This is a super timely review. I am going backpacking at Henry Coe SP here in the Bay Area next weekend and temps are down in lower 40s to upper 30s. I’m using a Featherstone Moondance 25 quilt which I *THINK* will keep me warm enough but have been a little concerned. Feel like this could be a good addition to bump my comfort level up quite a bit.

That sounds like a good idea. I test out a lot of stuff, and I don’t always know how well something will perform until I start using it. Carrying the extra quilt gives me the confidence I need when testing equipment.

I’ve never used a hammock for backpacking before, so I don’t know. but I would assume it would work.
