight and beat Yozora there is another cutscene confirming pretty much all of this mimicking a scene from a trailer of FF13versus. KH is about to get VERY VERY interesting!

Her not being confident makes sense and I think its good for her character. She does not have the fighting experience like the other characters and screwed over before. With her not being confident in her abilities it will make her future development more satisfying
Regarding the ending, That building is a very famous building located in Tokyo as you said, Shibuya to be more specific. It shows up in a lot of games labelled differently. But there is one universe where its labelled "104" specifically. Nomura said on an interview that its not what we think it is, But I think its BS.
Honestly it could be a double lie. It’s not TWEWY universe but it is. Similar to how in TWEWY they say the characters are not in Shibuya but the Underground. The reaper game version of Shibuya. Perhaps Sora is in a version like where he’s not really in Shibuya but he is.
As for Riku well he’s straight up in Verum Rex aka Versus XIII.

You know what, I would love for you to react to the like-300 page document (don't worry, they are mostly pictures) about why Kingdom Hearts 3 is not actually happening in the Realm of Light or, even, for the first time.
It's called the Sleeping Realm Theory and touches on a lot of things that also left me dubious and confused, like Meow Wow being present outside of a sleeping world or why all the other summons are vaguely incorporeal/elemental by contrast.
Or, I mean, Riku's Hairstyle.
Why does no one mention it?
There are so many little things that the theory goes to explain that could, otherwise, only be explained with plot convenience or bad writing, like people (Goofy in 2.9 for example) remembering things they have not experienced or have been told.
Barry Kramer had it explained to him in 6/7 hours on his stream, but that was while working on his KH3 video, chatting around and memeing (Wha Happun).
Still, I feel like you would really like it as, for example, sheds light on some ... "conservative" translation choices from the Japanese in the english translation.
For example, in the realm of darkness, during 2.9, Mickey tells Riku that he finally found the strength to protect "What Matters", but in the Japanese original text what is said, according to a more literal translation is "Your important, cherished person" and, I mean, we all know who he's talking about ;D.
I hope, even if it won't be part of a stream or a video, that you might read it on your own as it certainly heightened and bettered my Kingdom Hearts experience, so I hope it might do the same for you.

Something to note, remember how a lot of the organization members told Sora countless times that he going to get what’s coming to him? Well, the fact that Sora and Riku are in the real world (so to speak) is not a good thing. Sora broke a law against nature which was his overuse of the power of waking. His punishment is that he’s getting the “ban hammer” as penance for his mistake. Riku was also involved so he’s getting the same.

Admittedly I also took like 45 extra mins beating the pink shadows in scala because I wasn't sure we would be back and I needed to explore that beautiful world. Maybe you are right about Vexen, cause I always saw him both in the game and in the mangas as an obsessive scientist. But remember, without him we'd never have Xion or any vessels to help Naminé in KH3

16:27 Sadly this is the truth of KH. As much as we all love and appreciate Sora, it feels like Nomura’s other characters need WAY more spot light than what they actually receive. Roxas deserves another game where he learns how to master Dual-wielding (lore wise, he probably only used it for like 20 minutes? Lmao), Aqua and Terra both need a game to deal with the trauma they’ve went through, Kairi needs a game where she gets stronger and possibly deals with Darkness as one of the 7 hearts, and Riku needs his own stand alone game (not one where he needs to share the screen time with Sora). At the end of the day though it feels like Nomura doesn’t want to share the screen time which is sad since I’d argue Sora is the least interesting character compared/not as well written as the ones listed above ://

I love the last two boss fights. I especially love the short moments of playing as Terra and Axel. Plus I loved playing as Riku, Aqua, and Roxas again. Plus, I was surprised at how good I was at playing as Kairi.

Ok so I don't know if anyone has explained it to you after streaming but before Final Fantasy 15 was Final Fantasy 15, it was a game in development originally called Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
A lot of changes happened over the course of changing the game from Versus XIII to the FF15 we know today. A lot of Nomuras original vision for the game isnt intact. (Although I still love FF15), Noctis has a slight personality shift and an entire character got cut from the game and replaced with Lady Lunafreya.
Yozora, the video game character guy is a reference to the Old Noctis from Versus XIII, which is why you hear slight hints of Somnus (the main FF15 theme) during that secret ending. His video game ad from the Toy Story world (The Verum Rex commercial) is also a nod to the old Versus XIII trailers.
Yozora is basically Nomura not being able to make Versus XIII the way he originally wanted, so it appears that he's trying to put his ideas into KH instead.

