@DUEL.FATALIS I'm triple elite in combat, trade and exploration so. Actually just realized as i was typing, quadruple elite because exobio. Sitting on a small fortune. FC + whole fleet of engineered ships, i don't have to module swap at all basically. I've been to the far reaches of space (Colonia, the core, etc). Max Fed and Empire rank. There's really not much for me to do anymore. I've been doing powerplay a bit but that gets boring fast. It's easy to find things to do if you're newer. But if you've been playing all these years. Likely you don't have much to do.
I'm actually somewhat disappointed about this. I have a long-range Hauler I use for moving around the bubble, which naturally is getting the grade 2 FSD, and I was thinking of making a second one and fitting that with one too.
We made histori in this game. It was an honor fighting side by side with so many good cmdrs during this last month. I'm proud and absolutely ready for action when we become needed again. 😎
I kind of hope the thargoid plot doesn't end here. There is so much more content surrounding them to miss (Col70, HIP 22460 etc). In the mean time, It's back to Asterope to bully the nebula goids. o7, Glory to mankind!
There are absolutely more coming. That last sound on cocijo in my mind was the sound of distant thargoids expressing their anger and spinning up to come take us seriously.

Thank you CMDR for all of your hard work. I had never before even considered Anti-Xeno combat before the Battle for Sol. Needless to say, you were an invaluable resource. With your help and information I was able to go from completely green, to soloing my first cyclops, to defending settlement after settlement, to bombing Titan Cocijo. All within the span of just a couple of weeks. I'm going to gather materials from the Titan grave, unlock these engineers, and use my newly acquired billions to pimp out this Anaconda you gave me for defending Hutton, and then I think I'm going to go meet up with the rest of you in the Pleiades. For all you've done for mankind, I salute you Commander o7

As for what's next? Well, some scavenging at the wreck, then off to restock Guardian materials and maybe unlock a few more of the Guardian modules. I never did finish them all. After that, some exploring and Xenobiology is in order.
I was able to join ya ONCE at a spire operation. That was the most fun I’ve had Ever in any game. I’ll remember this war forever. It was a Huge pleasure to fight along side you Commander!!! O7!
It was fun on the final Titan, thanks for encouraging us casual gamers to come back and try it again for the final time, (for now!). I quit playing after a couple weeks at the start of the war way back over a year ago, just not as dedicated as you Anti-Xeno dudes but glad to see a dedicated crowd you all created to defeat this enemy for the time being, hopefully not over at all long term, it was fun and would do it again somewhere else! I had myself perfectly aligned with Cocijo being directly between myself and Earth when it exploded. I didn't go into the red cloud and from the perimiter as it finally exploded all I seen was a giant green pulse like the blue one but much thicker. That moment my SLOBS crashed and I missed pretty much the entirety of the explosion. But I did still get the majority of the explosion settling down with a glorious view of Earth in the background. Hands down I have the best screenshot of Cocijo's death, without needing to compare or submit it; it's a winner 100%
I'm grateful to have hopped on the streams. Big bundle of fun to watch and to interact with the community you have! You absolutely helped alot reignite my interest in AX, and even convinced me to run my Type-10 as a makeshift bomber. No regrets! o7, see y'all out there!
Thank you very much, Commander Mechan, for your videos. I have learned a lot over the past two years, I have built ships based on your recommendations and have learned to fight aliens somehow. I am a bad fighter, but still, I was useful in some way. I do not regret the credits, materials and time spent, I will not dismantle my entire antixeno fleet, but I will leave all the ships in my private museum, who knows, maybe they will still be needed. As for me, I plan to return to research in deep dark space. I will take a break from the noise of civilization, from political intrigue and will enjoy solitude until I get tired of it or the bubble calls me for help again. My Anaconda is already equipped with the best FSD for today. Thanks to Mechan for your invaluable help, thanks to all brothers in arms!
Now that the war is over I'm going on vacation, and do something different. I'm gonna outfit a beluga and take some passengers on a pilgrimage to Colonia.

I joined the war at the very last moment, just when Cocijo landed in Sol. I had no engineering but I tried my best in a Vulture to hunt a few scouts and then I went with an unengineered Krait and even managed to have success on that and earning 500mil just by doing 5 or 6 successful bomb runs. Also I learned A LOT both from you and while participating so I appreciate the game as whole even more and am looking forward for what it has in stall for all of us.

o7 Commanders, glory to mankind! But . . . It is sad to see the mystery of the Thargoids be further unveiled. It was inevitable with the increased interaction, but the Thargoids were enigmatic space whales and lurking reminders from the FIrst Thargoid War. This Second Thargoid War has demystified a lot about the Thargoids. We still do not know a lot about them though, and there's still things to be in awe over regarding Thargoids. FDev did an outstanding job at making them feel truly alien.
The war is over. We survived. But freedom is not free and must remain ever vigilant against the coming danger, whether it is from the depths of the black or within ourselves. Just like with Shinrarta and Sol, AX pilots are always ready to wing up and fight.

