I've seen 10 of these on youtube. This one is the best one, light weight but heavy enough to do the job.

Great job on completing a project like this with whatever you had on hand. It just goes to show that anyone can complete a task with a little effort and reusing materials to get the job done. You may want to consider adding cross braces on the end of the shelves to help support the OSB material. Like many others have already indicated, SAFETY FIRST! Push sticks are cheap to make, but are much easier to replace than severed fingers are. And reaching across a rotating saw blade is dangerous even for the pros.

Please, use a push stick when you use your table saw

Absolutely - I completely agree. I felt so uncomfortable watching parts of that. Please do take basic safety seriously.

+desreed1 I will be sure to a push stick on my next table saw project. I'm not concerned for my safety as I have been using a table saw for half my life, and know my comfort level. I AM however concerned with the comfort of my viewers. Thank you for the concern I will be sure to keep your perspective in mind.

I don't usually reply to these things, but as I watched I thought OMG! I have to say something. I was glad to see that I was not the only one. A master craftsman once told me, "Don't be afraid of your tools, but never get completely comfortable with them either. Whatever control you think you have, you're wrong. Wood is irregular and therefore will sometimes do unexpected things." I know a guy who used a table saw regularly for over 60 years with never an accident. Then about a year ago, he cut his thumb off on a table saw, doing just what you were doing. Just sayin'...

Please, please start using a push stick when cutting small pieces on the table saw!

Kudos to you for taking the time to film and post diy videos. But yes, please demonstrate proper tool safety too!

Yes--I am concerned about your using fingers instead of some sort of push block, even if it is just a strip of wood.

Je vais faire une mesure et vous tiens au courant. Je n'ai pas planifié la construction, je me suis simplement lancé. Désolé si mon français est nul.