Iirc, Nomura confirmed that it WASNT the version from TWETY. There are also inconsistencies with TWETY Shibuya and the one Sora is in. Imo, it's probably KH's own version of Shibuya, or the one that's in Yozora's game.

It'd be awesome if we get a isa lea xion and roxas game with all of them playable but it'd be focused on isa and his redemption getting a keyblade it'd also be awesome if they went through a river and Isa almost drowns and lea saves him if he does get a keyblade tho it'd probably be something like path of redemption keyblade

You said Sora and Riku are in Tokyo. For those who still doesn't know, actually Riku is not in Tokyo. Sora is in Shibuya Crossing in front the building 104 (From TWEWY) and Riku is in another place (I'm just gonna stop here and not telling where to not spoil in case anyone still didn't go so far in Melody of Memory).

That guy on the ending with the red eye you saw that sora and riku are walkong in a citty, that is the characther what the dinosaur had you mistaken for in the toy story world , he's name is yozora you can actually fight him in the dlc but its really hard to get to him and he is aswell really hard to beat
You can play Aqua as her own with her own story, in KH BBS, and you can play All the way as Riku in Chain of memories

The "Sigil" thing would have flown better if it was said something closer to "this is the final lock on our time together in the organization" like their memories were locked away in a home with the lights off and the curtains closed. As they started finding that something wasn't right in their memories, the lights were turned on, when they called xion's name, the curtains opened but the doors were still locked, some of the best memories came up but not all of them, they had to break Xemnas's hold over their past. That would have been a better explanation than the vague "the Sigil!"
The Recusant Sigil is important to them as it is proof of their identity, proof that these 3 friends who were never supposed to exist as nobodies were given new lives.....it began with the Recusants Sigil
@@TheOriginalSolicious so a mcguffin, no significant purpose other than it being wanted. The sigil being a chain would have made a lot of sense considering the type of powers that xemnas has. In the fights you have with him there is at least 2 or 3 ways that he restricts or forces movement upon others and his personality is that of a manipulator, so the Sigil being something he uses to bind the nobodies that had recently been created would have made a lot of sense, especially if it was the last straw in blocking xion's existence.
I get wanting kairi to get her shine but you have to realize she in a fight she is not prepared for including Lea. Everyone has a vast more experience then Kairi and Lea. Even she still hasn't manifested her own keyblade. She has some time to go to be fight worthy.
I don't watch the streams so Idk if you saw it or not but Kairi has a shotlock as well. If you don't feel like playing through the entire DLC again, my suggestion would be to just react to a YT video of it on stream or something, completely up to you of course.
So, are you gonna play the DLC's Limitcut and Secret episodes? Gotta warn you though; the battles there are WAY harder than any other boss battle in the whole series, espacially in Critical Mode (which, unfortunately, is the ONE way to unlock the story-forward cutscenes, at least in Limitcut). You either play those episodes or watch other walkthroughers doing that if don't want to have a mental breakdown 'cause of the nearly endless game deaths.

Nah. He's the Master of Masters from UnionX. There's a chance that the Master of Masters pulled a Xigbar and transferred his heart into a new body(That being Demyx), but I find it pretty unlikely. If we ever find out the Master of Masters is Demyx, feel free to come back and call me a dingus.
The single best choice of this DLC was making Christopher Lloyd take the place of Rutger hauer as Xehanort.

Why would Kairi kick Xemnas' ass? Kairi and Lee are barely trained in Keyblade use and Kairi has basically zero actual combat experience. Kairi shouldn't have even been able to break through Xemnas' lightsabers but they let her do that to appease people like you and make it SEEM like Kairi maybe stood a chance, which she ABSOLUTELY didn't.
atleast she broke his guard when the others couldn't i can't tell if your abit salty about that or defending her she also has the best character moveset out of the others we play as

@@Ncholasbloom She is a plot device in that she doesn’t have an active role in the story. For a large part of 1 and 2 she was just the “damsel in distress”. She never actually pushed the narrative like the characters you listed. Axel was actually doing shit, whether for the Organization or fucking around with Roxas, meanwhile Kairi was locked up somewhere doing jack. That’s why she’s just seen as a “plot device”.
