In case it wasn't clear, the reason the hearts of the Princesses suddenly appeared after Sora stabbed himself with Ansem's special Keyblade is because that Keyblade was made of the hearts of the six captured Princesses, in order to reclaim Kairi's heart. When Sora stabbed himself with it, he fulfilled the special Keyblade's purpose, so it was returned to its composite parts, and they then returned to where they belonged. Speaking of Ansem's special Keyblade, forget that it ever existed. Moving forward it's effectively retconned out of existence, as unlocking hearts becomes an ability shared by all Keyblades.
"Retconned" is an exaggerated term, the plot just moved beyond needing to reference it again. But it at no time pretended it didn't exist or altered the plot to eradicate it from its history.

That’s so sweet! I have just moved house and needed some time to settle but I’m all good and ready to edit again. I watched CoM and have played KH2. Took a break due to rebirth 🥰 hopefully lots of content coming the next few weeks. Thanks for being so kind ☺️

This is my favorite game series of all time. Other games do different aspects better, but nothing makes my heart so full as this franchise. I love it so much. Square really has me by the balls, but I'm coming along for the ride one way or another lol
Thanks for sharing this! You had a great adventure. One of those jokes I've always heard people make over the years is how much Kingdom Hearts is about the power of friendship and you showed all of those moments, with delightful reactions.

Although i will add there is secret content you can see if you 100% the game on the hardest difficulty for each game in the series. Also giving you a sub in hopes of seeing more. I just watched this video and your video on Final Fantasy XII on Twitch.
Since I have no account there I will simply post what I want to say here instead.
Were you aware that there is actually an official sequel to Final Fantasy XII?
It's called Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings and was released on the Nintendo DS, which of course means that it looks differently.
However it does indeed tell how the story of Vaan, Penelo and the others continues.
I thought it is something you might want to be aware of since you seemed to really enjoy FF XII.

I think it got its' somewhat bad reputation because it is a very different style of game from the original, which is simply due to the severe hardware limitations of the original DS.
Gameplaywise it feels somewhat related to the Final Fantasy Tactics games, which by the way are apparently supposed to play in the same world as Final Fantasy XII, though I don't think they are otherwise related.
Anyways, Revenant Wings is not a bad game. It's just very different from its' predecessor.
I'd suggest to take a look at the trailer, which you can easily find on RUclips. It does give you an idea what to expect.
