Great video, I’m a regular user of exposure bracketing . I’d like to I offer a tip, for Canon users at least. Instead of selecting the burst mode to take the pics use the 2 second timer option. This lets you push the shutter button then clear your hand away from the camera, to remove the risk of moving it, and the camera then takes the set of bracketed photos automatically.
@@jonvanderhorn9651 yes, it’s very easy to select. You can do it via the drive button on the top of the camera, just press the drive button and use the dial on top of the camera to select the 2 second timer option. Or you can use the Q button on the back of the camera and select it via the touch screen. It’s the 4th icon from the left on the bottom row (will look like a rectangle in normal shooting mode) Press that icon, the heading at the top of the screen should say drive mode, and then select 2 second timer.
It took me 9 minutes and 41 seconds to fully understand what Exposure Bracketing is. Thank you very much for the clear and concise tutorial! Liked, and subscribed.
I previously found this concept complicated. There are so many other photography tutors and tutorials but most of them are basically just "noise"'. You are so clear and thorough. Thank you for your tutorials. You are a fantastic teacher @photogenius.
You have already been called the "best teacher in the world" just want to second that :D.. You've made a better picture taker out of me in a short amount of time. Thanks You!!
What I liked so much, is your very simple way of explicating the matter to beginners, irrespective of the sophistication of cameras and their level of knowledge about photography!! Would love to have more such videos. Thnx and regards.
Thanks that made a lot of sense, I was aware of exposure bracketing but the way you explained and demonstrated the process has made it clear. Thanks appreciate all you do.
Bracketing was vital back in the days when we used film and the majority of photographers didn’t have access to the post exposure voodoo available today. Still very useful in the digital age particularly with landscape/nature photography where light can change second to second. Another brilliant video!
Thank you for this. I'm in a Photography class our first teacher quit 2/3 of the semester being completed and gave our new teacher NONE of our grades. She didn't really teach us anything, so we were lost in doing this assignment. I have a Nikon in a class full of Canon, and my old D3300 didn't have the settings our new teacher gave us. I REALLY appreciate you showing me how to set my Nikon up to get this assignment completed.
Terrific video. Paul you have no idea how much beginners love these videos. Every video has that "aha" moment which makes us feel, great I have an additional tool in my camera bag now. Thank you 😊
2nd time watching this video and NOW after more knowledge of my camera and exposure, this video makes perfect sense to me. Im excited to try and make a HDR photo since i'm very, very green in post production and not the biggest fan of photo editing. I prefer the photo to look as it did in person, but with exposure bracketing I can get all the detail a single photo might not pickup. Thanks for this video!!!
As always, can't appreciate enough the simple and yet effective delivery of the topic just as I was looking for! Straight to the point, no unnecessary music and distracting stuff!
Thank you for your videos. As i am using a dslr for the first time, I appreciate all the tutorials that are teaching me so much about my camera. I have the Canon EOS Rebel T7. The way you teach is easy to follow and understand.
This was fantastic! Bracketing has been a serious source of frustration for me for years...no longer! And, to boot, I can't wait to merge images! A million times, thank you!!! WOOHOO!
Thank you! The Canon is the same camera I have as well. Hadn’t thought of using Continuous Shooting, I’ll try that the next time I go out to take some photos!
Best teacher in the world
*Blush* 😊
Shucks - thanks...
Paul.
Honestly
Great teacher and very descriptive
Absolutely right! All the others are so idiot that they never show how exactly to make the exposure settings on the camera !
I absolutely 💯 agree ‼️😃

Good call!
Awesome. Thanks. A great help.
This is what my boss told me to do as well. Is it simple to find the 2 second timer? I haven't looked into it yet.
