This shit is so good man, I feel I'm experiencing this series for the first time again, appreciate you sticking to it Kang, you're gonna love 2 shit goes hard
1:47:30 Yoko Shimomura (the main composer for the series) contributed to Xenoblade 1's OST and she also arranged many remixes for Smash games since Brawl, I think. So it's not too far-fetched if a track reminded you of that.
Kang, there was a secret Sephiroth superboss in Kingdom Hearts 1 Olympus Coliseum lol. Most KH games feature superbosses, some which are just really challenging battles and others that tie into the plot. There was even a black coat secret boss in Hollow Bastion, which is one of the flashbacks you see at the start of KH2 (you pointed out how you didn't remember it, it's cause you never saw it!). Sometimes these bosses are a little tease for what is to come, it's worth checking out the postgame/optional content even if you don't go through with completing it.
Oh, an interesting choice from the original uploader. They only included songs by Yoko Shimomura in this video, which means when you play KH2, you'll be hearing a completely new song you haven't heard before nearly right away. I was concerned if the reaction was going to make it through since the song gets copyrighted a lot, so it's funny it just isn't in this video so we don't have to worry about it.
37:33 you’re listening to the greatest villain organization music ever. also every ost you were listening to is the normal version, not the final mix version. that one does it better than in regular II.
So strange that some music that was in the base og kh2 weren't included in the video. But anyways, it was fun relistening to the og ost with you after so long. Big wave of nostalgia hit me fr.
Oh, Kang is going to have a BLAST with this one. Since it's much more action packed and less grind reliant than the other games, I bet it's going to become his favourite of the saga. Specially once he discovers some of the special reaction commands, if you know you know.
1:39:37 "Who transformed?" Not a transformation sequence. At the same time, the game did in a way. That music accompanies a climactic scene that leads into a climactic battle that basically serves as the point at which the game enters its second half.
sad this isn't the FM/2.5 version, that one had a boss song that was added with a boss that used to be just a cutscene, not goint spoil what, who, or where to make it better once you get there.
I wish you did the Final Mix soundtrack. It's got bangers such as The Other Promise, Rage Awakened, and Fate of the Unknown. I hope you at least play through all the secret battles of the game so you get to listen to them in-game.
Kind of half wanting you to listen to the 2.5 stuff instead cause it's actually more in line with the songs you'll hear (some changes/remixes) but the OG is still the OG The second song can only be heard if you idle on the main menu for like, a minute
idk if you saw my comment on the last OST reaction but you finna get spoiled on future KH games if you keep listenin to the OST before playing the game, I understand if you dont wanna but im just telling you so you know ya know? a lot of these songs represent either a character or an enemy or something like that so its really easy to match them to their music
RE: 42:24 Kingdom Hearts II's gummi ship stages are actually the most enjoyable ones in the series IMO. Unlike the first game, which kinda plays like bargain bin Star Fox, KHII brings to mind an arcade style shoot-em up game. Once you get your ideal ship set up and take on the stages, it's actually kinda addictive. Especially when you reach the last one of Assault on the Dreadnaught where the last stage throws you a surprise just when you THOUGHT you were done!
Damn this one doesn't have any of the KH2 Final Mix music. Well... he'll hear most of it once he actually plays. Also make sure you react to the secret ending of KH2 once you're done. It's broken into two parts.
My man listened to the 2005 version. The version you are playing is 2013 remix one. Both are amazing. Just wanted to let you know that some songs might not sound like this.
No audio man
RUclips do that when you click on it as soon as it uploads, they be on my downfall fr

"They got 36 goddamn forms" - my friend, you think you're joking, but this guy just does not quit.
you’re about to experience peak i’m so excited for you !! i will be there no matter what
TWO DECADES+ LATER and I only now just heard a bit of Dearly Beloved in Working Together wtf.

Man, I will always remember the feeling of booting up my PS2 and hearing that very first track. The game was worth its price just for that alone.

that's what kingdom hearts 2 does to you
Someone give this man a kingdom hearts crown symbol chain necklace
Thanks Kang for the Kingdom hearts Series OST Reaction and also the Playthrough!
Feeling the nostalgia all over again.
You know that sephiroth is in the first game as a secret boss
I don't think he knows since he didn't check the coliseum fights and was bad at the game anyways to be able to fight him
@@JonseyLetsPlaysdamn, catching strays in the comments 😂
1:39:40 took you five seconds to realize that iconic theme XDDDDDD
"I bring you despair"

Always a joy to see you groove.
back to back with another banger game omg, i swear you will love KH2 far more than the KH1 both the gameplay and the stories

if you havent fought the secret boss in kh1… for the love of god please see it before you play 2.5 final mix. trust me. you’ll need to.
I wish you did the Final Mix soundtrack. It's got bangers such as The Other Promise, Rage Awakened, and Fate of the Unknown. I hope you at least play through all the secret battles of the game so you get to listen to them in-game.
Yoko Shimomura made a few tracks for Xenoblade 1, including the title theme so that makes sense

Idk if you know but there was a sephiroth fight in Olympus colosseum in kh1 with its own cutscene with cloud
oh we are so back
Can’t wait for more streams for kingdom hearts 2

Or maybe he just won't catch it lol
He just needed to top things off with Sanctuary and After the Battle. I guet why they aren't here, but both are iconic.

Nope, 358/2 Days and KH3 if I recall correctly
😂 Man the ost hits different after you played the games multiple times 😂.

I kinda wish he wouldnt spoil himself on games through the OST, but these videos do clearly do well
Boo hoo how can ost spoil anything 🤣