I wish I had been able to contribute some bug kills or damage in the core but Ive just recently returned to the game and brought the wife along for the ride. Thargoid content is not my cup of tea, but I do hope they open up some permit locked zone, some kind of Aegis, INRA related infrastructure with a titan around (that either flees before it's destroyed and comes back repaired or new stargoid arrives after a month or so), where there would be a PERPETUAL war - so we can enjoy titan bombing, AX reactivation missions with revenants, systems with anti-guardian zone, planetary CZs, spire sites etc.
We were there in a group today on the Ghost Giraffe stream and it did seem to increase the spawn rate but they all seemed to spawn next to someone else and I ended up with none 🤣🤣 As far as colonisation goes, I struggle to run a house and pay the bills properly, never mind a complete solar system 🙂
With the war over I'm finally taking the exobiology expedition I was planning on taking BEFORE Cocijo was jumping to Sol. I plan on basing up at Colonia for the forseeable future, maybe earn enough money for a fleet carrier before I go back... I'm more than halfway to Colonia in my new Mandalay (thank you christmas money), outfitted with the reward FSD, I'm getting like, 88 LY of jump range on average with everything I need for exobio and materal gathering if I happen upon crystal clusters. I was originally going to transfer my ships to a fleet carrier that was on the way to Colonia, but the FCOC discord didn't have any with Shipyards available... So I decided on doing the trip myself and I'll only choose a few ships to transfer to Colonia. I want to be there when the colonization feature comes out. And I got my HOTAS for christmas time as well so I get to learn it in a chill environment :)
The xeno war has been a annoyance at most for me as it centered around stuff i hated lol, so i mostly just kept away from it doing my normal stuff. So now that it's over nothings change, if anything i'm just happy they seem to be making the other parts of the game mean more in the next big update.
I still haven't been out to Colonia, and my Asp has just gained 3.27ly of jump range. No time like the present! Besides, we're running out of time to make that trip "the hard way" because of all the new systems that will be colonized soon.
That's lame that it's over at least for now. Nothing that bad even happened. I guess I'll hunt them down at coal sack. I don't even do that much AX but went in a high intensity npc combat zone and it was boring. The thargoids are fun even if I'm not good at it.
I got 9 Titan drives in about 3/4 hours in the caustic graveyard. It's really easy, I don't know if the Cocijo is bugged or not, No Thargoids, weak as piss caustic cloud. It's either bugged or devs are catering to casuals. 😄
Im a bit socially awkward, English is also not my first language, and on top Discord is blocked in my country. Using VPN on pc is a bit of a problem. Is there still a place for me in AX as in the wing or something? I joined recently, around 3 weeks ago now, so i wanna try different things, mining, exo biology, exploration, combat. But i also want to do AX combat eventually.
@kingheroknight I have the blue check mark and the "A" tier status thing but there is nothing to turn in? I went through all the contacts and don't have any bounties or anything. Like I said I did get the SCOs but don't know where to get the money. The only choice I have on the CG tab is Close, open map and abandon....
@briangueringer3673 so you entered the megaship hanger go to the mission board head to the community goals option and there you should be able to turn in your results. If you have already done so then I suggest maybe sending in a ticket to frontier. Otherwise, I have no clue. Good luck to you commander o7.
@briangueringer3673 Just to clarify station services--->mission board. From there it should list missions, passenger lounge, and community goal. You want the community goal. From there you should be able to turn in your contribution.

I miss Titan Bombing already. It's the mechanic that pulled me into "Open" play.
The Anti-Guardian Zone Resistance engineering should still be considered since the HIP 22460 system still has that zone effect.

I haven't seen any hostiles at Cojico and I think that falls in line with the whole "Thargoids have left Sol" storyline
I also believe you need a corrosion resistant cargo rack for the titan drive component - which i think is unlocked at the megaships
Palin sells C2 and C1 CRCRs. C4 (16t) are unlocked with Meta Alloys at human tech brokers. C6 (64t) CRCRs are event-exclusive.

It was a grand victory for the forces of humanity! Naturally I did most of the work... But the AXI helped a bit too.
I can not stress enough that if Frontier let some players pay cash for early access to colonization, it would really anger the player base as a whole.
